Thanks for looking up what each of Jeanine's design choices were. It was so interesting! I wasn't sure that you would be able to have the SAL because of your move. You are so amazing to have been able to move and carry on with your stitching. I'm enjoying seeing everyone's starts.
So excited for this SAL! Thank you for all of the effort you are putting into running this and the research! I really enjoyed hearing about all of the pollinators! 🎉
Such a fun way to run this stitch along. I definitely didnt see the bear in the centre design, love it so much more now! Im looking forward to stitching along with everyone.
Thank you Laura! So grateful for your research 😊 Save the pollinators!! Can’t wait to start this SAL. I’m not ready to start today but I’ll be on board sooner than later I hope, I have the pattern and fabric set, just have to finish floss :)
This is such a cool SAL! Thanks for all the time you invested in researching the various pollinators. I love Mother Nature and it was so fun learning about these. I wasn’t going to do the SAL but now I’m hooked off to order the pattern. Hopefully it will come quickly and I can catch before the end of the month!
Okay, I jumped in late last night after working late and did a few stitches on that cute bee. I loved hearing the facts you shared about the pollinators.
Okay…I’m in. Your research and presentation did it for me. Was on the fence and just jumped over. I even found 32ct. Stormy Night Vintage linen in my stash. Thank you!
I just love watching your videos. When you giggle, it brightens my day. This was such an informative video! Thanks for all the research. I had not seen this stitch prior to you featuring it, and cannot wait to start it even though I fear it is over my head. You are such an inspiration ❤
I have only ever seen the center design as a bear and when you said bee skep I was like what? hahaha it's like seeing the arrow in the fedex logo. Once you see it you can't unsee it
I've been looking so forward to that! I've ordered everything on March 28th but it hasn't arrived yet 😭 (I live in Europe). I hope it won't take much longer and I am sure I can catch up, I am just a little bit jealous and you know how it feels when you anticipate something and you go calmly through the normal waiting time, then you start getting stressed but you are almost sure that it will happen any day now and then.....😑 Nevertheless, I really like what you did, taking the time to find and give us some very interesting information about the pollinators in each section you'll be stitching, very good idea, I am a documentary person 😜 So, happy stitching to you and everyone participating the SAL and cross your fingers for me to get my pattern soon 🤞 Thanks again and till next time 🥰🐝🐞🐻🧵🪡
Can I tell you what a sweet sweet soul you are??? I completely enjoy your videos and NOW I’ll be ordering the the pattern and stitching along with you ❤
I have never done a center start. Didn’t think about that. I am now taking my linen off the rods and finding the center. Learning something new already.
SO excited to start this SAL! I've got my fabric dyed and all my floss on floss drops and ready to go! Have to work today first though - BOO! LOL Thanks for hosting!
Started the SAL yesterday. Stepping out of my comfort zone and stitching on 40 ct. for the first time. Might be my last time too. But I'm going to keep plugging away at it and hope that I can keep up.
Love this! I love trivia! My brother used to tell all this as we watched nature programmes Looking forward to next month’s trivia £ to learning something new! Did not know that squirrels were part it this group
I had bought a piece of 28-count linen that, when it came in the mail, I thought, I must be crazy-nothing’s happening with that!, because I’ve always preferred Aida 14 (or so I thought…). But when I happened upon your videos yesterday for the first time, I was so inspired by all your projects on linen, I thought, nothing to lose by trying. I love it! I’ve just started the free Owl sampler by Owl Forest you mentioned in another episode, and now I want to do this SAL on another piece of linen, I think. Ordering the pattern and material today, and hopefully will catch up by May! Thank you so much!!!
Really?! Haha- I assumed it was a bee skep- but saw the bear pretty quickly too. That is so funny! (Also may or may not be geeking out a little that you commented on my post! I LOVE your designs. Thanks for creating beautiful things for us stitchy people out here.)
@@LaladeeStitches It was absolutely a bee skep and I had no idea about the bear. And now it bothers me that the bear has different colored "eyes"... And thank you so much for the great SAL and the lovely videos! You're teaching me new things every time. ❤❤
So fun to hear about the pollinators. I love that blue bee! Just found out I will have surgery in 3 weeks, so this will keep me company while I am off work for a week :)
Laura thank you for having this SAL. I have cross stitched now for 62 years with a break in my 40's when I was painting, knitting, sewing, gardening and reading. But I came back to cross stitch and I love it. I even have 4 WIP's !!! I love your videos so much. I've watched you since your first video. QUESTION: The pattern list the DMC for Straight Stitch. It says Bat (859) but I can't find that color anywhere. Does it exist? What color will you use for the straight stitch when we get to the Bat?
I agree with @philippacarlin6542 I think that it's a typo and intended to be 3859. You are correct- there is no dmc color 859, and it is not the number for any of the three over-dyed. :) Good catch! I hadn't noticed that yet! lol
I usually make a working copy and tape them together so it is all one pattern. This time I am stitching at my desk in the mornings and laying two pages out at a time so I can read it more easily. I hope one of these ways will help!
I cheated and started early! Now I’m going to stitch along with you. This is such a beautiful design-thank you for hosting this SAL.

