@@dylan-nguyen bootmod did nothing to your car lol. Not sure why you had to get a new tuning platform and go JB4 if your motor was rebuilt + used the same DME for licensing. It would still be tired to the same car/DME. Sounds like someone is spreading BS.
3rd upgrade should be to get BimmerLink & BimmerCode as well as a BT OBD2 dongle. 4th upgrade... MST Cold Air Intake because of the heat shield and MAN DOES IT SOUND SEXY

Does the BMW shows his MIL because he has a bigger Intercooler? (More volume) I want to upgrade some parts, so that I can get a long time with it. BUT the ECU will be stock! And did the car need “longer” (like a turbo leg)
Im trying to decide between an f30 320i or an Audi A4? The f30s i have looked at are quite worn like cracks in the headlights and window and door surrounds.. and they only done around 60k miles. Is the A4 i higher quality build? How about reliability?
From personal experience the 4cyl bmw engines have a huge flaw. Timing chain guides fail ~100k there was a class action lawsuit A4 on the other hand has loads of electrical issues sensors failing all the time. Coworker has one and like every other month has to bring it in for a broken sensor I personally will only get cylinder bmws as they’re all pretty reliable As for the interior, mine looks brand new with only the interior door handle guard cracking which is common. Whatever rubber they used deteriorates and they’ve changed the material in my new car. But that’s a 1-2hr fix (all 4 doors) and diy with just hand tools + drill I don’t know about Audi interior but the build quality is way worse lots of “bling” to look nice but cheap materials and worse fitment
Hi Fritz- I’ve run into a bit of trouble… yesterday completed the mod per the video instructions. Today while on the highway the charge pipe disconnected at the compression ring- woops, there was a thunk and loss of power. I pulled over and was able to reset the pipe and properly this time, I had trouble with the alignment- and now it seems correct but there seems to be a bit of hesitancy with the power when I hit the gas from standstill, and sometimes it stalls when I come to a stop. Could I have damaged the engine when the pipe undid? Could this be a matter of coding to adjust idle etc for new equipment?
Awesome video! Do you have to get a tune after this install? I'm actually doing this, Injen intake, catless downpipe, new boost pipe n inlet pipe upgrades as well as with a muffler delete. Will it hurt the car to drive like this until I get a stage 2 tune?
Just a heads up, the stock clutch can’t hold stage 2 OTS maps. Ask me how I found out the hard way. Good luck and have fun fritz.

I had to get an engine rebuild at 90k and am now running a stage 1 jb4 tune
@@dylan-nguyen that’s why you don’t run JB4 a piggy back. Stock internals are fine. Piggybacks have a margin of error as well.
@@Sqwin_n20 stage 2 was a bm3 and I didn't wanna pay for it again for a stage 1 so I got a used jb4 from someone at work

Also, the charge pipe should 100% be the first upgrade. Mine exploded on the way to Taco Bell one evening
