The reason that 4-pad system exists is for speedstacking, which is actually what every model of stackmat timer's been designed for. The governing body for cup stacking has changed up some rules and now the 4-pad system is required for them.
Cubers don't need to worry about this, the G5's 2-pad mode is there entirely so that it can still be sold to speedcubers, and the WCA is not interested in using the 4-Pad system.
What exactly is the deal with the resolve part? What needs to be under 0.06 seconds? Can you explain that to me? Like what is making there be a resolve

@@Yusufofistanbul late reply but basically, timers can have a malfunction where they stop before 0.006 seconds, now why is 0.006 seconds important? well thats the minimum time you can record on it as a normal human being (you can try to get the lowest time by rapidly putting your hands up and down and you'll never get under 0.006), so when in competition, a time below 0.006 is recorded, its 99% because of a timer malfunction and you get a resolve since it was not your fault, but sometimes you can force it out and as dylan did in the video, the g5's have a huge problem of this.

I bought the WRM as a replacement cube for my Gan 11 M Pro (RIP 🤧). I really enjoy the cube on slightly lower magnet settings with a controlling lube. While it is a really good cube, it doesn’t compare the the Gan 11. You can really tell the difference without the corner to core magnets. The WRM is very good for performing RUF sequences with your thumb and pointer finger as well as RUD sequences. The main drawback with out the corner core magnets is that doing the F’ at the end of Y perm with your left hand pointer is much harder on this cube than the Gan 11. Having the Gan 11 really helped me practice this finger trick. Hope this helped.

For those who wonder how he was able to get the 0.039s time, I think he moved his thumb very slightly before lifting his hand. This caused the timer to start and stop very quickly.

Well if you've actually solved the 1x1, the solve should still count. Otherwise, you'd get a resolve. I'm sure the WCA would have something to say when the 1x1 becomes an official event.

Wrm 2021 has some problem about magnetic and coner. If you lucky you can get a good cube.
But the tonardo v2 doesn't have any problem. It 's good,smoth and quite so you should get the tonardo v2

For the O2 cube, there are 24 states, but only 5 types of state.
1 of them is the solved state
6 of them can be solved with quarter slice turn
3 of them with a double slice turn
8 with two quarter slice turns
6 with one quarter and one half slice turn

The megaminx's visible colors maybm be an advantage if you are a casual solver but it's most likely not comp legal.

The O2 is literally a 1x1 in a coloured box. The only moves you can do are rotations. Puzzles must be being randomly generated for that to exist.

super late but I think he would use redux because centers multiply exponentially more than edges and yau has slower centers but faster edges which is worse when you have more centers

For starters, I recommend the NEX cube from Moyu. In Romania its 50Lei, thats 10 USD. Turns very well for a cube without magnets.Recommended
