- This is a quick video of me installing the circuit werks downpipe on my n20 328i. Its not as hard as i thought it be, fitment and quality are on point, and everything has been working out great so far after a couple weeks of use

hows the freeway drone before and after with DP installed. also did you end up taking your resonator off?
So i left the resonator and just deleted the muffler 0 drone for me to be honest

next step remove the resonator and it'll bit more LOUDER! i've done it on my n20

I want to do my Downpipe myself because I’m not trying to pay 300 to put it on, do you think putting a Downpipe is not that hard to do ??
Uriel Chaidez is not that hard is just a bitch to get the clamps on
HOONRV is there like special types of bolts that will need special type of tools ? Because I don’t have a lot of tools and do you think I can do it with the tools I have at home ?? And ty for replying it helps a lot
Uriel Chaidez youll only need torx and inverted torx, youll be fine is not hard at all is just the vbands are positioned very uncomfortably on the turbo side

coldstart is obnoxiously loud, cant wait to install
It sounds good tbh cuz once is warm is not as obnoxious but that cold start is always good

Do you have an Instagram with the pics of your car?
does your catless downpipe just slide in same like OEM one from the downpipe to the midpipe? I am trying to install VRSF catless downpipe, but the downpipe from the midpipe can not slide in at all. look like the diameter from the VRSF catless downpipe is the same with the midpipe. That is why, i can not slide in same like oem downpipe.

None None yessir it took a couple hours but it came on yes
Are you going to code it off or just let it be? I'm getting my VRSF dp installed tomorrow so wondering about all of these things!
Well you cant really code it off. You’d have to tune it
Is it safe to remove the 3 stars bolts on the transmission to remove the bracket? And do you have to torque it when you put the 3 bolts back in?

With tune or no tune?
if i get a catted downpipe will i need to tune? f22 228i n20
no but a flash tune will eliminate the check engine light after installing the downpipe, this is the reason im doing my tune and downpipe at the same time.

Not gonna lie. That sounds absolutely terrible. Why not spend the extra 300 and get a Wagner or ER? This thing sounds like awful man.

All n20s are gonna sound like crap on cold starts once it quiets down they are not near that obnoxious
