@@TashaatHome Ive purchased those before and removed the stem and pulled out the acrylic and just filled with normal water to still have the look and it always turns out great! Just an idea if you ever want to stems or the vesil.
I am always excited to see you have posted a new video. I love your style and how you see the things you thrift as what they could be. Love your channel. Thanks❤️
Hi Tasha ❤, love your thrift haul..you always find the nicest things. Am I sad wishing Autumn would hurry up??? Love decorating my house for Autumn 🍁🍁🍁my favourite time of year!!! Xxx
I know! I am trying not to rush it and savor the end of summer. (You can tell I'm not a "real" influencer because all the real ones have decorated for fall already and have a video about it) :)-
Love you vids, I like when you pass things you dont need at the moment we tend to buy things sometimes with no place for them, I’m gonna try to be more like you 😊👏🏽👍🏽
Yes we have them. But we been them so when finished you just push them back down you can try some but we do in England they are the same but it’s what is easier for you x. I love the table x
This is so cool! I’ve never really been a thrifter, but I want to start trying due to how expensive everything is right now. I’m excited to start this weekend 😊
You found some great things! My ears perked up when you said the Durham rescue mission thrift store! It’s on my list to do when I’m in Raleigh next. I live about an hour from there.
YAY ! Hi Tasha 👋 I hope you are feeling better !? ❤ The frame & print & green vessel! I seen a similar bed tray today while thrifting , but wondered if it was necessary ? I ended up passing on it as well.
I'm feeling a good bit better now, thank you! No bed trays for us this week I guess 😊 I just know we wouldn't use it but possibly once a year or something.
Idea…..those shades can be cut down and they make great table/console runners and placemats…I love the ones I’ve done for our home. Your channel is growing quickly, congratulations!!
I love anything old & made of wood. The little box was a nice little piece. Its possible the orchid piece is a bit older, not vintage, but the resin or material has discolored maybe 🤷♀️ I really liked the large piece of art, i love the Amish country, its such beautiful country! Wow.. pricing an item separately because it comes in sections if kinda crazy😄 That's A good deal on the bed trays. I had one that wasn't as nice as those & it was $5 or $6 at the thrift store. Ohh Wow.. the frame is gorgeous!! Not my style of art either, so I'd remove it too. It would depend on the art as to what i would do with the matting or if i used the glass. Love the art piece you chose.I love how the mod podge technique makes a print look so much like a real oil painting. I've thrifted serval old books, several Currier & Ives, there's a couple on antiques, and a few other ones, that i bought mainly for the beautiful pictures. I've framed a couple of smaller ones but haven't framed a larger one yet, i got the wrong mod podge🙄 I think its satin finish or something. I would probably use antiquing wax on the frame to make it look older & tone the gold down. It turned out very beautifully & looks nice were you decided to put it! I do like the gray/black vase, has that primitive which I like! I always grab cutting boards if they're priced right, and any other kitchen items made of wood. Enjoyed todays video..TFS😊
Thanks so much Tammy! Your various finds sound great 😃 And the matte mod podge works best for the "painting" look. I do love this frame so much though 😍 I may go back over it lightly with some antiquing wax and make it look more aged and see how I like that.
I simply put them through a hot washer cycle; I have done this with inserts and covers alike. However at this point I usually am only using the covers and have my own inserts.
Hi our Tasha....How are you? I keep seeing people ask how you are and if you are feeling better. I hope it is nothing serious . I loved what you did with the beautiful gold frame. I dod not care for the original picture, but remember that used to be a popular print. It is funny about the prices...that little green vase is unique ,but the same aa the larger on that was sixty four dollars..loved both. I have seem those bed trays too. I dont think I want breakfast or dinner in bed and usually if I am sick enough to be in bed I probably dont want much to eat. Take care Tasha. I have started on two bedrooms and so far think they would be Tasha approved. I have a question. We redid all the wood floors in pur house except our bedroom. I guess because we jad our furniture in there right after we moved in. In that room the roof had leaked and ugly red carpet was glued to the floor. The floor was extremely marred , deeply scratched and a general mess. It is about a four foot by three foot section. Could I use a hand sander like you have to fix that one section. When you rent the big ones they leave dust all over the house no matter what you do. I woukd like to at least make it look better. Thanks Tasha❤❤❤❤
I'm doing a bit better now thank you! I had a flare up of what I now know is dysautonomia that really threw me for a loop for a month and a half. I agree about the bed tray. I love the idea I just don't think we'd actually use it and I've been trying to purge already. Regarding your floor, I'm definitely not an expert on that. I think personally for a smallish spot like that I'd probably give it a try if it were me though 🤔 maybe starting very slowly and making sure I was holding the sander very flat and evenly. That doesn't mean it's best practice though haha!
@@TashaatHome Oh Tasha , I am so sorry. You need to stay out of the heat and rest. You will be in my prayers. I will try the sander. It can not hurt! ♡♡♡
All epoxies yellow overtime even those that say they will never yellow they do! They did not put a dye in it or anything. It just happens overtime! It would’ve been easier to just put plain water and the flowers to make it more realistic happy hunting and thank you for sharing.
Well they weren't really "staples" but I didn't know what else to call them. They were those little straight flat pieces that are just sort of tacked in. They couldn't be bent without popping out. 😊
The fame and the picture turned out beautifully. Watching your channel is such a treat can’t hit that play button fast enough!
You're too kind 😊
Color wash faux flowers! I love the idea
Contrasting art on the same wall!
Enjoyed the mod podge trick on picture
The little green vase will look great with long matches in it for lighting candles in the Autumn 🍁.
Great idea!!
I get so excited when I see you have a new video out! Thanks for making such beautiful content 💕
Yay! Thank you!
The orchid water would not be yellow. The acrylic has just yellowed over time. It would have originally been clear.
See that's what I thought. Boy it really yellowed 😬

