It may be a pain in the ass, but it's called "bonding". Love it, nice job. I got lucky and just found an '06 with only 3,000 miles, my second Nomad, they're great bikes!
Get that beast out on the highway! You are going to love going down the road on that bad boy. It looks beautiful. You did a very nice job cleaning it up. I have ALOT of envy.
Alan sterling I would have to be riding dirty...registration is the next hurdle. California wants either an arm or a leg, I haven’t decided which I want to give up yet.

You found a time capsule! Low miles on a touring bike, enjoy it.

Awesome detailing Job !!! Looks Great !!!
Thank you, I am not a good detail guy but this bike makes it easy.
My windshield on my nomad looked like that. I wet sanded with 2000 grit and polished it like you’d do with paint. It came out crystal clear.
My son did that with a sport bike shield. You’re right, it works great.
Love my mean streak 1600. 2007. 9k miles! It's a torque monster
Those always looked like awesome bikes, I gotta ride one some day.
Looks great Tom,, that is a very nice one..
Thank you, it turned out pretty good.
“This… uhh pile of crap, goes up into those bolt holes…”
Hahaha
I’m eloquent! 😂😀
My nomad won’t go past 80mph is there like a speed limiter on it???
@@rayslife4k I don’t believe so? I didn’t ride this one outside of the neighborhood before selling it.
Have the vn2000 have good polishing skills not so much mechanical good video 🇦🇺
We could dominate together! 😂
Keep it running great !!! Run Ethanol free and a shot of Stabil.
Ethanol free can be found where I live but it’s really rare.
I think you should keep it Tom..
I'm planning to sell it, but might hold onto it a bit before that. I just need a bigger garage.
@@TomsTinkeringandAdventures I understand BUT I think it would be nice for you to keep..
