Lovely finds; I have a similar set of the salt and pepper shakers on display in my dining room. Thank you for your Memorial Day tribute, and especially the biblical reference. Our nation been amazingly blessed by the Lord as we have also had so many in our country give their lives for its freedoms that we are privileged to experience every day.
Thank you for the journey and especially the tribute at the end. I had an uncle who didn't make it home from the war. Makes me wonder how my grandparents felt when told.

Toaster at 4:45 and before the spoon...its taller than you would think
Nothing they have is junk,because everything had a purpose and usually hand made. But they started shopping and traveling and working outside their communities, so they started buying ,more modern items.
I noticed many items that probably had been purchased, in more modern times.
I actually don't like it,when people indirectly try to act superior to the AMISH OR MENONITES.
I MET A FAMILY ON AMTRACK GOING TO PENN.THE FATHER WAS VERY friendly, but the females were quiet.
I have been blessed to have met a few Amish families, in traveling because they do travel,mostly by train.but occasionally, I have met families in airports.
They have always bern.very nice, but private.
Junk is an endearing word to pickers. Most of the vendors were just resellers that go to all the flea markets in the area.

Gina Maria ABSOLUTELY, animal cruelty is criminal. Watch “Horse Plus Humane Society”
From Tennessee,& see some of their work horses that come through auctions that House Plus purchase to rehabilitate them & keep them from going through the “horse meat pipe line “ to Mexico. Some of those “ discarded” old “ Draft horses “ are absolutely pitifully broken down, blind,& all kinds of abuse. My opinion of this is IT IS CRIMINAL! Just sayin’. Typo Horse Plus NOT “ house plus”

The day I was there it was so cold and windy, but it didn’t stop me from enjoying every moment.

Now they know money back in the 80s I used to go to Pennsylvania Amish community I be buying goodies for 10 cent time change
It seems many items were bought or brought from the original Amish,Dutch/German countries.
I have studied the Amish for years,as I respect their traditional religious, peaceful life.
I use to think,they made everything from dishes to furniture, then a change started,when they began to move into modern lifestyle.
I still respect them and have even tried to simplify my life, to match theirs.
I have been through Lancaster,Penn and even to a few Amish stores, but never a flea market.but I do.I will definitely look for quilts.
I was surprised to see this video, because, I didn't think,even in 2023,the Amish allow outsiders into their actual communities.
I suppose, even they have hard times.

That shoe thing whatever you call it with the knob on it if you turned it and nailed it or screwed it to a board that knob on the bottom you can hang your aprons from it hang anything from a dog leashes what-have-you would be really cool
You never say what town or state you’re flea market is Amish make the best wooden furniture and houses like cabins and tiny homes

I went to flea marrket/auction in Shipawenna Indiana. I found nothing like you had at yours. I am a stitcher so i always look at textiles. I collect red and blue transfer ware.

What fun! So many treasures it must have been hard to choose. I guessed right on all your purchases except I thought you'd bring that pretty little chair home! And I didn't remember the teacup, so you fooled me with that! And I thought you might get the seed corn bag, but I decided you wouldn't - too bright and specific a pattern/design on the front. Cute though!

@ 4:51 and 4:52 was an old toaster like my grandmother had at her house with the fold down sides...I'm now almost 80 on September 1st....so if you can still get it, it is can antique...it did have a cord, even then ..ha ha

So this is a regular flea market because half the stuff I see the Amish wouldn't even own like all those ornate plates.
The Amish host the flea market on their property and there are lots of different vendors selling. The Amish make all the food and lots of handmade goods as well.

That lady's jar that she asked you about, was probably an old glass coffee jar or a hoosier jar. I have one that looks like that, 2 lb capacity. Great flea market! Great finds!

I just have to stop watching this. It’s so irritating that the person videoing has to touch everything. If you’re going to pick it up and look it over or something then there’s a reason to touch it, but just to touch everything? It’s so irritating!

I was noticing some red and green glasses etc. as you filmed the stalls and started wondering when you begin planning for Christmas? In my opinion, your 2022 display was a masterpiece. Will you stay with this scheme or will it be something different?
Either way, it’s still only half-way through the year and I know the influencers of the US still have the 4th of July and Autumn to plan before thinking of Christmas.
