It's amazing how many times Kevin offers to take 7.5 to 10 percent less equity and still loses to other sharks.

Really impressive to hear their return rate being so low. Shows they have great processes in place. This product will be a hit. Customizable is what truly sets this bowtie apart.

When Mark Cuban asked about a hat for him they said he had a big head. But I think they didn't wanna put a hat on him and have it look bad on TV. Their presentation was executed very nicely.

Daymond's initial offer was of 150K 20%, they closed the deal at 17.5% + 10% royalty until he gets 150K back. If they hadn't insisted on Troy joining they could have made the same deal without the royalty. Heck they could have done 150K for 15%

@@fr00tloops I saw a video and mark said obv these are heavily edited to fit into an hour slot they said some negotiations last 10 min while others can last hours so I’m sure something was edited out for tv ratings

They didn't give up the equity for free. The 150k where the royalty returns his money is just a way to get the $150,000 now rather than later, and to let Damond in on the business, someone who will presumably make the business far more successful, making more profit come in, so then after he gets that 150k back, the guys will go on to make way more money then they would have made on their own. There's is a strategy to all of this.