Those bed trays are good for when any family member is sick with the flu. Good for serving hot tea & chicken noodle soup.
Or kids working on legos or crafts
As always, your content is on point 🔥 all of your ideas and diy’s look so effortless 😩🤩
Thank you so much!!
Hi Tasha! My daughter who is 8 years and i loved your videos. She says you are very talented. I completely agree with her!

Love that frame
Brown divided bowl. My mother had pieces of this. Great dishes.
The gloden wall art looks great.
The gray jug vase looks incredibly high-end. Thank you for not repainting it.
Glad you like it!

Yes, I have to be honest with myself haha!
I've used the Modge Podge method. Works well.
Yes we have them. But we been them so when finished you just push them back down you can try some but we do in England they are the same but it’s what is easier for you x. I love the table x
Don't you just love it when you find deals? I do. You found some neat stuff. Love the frame redo and the vase.
Love the frame picture and the black vase. Nice items you bought.

Love all your selections, especially the vintage frame.

Wow Tasha! The picture in the gorgeous frame is so,pretty! The vase is cool too! ❤❤
Thank you so much 🤗
Again great eye for great pieces. Your style is so pretty
Thank you so much!
Love that black vase and what a steal❤
Love the blue vase. Nice shape.
It's a special talent you have for sure. I can wander thru for hours and have no idea what to do with anything I see
You're too kind!
Some epoxy resins can yellow over time. Only guess I have for the yellow water in the vase.

Did u put a glass back over the print, I have something similar and not sure if I should put the glass back over it or not, great finds!
Since I wanted a faux painting look I didn't put the glass back on 😊
@@TashaatHome Thanks was thinking as much, but value your opinion , you're so good at these things!
Loved everything. 😊
Thank you!! 😊
Love, love your videos!!!😊

Nice finds
Tasha this bread cloche on 1:13 min, cost $160 . Its great to bake a sourdough bread ! You should of grab it !
It was beautiful❤
Interesting!! I go past that store again tomorrow. I'll see if it's still there 😀 (but probably not haha)
@@TashaatHome it made in France specialy for bread bake ! I have one and bake with crunchy crust ! 😋😋
I wondered what that was.
I really like your decor taste 😊
Thank you!! 😊
Nice items. How do you clean the pillow? Is the cover removable?
Thanks! Yes the cover is removable and I just put it and any inserts I plan to keep through a hot wash cycle in the washer!
Love it
Thanks!!
The acrylic will sometimes yellow with age
You could’ve put the glass in the back of the frame to hold the cardboard and hold on to the glass safely just in case you needed it later.
I usually do just that!
The orchid water is resin and it yellows over time
Nice!
Can you talk about how you sanitize your pillows? I get tempted but that always weirds me out.

What do you use to disinfect your cutting boards after sanding them?
I rub a lemon half over them and let that sit a minute, then wash it with regular water and dish soap ☺️
❤
The orchid water started out clear, but overtime with age it yellows.
It changes color over time. I had one like that .
I couldn’t get the stems to come up on amazon
Sorry about that! It's fixed now. They are here: amzn.to/4dfC3hq
I'm shocked that the stores write the prices on items directly in marker
Baskets are expensive in stores
Yes they sure are!

Why take the staples out just bend them up the side of the frame everything will just lift out x

Good Will is so overpriced in our area of Southern California, I do t even go there now
😭 what a shame!
Some things are over priced
