If you paint chair the exact brown color as that penholder thing - it would look great together! And brown is more earthy than black! I have the same penholder. Love it. 8:19
You always find really nice things! My all time favorite is the brass horse, but as for this video the ceramic vase was totally worth the price and effort and I loved the wood desk organizer for your daughter new refinished desk, which looks wonderful!
i just got that same mail sorter this past week too! I love items that can be used in many rooms. I have a weakness for ducks and odd little decor items, so I loved the duck! Good pick!
Hi Tasha! What's there not to like! I love your videos and have been watching each and every one of them as they keep coming up in my feed. Your ideas are mostly so simple so elegant and I absolutely love your styling. Love from India❤❤❤
I get so much inspiration from your videos: from upcycling thrift finds, restyling my existing decor with paint techniques, and ideas for color and texture pairings. I love the simplicity and natural touches in your decor.
Great finds and DIYs! The vase turned out great. Definitely giving high end vibes. Love the duck!! He’s got so much character. Much better than a new mass produced one ☺️
Hi our Tasha I enjoyed this video so so much. You have so much talent. Our Goodwill never ever has the kinds of things yours does. I could have picked out so much stuff, but I don’t need another thing . I loved the pie plate and probably would not have used it for that, but maybe added my white gourd I grew in my garden. My husband has this thing about coolers 😂and we have one of every size. He too, picked up one like yours cheap. I loved that duck..so much character. You did a great job on the desk technique and glad you out the brass knob on for a high end look. I am sure she loved it and the organizer is so pretty. I could not have left that pot either. You brought it to another level. I learned how to do that from you, but have not found one like that. The old metal box looked great styled with the books. You so deserve that gorgeous olive tree . Thanks Tasha. Hoping you feel well. ❤❤❤❤
OK that Vase is just amazing , you really took it to another level when you painted it 👏👏👏 I Love it , it looks old and so beautiful ❤ And I like that olive tree , it looks so natural 👍 I always admire whatever you do , you have a great taste and style . Thank you dear for sharing your precious videos 🙏
This video was a trifecta!!! First, the duck was quite the find … loved the authenticity of it! Second, the olive tree looks great in your daughter’s room, especially in the scalloped-rim planter and against the rainbow mural!! Third, the diy of the vessel looks so good and realistic!!! You are fun, intriguing, and inspirational to watch😊
Great finds!! I love the duck so much! You did a beautiful job on the vase. It has great character and I like your choice of paint for it so much. It is ready for every season.
My favorite channel hands down. You have great taste and such a creative touch. The budget is *chef’s kiss*. Thank you for sharing your talent with us!
Thank you so much! I chose 6 pastel paints and bought sample sizes from Lowes. Then I used a thumb tack at the bottom center of the wall and tied a string to it. I used a pencil, tied to the string, to trace a perfect arch for the bottom of the rainbow. Then I moved the pencil down the string some and traced the arch for the next stripe up, and so on. Then I painted over each pencil arch wispily and imperfectly with never a lot of paint on the brush. I made sure to account for space in between each rainbow stripe. That's basically it!
Tasha, I cannot say enough about how glad I am to have found your channel! You are really developing and refining it to be on par with a professional level medium. You have talent and you know exactly what sort of things you want in your home. You aren’t distracted by things that are pretty and a good price. If it doesn’t fit your ambience and can’t be diy’ed, you don’t get it!
@@TashaatHome no, I had to lightly sanded it (with the help of my dad who was an expert on stuff like that). There was chipped/gunky paint in spots and there was water rings on the top. It looks so much better now. ☺️
I really enjoyed the video, liked and subscribed. Love all your diy’s everything turned out beautiful! I challenge you to a diy? Making those decorative boxes, maybe out of cardboard? Something that anyone could do. Chances of finding the same thing at a thrift store is nearly impossible. I would love to make some!
Thanks so much! 😊 I may try that but I'm the meantime I did recover an old utensil storage box in this McGee & Co dupe video: ruclips.net/video/Y5WtypgwSno/видео.html which you might be interested in! You could use this treatment on any box you find 😊
WOW Tasha, great finds!! The vase had great bones but once you finished it, oh my goodness, it was beautiful!! I can see that being sold in highend stores for a rather hefty price. I like the way you styled your items and I thought your daughters room was just so sweet. 😊 I am so sorry, I just realized that I actually had never subscribed to your channel. I don't know how I missed that. I am now a new subie!! 😀
You are so talented and give so much inspiration. Thank you. They all are my fav. When I get distracted from you tube for while I always make sure to catch up on your channel. ☺️. How often would you say that you do go to the thrift stores a week? Just wondering I would like to go once or twice a week and I think is that too much. Lol. Stay home and put out this things you’ve already purchased. Haha. I love Thrifting 😂
Thank you so much! For a "regular person" I think once a week is totally good! For me I do need to go more often in order to keep up content and ideas for the channel so I'm in thrift stores multiple times a week 😋
Tasha, what was the link for the olive tree? I’m afraid I didn’t see it in the description box. Oh, and I love that you include the passage from Rev 3 ❤
Understandable! Personally I like the contrast of the grown up black with the girly light colors 😊 There are a few black touches on the other side of the room too which help tie things together.
Hey Tasha….are you in the Raleigh area? If yes, I’ll be there in a couple of weeks for a concert and would love to know your top 3 thrift store suggestions that I should stop by. Thank you!!🤞
I wish people would stop doing that 60's "Antique Finish". It's so ugly. It was ugly in the 60s and it's ugly now especially when people do it on top of REAL WOOD.
Your daughter’s room is lovely!

Pottery turned out awesome! I would move the pumpkin candle and use an object like magnifying glass or leave it plain. ❤
That desk is absolutely precious 🥰
Thanks so much, I love it too!
I love the rainbow in your daughters bedroom. The desk and chair are beautiful.
Thank you! 🤗
I was inspired by you to make a faux tree using a branch from outside and faux leaves I already had!!! FREEEEE! Thank you for your inspiration 🤩
Wonderful! Free is the best!! I'm so glad it worked out. Email me a picture if you'd like to share! (Email is in description box.)

That "antler velvet" color really is the perfect neutral. You influenced me to try it and I love it. Thank you!
I'm so glad! 😊 Thanks for watching!
I love the vase. I’ve got a white one from Target that I’m going to try this on!
Yay! I hope you love it 😊
Hi Tasha 👋
Love the vessel 🤎 the pie dish was pretty too.
Would 🤎 a full home tour 😉
Thank you! Maybe before too long 😀
You always find good pillows! I have a hard time with those 😅
Me too actually. I think pillows are easy to get close but hard to get perfect!
