    My favourite protein for this recipe - PEScience Select chocolate Peanut butter Cup. Compliments it perfectly.
    Just a personal preference but with this and the Oreo mcflurry - I say go with 5-6 Mini reeses/oreo thins instead of the cereal - you're just not gonna convince me that the cereal tastes the same as the real thing.

      Not true the dusted up oreo o's actually do taste similar. I myself did not blend half of the cereal into the ice cream. I left half of the serving in chunky pieces and folded it in by hand at the end of blending then added the dust on top. Way more flavor and textures

    • @nick72799
      @nick72799 4 года назад +1

      Diego Quijano Personally, id probably just factor a serving of them in and use minis for extra volume. Since all the other ingredients are relatively low calorie, it all works out! The only difference between this and a potential m&m one would be the topping. 👌🏽

    • @DingoEstrea96
      @DingoEstrea96 4 года назад +2

      @@nick72799 fair, honestly. Looking at the macros using my own ingredients; the icecream without the toppings would be somewhere around
      292 Cal, 40g Protein, 19g Carbs, 6g of fat.
      So if one were to add around 40g (I like them on the bottom of the icecream too 😆) of the m&m minis then the new macros would be
      484 Cal, 42g Protein, 41g Carbs, 15g Fat.
      A normal m&m storm from Hungry Jacks (Australia's equivalent to Burger King) has around
      645 Cal, 15g Protein, 84g Carbs, 24g Fat.
      So yeah, Id say that you ARE adding more calories but because of how low the calorie the actual icecream is, you can afford to add in the actual m&m minis 😆 Much better macros for sure.

  • @GagePerez

    I just made this for the second time today. I will admit, the first time I tried it, I didn’t love it but that’s because I think I added way too much xanthum gum and not enough Reese’s Puffs. I’m always disappointed by shakes because they never have enough Reese’s but this is literally perfect.

  • @Deathkill06
    @Deathkill06 4 года назад +7

    I tried the Oreo one twice and to be honest it's probably the only recipe from you I wasn't that into, maybe it was cause of the PES vanilla protein powder I used but the texture was more like a less sweet not that cold whipped cream with a crushed cereal on top. I don't think you can really replace Oreos or pb cups with the cereal, I'd say it's about 30% as good as the real thing. Probably gonna stick to Halo Top, Halo Top is like 85% as good as regular ice cream. If there was a way to recreate Halo Top with more volume I'd be sold because when I tried this I was expecting ice cream or something equivalent to the texture of maybe a soft serve Halo Top. Your cinnamon toast crunch donuts are absolutely bonkers delicious though and I eat them multiple times a week.

      I agree, I've never had an anabolic ice cream that was any good - I've tried variants from Greg, Will T and RJ. I just blend the lowest cal ice cream I can find with mini reeses. No need for all those extras ,xantham gum, yogurt, pudding just turns it into a goopy paste.

    • @reyyce4658
      @reyyce4658 4 года назад +2

      The Oreo one does taste empty. Almost all his recipes on here he stretches the truth for lies, because who’s going to watch him say oh it’s 40-70% as good as the real thing? No one. The ice cream that works for me that I can get around 200-250 calories is a chocolate ice cream. It’s easy to make it because you can add low calorie fillers like sugar free chocolate syrup or cacao and it’s really strong flavor wise. Here’s what I put in it if you want to try it: 1 scoop Protein powder, 5-10grams cacao dark chocolate or regular, 8 grams sugar free jello, 15g sugar free syrup, 150 grams almond milk, then like 26 ice cubes or however much you want, that number has worked best for me. I blend that and a little almond milk if it can’t blend, then once it’s blended I add like 1/2 to 1 tsp of guar gum to thicken it up. Pretty easy to add a lot of chocolate flavor for low calories unlike Oreos which is like 160 calories for an empty taste, let me know if that works for you guys

    We don't have Jell-O around here. Is it based on gelatin (as the name kind of suggests) or some kind of starch? Usually our pudding mixes (except maybe for "Paradiescreme", but that wouldn't be sugar free) are based on starch.

      He’s doing a great job educating the public about “anabolic eating”, but that’s not to say the recipes can’t be improved. No rules in the anabolic kitchen and this at least provides a starting point or inspiration for some people.

      Andrew yea, to a degree but he’s shown he doesn’t have much knowledge in terms of fats or sodium. Also claiming all nutrients in broccoli is in the fluffy part? Not true. He actually blocked me on IG for asking if he ever does his annual blood work. I skipped it too long and found out I had high bp due to excessive sodium. Saved my life, but he didn’t like that. Was back when he was on carnivore.
