You did good. How many nights did you go back inside smelling like a foot until you finished? My pool is nowhere near that big and more than once I thought preparing the ground would kill me. I seriously should have hired a contractor. I've lost count of the number of my stinky nights. But there's about 3 inches of water in it right now 😌. I'm almost there!
Ha! You are very correct: it was a LOT of work. And I should've learned from that experience, but I didn't. I'm in the middle of tearing up the front yard now to put in artificial turf :p I'm late enough responding to you that I'm assuming you've been able to enjoy the pool for a month by now! Congrats!
Is it actually safe to jump into above ground pools? Everywhere I've read says that it's dangerous.
