Yes you put colored lamp oil in them and add a wick to light....they are so pretty for the holiday, those are so pretty.
I did that once and was never able to get the color stain from the oil all out. What do you use?

I love using a mix of both, but knowing I have the fake ones to pop around and forget about is the best!

I was born in Midland, live in Illinois now. I would love to move back someday. I have my grand daughters here so will stay for now.
The rain probably has ruined a lot. Many items look like they have rusted from weather over years. Hope you don't get sick from the rain.
Prices were high much metal.
Didn’t see many dishes or art. Or books.
I just gave away a collection of cloth pumpkins in every color and material. Had remorse.
Also Santa Clauses and much holiday decorations. Like your mother. Becoming more simplistic.
An hour after I gave away.I had remorse, because some.I had really collected over time. But older and need to get rid of much.
Family doesn't want.so had to make decisions for my best.
Years of accumulation. Generations of heirlooms. But just have to downsize. I would have bought those brushes and whisk brooms.

That one was metal.so maybe Early American. But North West or Northern USA

Wow what a wood lovers dream! So much wood, if be in paradise🤤The copper was amazing too! Wow.. This is A wood lovers paradise😍 Lots of gorgeous frames! The small pictures your mom pointed out in the gold frames.. I have the one on the right in a 11×14..i would love to have all 3 of those! The regency/Victorian era art is my fav to collect! Love the glass door knobs! Lots of awesome kitchen things as well. The large bird cage was really pretty! I have one on my hunt/wish list😉 They're so pretty with a little vignette In them. Oh I've never seen a brass stool.. gorgeous!! I love little stools. I see people with the sock dryers hanging on peg racks, especially in the laundry room or bedroom. Oh my the minature or childs Victorian sofa was stunning❤ The animal pieces are "melted plastic popcorn art". They're from 1950-1970's.. they were a big thing in my childhood, in the 70's! The school rooms were always decorated with them. I really want to collect children's antique shoes, & maybe other clothes & things.. the gloves were precious😊 Loved all the enamel wear & chamber pots..i want a white one with the red ring around the edge, like my old granny had! Ohh i agree, that fountain was beautiful❤ How cool was the bassinet?! Loved the dress form, very different. Literally EVERYBODY has gone wild over the campfire marshmallow tin, thats the going price unless you get lucky🫤 Lol I bet people were screaming when you put it back down😄 There were lots of great tins there! I had the white bassinet like that one for my son.. it was nice for having him in the living room. Of course the ones they have now are very nice, my sons baby had one. I agree, the strone & iron sconces were stunning!❤ I have a larger one of the little angel wall vases, i love it! I want one of the Victorian tapestries! I saw someone just the other day that bought one in a huge frame & hung it over their bed & they had just painted the walls a beautiful dark green..i fell in love!!🤤 I like the old bean pots, great price on they one!! The glass candle sticks are beautiful, i would do google Lens on them to find out more about them! Cool basket, and pumpkins! I love cloches also, that one is really pretty! So is the bowl & book ends. You should do google Lens on it.. its the best tool to have if you love to collect old things!! Love the bible, i collect old bibles, Sarasota isn't far from me! I love the old spools too & they're wood!😊 I have a little collection of sewing things to go with my antique black & gold singer machine. Obsessed with that gorgeous Victorian tin❤ You do so well with self control! I wouldn't do well.. at all🫣😄 Where exactly was this festival? If I ever have the chance i'd love to go! I've seen many shared, but i wanted everything this one had!! Like I said, a wood lovers paradise😍 TFS!

LOVE the Midland Antique Sale! We used to be vendors there but took a couple of years off. We have been thinking about going back now that things are slowing down on our end. I have the same alabaster bowl. It would have originally had four little birds that fit in the tiny holes on top of the bowl. I paid $27 for mine so i think you did good 😊

Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…
Seems vendors are use to rain.many had covered tents.

Omg all of those vintage pieces getting wet. 😮looked like the furniture was getting wet too even though it was under the canopy. I saw the date stamp was 2023 at the beginning great release for fall being around the corner. 12:15 we had those as kids ❤

High prices. Not all antiques but vintage but lots of mid century and faux vintage

This was in September last year, I put a banner with the date in the first scene because I figured that would throw everyone off 😆 I had a room makeover vidoe planned for this week, but I’m waiting on approval from the sponsor before I can upload that, hopefully next week! Figured I could share all this footage that I never got around to posting last year. It was a fun flea market day!

Not getting that marshmallow tin was probably a mistake if you were to resell you could probably get three times that much I would probably say your candlestick holders are for a floating candle wick I've seen things like that in mid-century
I don’t resell and it’s not really something I would decorate with at the moment. Yes, I too believe they look mcm, I like how simple they are.

Yep, that’s what we figured! I probably won’t use them as that, but I just love how simple they are. They look beautiful displayed at Christmas time.

Oh neat! I’m sure I can find it online, but to be honest, I won’t use them with oil. I just like displaying them as is, they’re so pretty.

Alabaster is softer then marble and can even be scratched with a fingernail.
