An open letter from a mother fleeing conflict in Sudan

For a year, fighting between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces has brought devastation across Sudan. The conflict has forced more than 8.6 million people from their homes, including 2 million who have fled to neighboring countries.
This animation follows a mother of six children who was living in Sudan when the war erupted. She flees with her children to South Sudan but they tragically begin to fall ill along the way.
