    Bro you just saved my life. I have the same exact workflow as you but for some reason I couldn’t understand why the quality of my photos sucked when importing them into FCPX. I never did the custom size timeline. I would only do standard 4k. You my friend are a life saver. THANK YOU 🙏🏾.

    Amazing video my friend. I have zero experience, and i am looking for a method to do 3d modeling with this drone, since SDK is not available, i think hyperlapse is the key.

    7:34 nice video..can you explain the motion blur..didn’t know you needed a filter for that I thought it was the seconds per frame that created that

    • @DroneFate
      @DroneFate  Год назад +1

      by using nd filters you restrict the amount of light entering your camera which allows you to get slower shutter speeds for more natural looking video. with slower shutter speeds we can achieve that natural motion blur the human eye is accustomed to

    Thanks for the video! I have the Mavic 3, question: When I take the photos in 4:3 and I want the final hyperlapse video to be 16:9,- should I crop the photos in Lightroom to 16:9 first or should I crop the stabilized video in FcP? Because as I understand I should use the highest quality images possible to stabilize first and after that I can create a new project in FCPX with 16:9 5K settings (5120 x 2880), correct? Thank you!

    • @DroneFate
      @DroneFate  7 месяцев назад +1

      I dont crop them in Lr as i want the full picture size in fcp, once i create the hyperlapse in fcp i export it with the same photo size settings (5120x2880) then i open another project either 16:9 or 9:16 & add the hyperlapse file there & resize acdordingly, this way you have all the original resolution to crop in & resize. Shooting in 4:3 uses the entire sensor.

      @@DroneFate Thanks a lot, perfect explanaition! By having one project with the original size/ resolution setting I stay real flexible and can later create all different kind of projects based on the aspect ratio I want. Makes total sense but requires some understanding.

      @@s.f.6846 you got it! Having that hyperlapse video (5120x2880) gives you that flexibility to resize/crop for future projects all that resolution for you also to not lose quality

    Yo Farhaan..what size (resolution) are the M3P hyperlapse photos? DJI says 12, 20 & 48mp.. can't find definitive info anywhere.. ta mate.. ***oohhh.. at 10:29 is looks like 20MP (5272x3948).. is that correct?

    OK, so I got the part of how to use the drone to record the photos. But then you lost me with Lightroom or Photoshop because I have neither. It seems though that no matter what program you are using, what you are doing is taking all of the photos you took and making a "movie" out of those photos. In other words, you are making a "Hyperlapse Movie." Not some special "Hyperlapse" setting and different thing, right?

    • @DroneFate
      @DroneFate  8 месяцев назад

      So you start with the drone obviously, shoot photos in raw which you then edit using lightroom. Once you’re done editing the raw images, export them. Import those images to your video editing app & merge them to one clip. In terms of “special settings” i got over shutter speeds & the different modes for different situations such as using an nd filter to get motion blur or the creativity with using different modes.
