There's a time to sell, and a time to buy! After two big shows deplete my inventory, it's time to restock in a shopping marathon, and Luke's T&C Flea Market is the place to do it. So let's go shopping!
There's lots of antiques, collectibles and vintage at this general flea market, sprinkled amongst everything from baby bunnies to 1920s furniture. This is one of three big flea markets here annually, and we're taking advantage of the fact that antique and vintage sellers from four states
have brought it all to us here at home!
We start in the market's permanent building, where a retiring antique dealer is having a huge 50% off all inventory! We find a scarce Russel Wright white clover pitcher, then fill three boxes with everything from elegant glass to Josef Figurines a big Moon & Stars canister for under $100 total.
Then its off to the outdoor and shed dealers, where a Peter Pan Peanut Butter tin (yes, it came in a can back then) delights us with its 1950s graphics, a bank poses as a miniature mailbox and a whole lot of other fun flea-market priced vintage and antique goods send us on more than one trip to schlep them back to the van. Lots of fun, and lots more shopping to come in our next video about this shopping marathon!

When I go to outdoor flea market , I love the sellers that have an eclectic mixture of items for sale. I notice that people who have a speciality have the highest prices. I am enjoying the virtual shopping with both of you.
Agree Stacey!! But I don't mind paying up for a well curated booth sometimes...you might enjoy my recent video at an antique market. I'm always searching for kindred spirits who might like my channel LOL!

@@TheAntiqueNomadLive when you do your live appraisals, have you ever thought of adding a twist? Challenge people to bring an extremely unusual treasure to the show, for the sole purpose of “stumping “ you. You can call it “stump the appraiser” or “stump me if you can”. It’s not likely someone could do so, but if they did, they most certainly would be rewarded. It wouldn’t diminish your impeccable appraising status because it is just a game.

I see a little “scutch ice” can!
My mom had a picnic set since at least the ‘50’s that included a large insulated plastic “basket” and several of those ice cans. They were always in our freezer. Every weekend, my mom packed the whole thing with our lunches to take to the beach!

I get frozen with fear of saying the wrong thing about an item and I'm not photographic but I can see how peoples' comments could help if I were to ever figure out the cameras and how to broadcast. You guys all make it look so easy and fun and I know it's alot of fun work! I wish I lived closer to you all just so I could follow you around and learn

Hi George & Zeno. I'm glad you found treasures in the bldg. Looks like they put out fresh merch since i was there. I got some good buys. Didn't make it to the flea for memorial day. Maybe i will labor day. I'm gonna try my hardest to come to your sale june 24 & 25. I'll be setting up @ finders keepers outdoor sale on june 24.

Is the Midland, Michigan show an annual event?
@@twistoffate4791 Midland is twice a year - first weekend of June and last weekend of September. Large show at the Midland County Fairgrounds- inside several buildings and outside. It’s a good one. June’s show also featured a large car show and market.

I have a miniature deck of cards (Peanuts' Snoopy theme) & mine & the deck you just found are the only ones I've seen. I really liked that doll-size organ stool you put back. (And I loved those little bunnies in that carrier.) Thanks to Xeno for saying you were in Greenville, KY, because sometimes that piece of key info is on the video description page, but sometimes it's not & I would love for it to always appear there (and sometimes I'm a slacker lol & do not hear you say in the beginning what location you're shopping that day).
Those Peanuts cards are cool, I wish I'd known they were so scarce! I debated on the organ stool. I like it when we think to repeat where we are as people join the broadcasts, we're getting more used to going live

xeno…best left off camera as much as possible …top knots and white head bands went out in the 80’s. Ideally, keep him at home😅😅😅😅😅😊🎉🎉, and find a younger fresh person to hold your camera!!
