5:35, i owned that saxo vts for around 2 years after danny had it and it was one of the best cars that i have owned. Car no longer exists due to rot :(
I also had a MK1 vts that was sadly rotten and ended up in the scrappers! Brilliant little car whilst I had it

I watched every bit and didn't doze off once.😉 So it all started with the Corsa 1.2 with a 0-60 pull of about 11 seconds.⏳😩 Did I catch a Nurburgring sticker on the rear at 2:02 ?👀 For one of your early cars, that blue Phase 1 172 Clio Sport was pretty sweet! I'd drive that.👍 Also liked that TechnoViolet BMW 328.👌 I've always liked cars in the dark blue to violet end of the spectrum. You've had lots of cars in a relatively short span... more than my wife and I have owned in our lives and we've been married 26 years. LOL! At 46 now, looks like I need to step up my car game a little bit.😆 Thanks for taking the time to put on these videos, bro... still diggin' them. My favorite part of this one is around 28:37. mate, i know exactly what you meant about the clio 172. i had a phase 2 172 cup and it turned me into a hooligan lol. because they look all girly and cutesy, you'd think everyone was judging you in their bmws etc so would always have to show them that it wasnt a little 1.2 girls car by accelerating hard and suprising them that it had civic type r levels of acceleration. the even funnier thing was i had a tuned gc8 impreza turbo import before and when i told my girlfriend at the time i'd bought a new car and it was a clio she thought i'd suffered a head injury somewhere along the line. when i took her out in it and showed her the handling and acceleration she couldnt believe it.

I found your channel / subbed when you got the most recent e36 drift car (thanks to recommended). Pretty sure iv watched all your videos since. Besides the corsas that's an insane amount of "good cars". Think you are in a really good place atmo with the e46 m3, hope to see it more in future videos, even if it is just it getting smeared in peanut butter. :)
Loved this video mate. Very interesting history. I reckon I've got about ten years on you age wise and you put me to shame lol. Mind you, I had an ep82 Starlet Turbo for about 6 years so that soaked up a good bit of my potential for having other cars. Interesting vid mate, same for your French road trip story too. I’m pretty happy with my car history. I’ve always been into cars but never had the money to learn and buy a car until I was 23. You can never change what your first car was so it had to be something special, and it ended up being what I’d always wanted as my first car - a classic Mini. It wasn’t particularly fast (998cc) but it was super fun to drive - especially round corners on sticky Yoko A032s. Still have that car 8 years later.
I managed to kill the engine block though so stuck it in the garage pending a rebuilt engine. Spent quite a bit of time getting around via public transport and walking but I was getting fed up with that, so saved up and bought an E46 325i for £1,500. It was nice to be in a comfortable car and MPG was fine at about 29-30, but it was constantly burning oil. I’d spent a lot of money replacing various bits to get it to stop but ended up resigned to the fact that it was probably the oil control rings on the pistons. It also developed a major coolant leak. Ended up selling it for spares or repairs for £500.
I now have an E46 330Ci in Mystic Blue. Fantastic car. One step down from the M3 in terms of performance but also cost. Loving this thing. Went to Nurburgring in the summer with barely a hitch - just developed a speed sensor issue after a massively heavy downpour at Brunchen.

Actually watched the whole thing, cool car history! So far im 19 and have had my first car, a mk4 golf GTTDI 110 for the past year that keep almost selling to buy something more exciting, but cant bring myself to sell my "good car" lol. So instead im spending my earnings from a part time job on mods while im at uni. Also im amazed at the cars you managed to insure at the ages you were, with the mods etc. Anyways, Love the channel, and genuinely laughed at "where are my dogs?! probably shouldve called before i left". Keep the great content coming!
As if you bought the Audi from Weymouth, I grew up and lived there for 20 years, now I live about 5 miles away. Love the videos man, keep them coming, I'm currently in the process of building an eg shell up with a b20 vtec, you've definitely persuaded me to save up and go k swap asap!

Great vid bud, oddly therapeutic, you've had some sweet machines in your time, was interesting to hear about them.
Boringly enough, just installed a fix for the floaty EPS on my 7th gen Civic, caster increase bushings and Todd's caster plates. Still maybe not as good as many cars out there, but makes a ton of difference over stock.

loved my saxo VTR, was my first car and had it for 4 years and it was brilliant, hardly went wrong even with all the abuse.
Right there with you on the e39, I think it's the best car BMW have ever built, I've had three, 523i, 525i, 530d, dream car is the m5 though! Currently rolling round in an E60 525d m sport it's good but not as good! (Lots of electrical issues!)
First car: 2000 Ford Focus 2.0 petrol, then I got a 1993 Honda concerto 1.6i-16 122hp. recently sold the Focus and replaced it with a 1999 UKDM DC2 Integra Type R

You definitely need to get an e39 at some point, best overall car I've driven! Though the 528i which I daily doesn't feel fast by modern standards.

My car history is quite dull and so small compared to this - MK5 Escort (written off at a cruise after someone crashed into me), MK5 Escort (Cossie wide arched, RS2000 bits, stripped - which was the plan since i was a little boy) - Subaru Impreza UK Turbo GC8. This is over 13 years, and I still have the second wide arched Escort in storage since i bought the scooby 10 years ago....
I bought my first car 3 1/2 years ago at 33 years of age, because I didn't need one before and when I switched careers and was studying i could not afford one. Since then I've owned 4 and currently have 2. It's not that I'm as happy to swap as Dan is, i become quite attached to my rides, I'm just shit at buying cars.

Nice video @dannydc2. Man you actually owned a lot of cars. I'm 27 and I only owned 2 cars and that is because I crashed my first one. Btw I am actually thinking of buying a Clio RS 2nd phase seems like a very nice hot hatch.

my previous jdm dc2 was christened "Best Car" by some unknown person who had written it on the roof on the morning dew that I discovered when I went to get in it while it was parked out on the street outside the girlfriends, she thought I did it....miss that car.

how you got insured on these cars as a young driver I do not know. I've had my Corsa D for nearly a year and have been looking at MK2 golf GTIs but they're about £3k for me to insure in Sheffield :(

My grandad also used to have a green e36 328i and that was a sick car, I don't have any photos of it but he now has a e46 m3 which is nearly the same as yours but with grey interior which I have got photos of

i want to know, what did you think of the ep3 when you owned one, or driven others?
i currently on an ep3, done the basic stuff to it, frsu, intake/exhaust/mapping. and i do enjoy it, but just a few things that irritate me. number 1 would be the numb steering feel. number 2 the way the suspension is setup (macstrut vs double wishbone) and number 3 wheelhop when launching to hard.
i now have to make the choice, do i go all out and buy coilovers, lsd etc for the ep. or do i go back to a dc2/eg, or maybe some other car you recommend?
what did you think handling wise on track vs other cars of the ep3?
good base to build further for a daily and casual trackdays?

Lol Legend, when I was alot younger I had a 1.6i cavalier with a 2l 8v sri 130 lump. I got followed at night by a unmarked e39 & made the same mistake as you! I was showing about 120 when U got blue lighted! lol you live & learn.

Jus watched this all the way through good to know I'm not the only one who thought corsa c's were the shit when younger also had one used to go to the corsac-uk meets actually just brought an sri for the mrs as her first car and after a long string of vws just brought a corsa b 1.6 sport for a laugh and it actually puts a smile on me face due to the memories more then anything as it's fucking terrible lol.
