A year later, but I just now got into Hyperlapse using my Mini 3 Pro, and naturally, RUclips knows about it, and made the connection. Great video. I'll be trying that this evening. Thank you 🙏
Thank you so much sir! I was wondering about the camera settings at night in places like this as I wanted to do a night hyperlapse in a very similar place with my mini 4 pro. Best hyperlapse tutorial ever!
Wow, that’s really interesting. I have a DJI Mini 3 Pro, and just starting night time photography, especially some with hyper lapse. Thanks for sharing your tutorials. ❤👍👍😀
Love this tutorial. Short and to the point, not a lot of extra fluff etc... Definitely SUBCRIBED and I hit the bell. Will be looking for more content from you Sir.
Informative, knowledgeable and straight to the point, just what I was looking for. Long time photographer here, getting into the drone world with the Mini 3 pro... and a new subscriber.
@@cre8tivity06 that’s awesome, I love working on the iPad, the only issue is that the file management sometimes tends to be tricky once you’ve done a lot of of them
@ maybe one day I’ll make a video showing how I do it. The video editing app that I use does have stabilization but it’s not as smooth as say FCP or AE. That’s probably my only gripe when it comes to producing hyper lapses.
Great work! I live in Coral Gables and have been doing timelapses and hyper lapses and drones since 2015. I'd like to come up to you and watch you in action one time. Mostly interested in way points. I use an M3 and LR Timelapse as well as Premiere.
I’m a retired doctor and have plenty of time The weather is good this time of year so any late noon and early evening would be good.weekends better for traffic
Excelente tutorial gracias ! Notas que el rango de la señal es igual o peor que la del mini 2 ? Drone Karens no te fastidian cuando te ven despegar desde sitios tan públicos ?
This was great. I do have one question. I shoot the hyperlapse, follow your steps for LR and then export for Premier Pro. In PP, the sequence has a "pause" corresponding to the drone exposure to time between frames. So, when I play it back, I get a frame, a four second pause, the next frame, etc. The playback time = essentially the time to shoot the hyperlapse. What am I doing wrong? TIA
Hey, great video! Love the shot and scene! Only thing…. Maybe get that audio quality of ur voice some help. Perhaps just some eq, or some kind of effect o clean it up. I don’t know what’s going on with it but it’s off in some way… Love the video tho.
Great night footage! I'd love to see this hyperlapse during the day with ND filter and tilt-shift filter to look like a miniature. Miami looks amazing. Keep up the good work. 🙌
my mini 3 pro hyperlapse DNG photos only 960p when I set it to 4k...but the video it records of the hyperlapse is 4k! Even when putting it into a timeline. Can somebody please tell me what is going on?
While recording a waypoint hyperlapse, if in any in between waypoint is set with camera pointing 90 degree down, my Mini 3 Pro is getting stuck there and keeps on taking photos at same point instead of rebounding the camera up to continue the remaining way points - Did you try this or faced this issue ?
Great video! Thanks for sharing! In FCP, if you select all the clips and “option+g” to make a compound clip, then you can stabilize the compound clip and export once. I’ve seen some comments that the drone speed can improve the stabilization if you go faster in higher winds. Curious if you’ve done any tests on that?
Not if you place it on the top of the drone towards the center/back of the drone. The camera angle I used was pointing downwards the entire flight so no pictures were affected. Maybe if you do a Timelapse with the camera pointing upwards… but most of the ones I’ve done are pointing down and never had any light leaks from the flashing LED
I am a bit surprised by the statement that ISO must always be 100. With smaller cities, that might be way too dark. From what I've seen this drone produces great results even at 400 or 800 ISO with some Lightroom noise reduction 🙂
Why not go higher than 100 ISO? you just said it without explanation, assuming most sensors have it's native ISO at around 400-800, 100 would be negative digital noise, which isn't great. Lower ISO doesn't mean less noise. You also loose other stuff like dynamic range and color accuracy when shooting lower. All this applies to video, I have NO Idea if it also applies to photos, but I would assume? Thank you for the great tutorial.
The Mini 3 Pro already has anti-collision lights, which should be visible for 3 miles. Ultimately it's up to the pilot how to comply with regulations. A white strobe would make the drone even more visible but his Mini is already in compliance.

