This $1 rubik cube is 10000000x better that any rubik I bought when I was a kid. You couldn't spin it without grabbing a face with your whole hand lol.

Still have and use it to this day. Probably not the greatest or flashiest cube out there, but I feel like it's got a lot of mojo, I guess you could say. Haha.
If you do wanna get into cubeing but dont like the look of stickerless cubes, i suggest either the rs3m 2020 or meilong mfjs 3x3 2020 with lube service for around 15 bucks with shipping. The colors and turning are both amazing and a (no matter what everyone says is ugly about it) a pretty cool blue cube stand. The stickers are nice and strudy and it has the best feeling turning ive ever felt.
