Hello there, it's March 2024 and I just got my 2004 Vulcan 1500 out of the shop. It's the biggest bike I've ever owned and it feels like it runs on rails. It's SO easy to ride, nimble, powerful, and has the comfort of a Cadillac.
Hi @michaelb apologies for the late reply. I no longer have the Vulcan, but I miss it, they are a great bike, a really good all rounder. They are super comfortable, I have Road King now and I'm definitely missing the Vulcan's seat! Thanks for watching!
There really is a severe lack of Japanese cruisers on the market, atleast nothing i would consider a "large" cruiser. Nothing really over 900cc and the current Vulcans are more of a laid back naked bike than a cruiser.
Cheers mate, it is a very smooth ride for sure. You have to be mindful when shifting from 1st to 2nd under alot of power for a smooth change, as you do with most bikes, but every other aspect its a smooth comfy ride 👍
Nice Bike. I had a Vulcan 900 for a short time. I also ride in the cold and the coldest temp I could stand with 'winter' gloves on was 10 F. I had to stop after a few miles and warm up my hands using the exhaust pipe.
VNs are great bikes - Ive had a few and my current one is dragging a sidecar round with it. They are great to work on and the bits are available . Great vid - keep them coming 👍
Good looking bike! I have always liked the Vulcans. Here in California, a lot of people won't ride if it gets slightly chilly, so you would be a tough guy here - not a princess. lol. Alright I am going to leave the most American comment ever - I love your accent. You could talk about the weather all day, and I would listen.
I like your bike it's awesome it's very nice looking it's like a big Harley or something only nice lines my question is you said it's a 1500 but yet it's big and slow and bulky and not fast then why not just go with the 800 then?
It's a Kawasaki Vulcan, the 1500 is much larger than the 800 and I'm tall so this was more comfortable. It's great for long road trips. Thanks for watching
+Ahmad Abram The bags are removable, however it may not have the look you are after. there is a bracket underneath the bags which also supports the exhaust. so with the bags of it can be unsightly
Beautiful bike 👍 Named my bike Diana.... Then got sideswiped by a car. Figured the name was wrong and unlucky 🤣 Now it's just a V-Strom until I change bike at some point 😁
+Go Lesage nice, I think there were very few differences between the 1500 and the 1600. I have kept the passenger boards on, and now I made a larger sissy bar on I put the passenger seat on just so when I loaded it up for a road trip I didn't scratch the rear fender. But I think I'll have to strip it all back again.

They're great bikes. The lack of Japanese Cruisers on the market these days is disappointing.

Great looking bike. Looks and sounds like a very smooth ride.

Hey Buddy! Nice looking bike. Do you still have it? I'm testing a 2000 model tomorrow. Anything I need to look out for? Many thanks!

Cheers mate, some may call it tough, some may call it stupid 🤣 I'm happy to ride in all weather, and lucky enough with heated grips and gloves I can 👍
Cool Vulcan is great bike got couple friends have them 👍👍
They are a great all rounder, they have enough power and get up go to get you into trouble, but comfy and reliable to sit on the highway all day 👍
Sounds like you've had some rad bikes! I'm bad at naming stuff too, I usually just let it come to me... eventually lol
The bikes were all great, I wish I still had them, but sadly I had to let them go 👍
@@BigRobMoto but you probably made others very happy
@@jay34ever54 definitely, every single one of those bikes made me giggle 😁

+Jim Doolan cheers mate, appreciate it 👍
Are the bags removable? I’m considering buying one from a friend but I’m not the biggest fan of the bags for a daily ride