That was so interesting! Thank you for sharing your research with us. One out of every three bites!!! Holy Toledo!!
Adorable stitch. Fascinating research. ❤

I have been seeing a bear this whole time and now I see what it really is!!!
This was so fun to watch. Ty for sharing all your research 🐞
Looking forward to starting the SAL. I enjoyed listening to your information. Never heard of a blue bee. Happy Stitching!

Love the info about the pollinators! I am ready to start this Sal🐝.
I started IPOP on St. Patrick’s Day by stitching the beautiful green border ( seemed appropriate!) I continued with an upper left corner start😊
I have only ever seen the center design as a bear and when you said bee skep I was like what? hahaha it's like seeing the arrow in the fedex logo. Once you see it you can't unsee it
I am so stinking excited. That is the one chart I bought from Market.
Yay!
I didn’t know this was a SAL. I’m doing this and started in the left corner (page 1) and am almost done with page 2. Loving it! Thanks for the info!
This is so GOOD!! I loved all the little tidbits of pollinator wisdom! Thank you, I’m really excited to stitch this with everyone!

Joining the SAL, thanks for the assignment stitching. That will keep me on task.
*sigh* You're going to make me do this, aren't you? You're a bad influence, Laura. 😂
Haha! ;)
This was so cool! I love all the information on each creature! 👏🤍 can’t wait to start this Sal!
It was interesting!
So excited. Thank you for this fun SAL and for sharing about each of the pollinators.

Nicely done, my Ladybug! I love the blue bee. I am going to start this while you have fun with your sister today. Love you lots! ❤
MOM!!
Thank you! Going to start on my lunch break. Love the explanations. My new fav bee is that blue one!
I have FOMO and might need to get the pattern! Edit: I ordered the pattern and fabric. I have to start this!
Love this! I love trivia! My brother used to tell all this as we watched nature programmes Looking forward to next month’s trivia £ to learning something new! Did not know that squirrels were part it this group
I just ordered my stuff…a little late to the game, but thank you Laura for all these tidbits of facts! It helps it take on a whole new meaning!
That's great! I am so glad you are joining us! You're welcome.
I’ve been looking forward to this sal- thank you!

I'm proud of you for trying that linen out- and am so glad you enjoyed it!!! A happy bonus. The owls are so lovely... Hooray for happy new adventures!
I actually had no idea there was a bear in the center until someone pointed it out to me, and now I see it every time as well!
Really?! Haha- I assumed it was a bee skep- but saw the bear pretty quickly too. That is so funny! (Also may or may not be geeking out a little that you commented on my post! I LOVE your designs. Thanks for creating beautiful things for us stitchy people out here.)

So fun to hear about the pollinators. I love that blue bee! Just found out I will have surgery in 3 weeks, so this will keep me company while I am off work for a week :)
Best wishes in your surgery and recovery!
Your research is fabulous and super interesting. May I put a link to you on my flosstube videos?
Thank you- how flattering- of course!

How do you read the chart when it is split in two pages Middle? I am having a hard time since it is split . Any tips?
I usually make a working copy and tape them together so it is all one pattern. This time I am stitching at my desk in the mornings and laying two pages out at a time so I can read it more easily. I hope one of these ways will help!
