I knew the SECOND I saw it I wanted one ! I I have always been a fan of of the Puukko knives. Nice sheath work. Passable for a hunting knife and an excellent all around outdoor knife. The rubbery feel to the grip is awesome in any weather condition.

Just got the puukko with an armatus sheath. Hoping it’s going to be the end all camping knife for me.
I am saddened that the Benchmade Puukko has been discontinued. I wanted to buy one but I did not reserve the money for it.

Weird that a puukko doesn't come with a proper puukko sheath.
The big brother is the BM 202 Leuku (I had to look it up). The strangest thing about the original sheath is it has a plastic lining.
I didn't even notice that! Weird.
I added shims between the plastic and leather and has been solid since, stock sheath needs much attention in my opinion. I also own lt Genesis lr edition not 6in version, mini bushcrafter hc, frontier, white river fc5, a few few no longer made made Smith forged ones as well... by far worst sheath I've had come w a knife hands down. Loose and sloppy like an H on Friday night w a discount, knife falls out which is dangerous being as sharp as it is. Needs minor profiling as well which w o the right stones can be laborious. That all aside great blade.

Do you have mold templates for knives you've already created sheaths for? Do I have to send in my Benchmade Puukko 200 if you've already done a sheath for it?

I have the benchmade 202 leuku can you make a sheath for that with a ferro rod holder??
I think we can manage that. I don't currently make ferro holders but it doesn't look hard. I'm sure I can whip something nice up for you. Good luck!
Is the sheath that originally came with the knife made from real leather or PU leather?
Good question. I want to say real leather? Pretty thin though...

Custom sheath is a must. However I have found that this knife doesnt work for anything else rather than wood cutting. Any sort of food leaves oils which rusts your knife very badly. Ive had mine for a year and I wash it and oil it after every use and still it gets rust spots. Really sucks.