How u get it sharp like that at night
What nd filter did you use? Would a nd1000 be good enough to get this look?
cool! did you use any ND filters for night shooting?

I need you to do some videos on the mini 3 pro and how do I get a decent color grade using the decimalike
Great night footage! I'd love to see this hyperlapse during the day with ND filter and tilt-shift filter to look like a miniature. Miami looks amazing. Keep up the good work. 🙌
you dont need an ND filter for photos lol. Your shutter will just expose for the day, nd filters are only for video
Hyperlapse is video! lol @@cuddleslug547
You forgot your lamp :D :D :D
How did you get the min 3 pro to save all the individual hyperlapse photos?
Great video tutorial!
are you using or recommend an ND Filter?
Not at night, unless it’s really bright lights. Most urban night settings are dark enough to get a nice motion blur without ND
@7:20 I guess tiktok clowns have their flat screen TVs placed vertically at home
your links to your IG and FB are not working??? Is the Vertical Hyperlapse video available somewhere?
That’s odd.

What's an alternative to Final Cut?
Hello, can you share this preset with me? It was very good, I tried to copy it here but it didn't look the same.
my mini 3 pro hyperlapse DNG photos only 960p when I set it to 4k...but the video it records of the hyperlapse is 4k! Even when putting it into a timeline. Can somebody please tell me what is going on?
you can do the vertical now. exacly same. just uploaded mein couple hours ago.
Yep! I was able to try it and works great! I have to do an update to this video 😎😎
Sorry, could u tell how to update it, I have the latest version of DJI fly , but it is still unavailable to use vertical mode? Thanks

great tutorial!! I am waiting for my Mini 3 to come in.. but how about on the new firmware update? are we able to do hyperlapse on the mini 3 now?

Will the strobe light affect the night hyperlapse?

Maybe if you do a Timelapse with the camera pointing upwards… but most of the ones I’ve done are pointing down and never had any light leaks from the flashing LED
What do you mean it uses the entire sensor ? I'm gonna do this with the air2 s
I am a bit surprised by the statement that ISO must always be 100. With smaller cities, that might be way too dark. From what I've seen this drone produces great results even at 400 or 800 ISO with some Lightroom noise reduction 🙂
I didn’t think about a light for the drone using it at night
why did all of my photos turn out blurry? Was i using too fast of a meter/s speed?
Where's the part two of this video?
Where is the next video ?
Why not go higher than 100 ISO? you just said it without explanation, assuming most sensors have it's native ISO at around 400-800, 100 would be negative digital noise, which isn't great. With the latest update you can do vertical hyperlapse.
Just wondering why you didn't have your blinking White light on your drone when you did this video at night.
The Mini 3 Pro already has anti-collision lights, which should be visible for 3 miles. Ultimately it's up to the pilot how to comply with regulations. A white strobe would make the drone even more visible but his Mini is already in compliance.
Still waiting on that part 2 video
1:44 we can now!! :)
How do u pin point Gps, to find out where it fell down ?
The app has a “find my drone” feature if you happen to crash it
Loved the video but it was so fast and my old brain could not follow all the key items. Especially the Lightroom and Final Cut part
Thanks for the lesson
You definitely need a microphone
Lol! You’re right! I did this last year when I didn’t know how to properly do the audio for these type of videos. Next one will be better 🤣🙏🏽
👍😂👍
I like your animatiom like and subscribe with golden bell
god dammit no hyperlapse in vertical!!! why!!!!
Yeah that sucks, also no tracking! Hoping that DJI gives us a firmware update to fix that
You could have just edited the video that hyperlapse completes and call it a day.
Vertical clowns😅😂
Muito top parabéns já estou seguindo no Instagram
Can you do this in iMovie? Please
