I spent about an hour looking at various videos and stumbled across yours. By far, the easiest tutorial I've seen and it took me a matter of minutes to create a stencil
THANK YOU! I’ve had my Cricut for a year and a half. I have been so intimidated by it. You have helped me learn so much. You are an amazing teacher and if you aren’t a teacher by profession YOU SHOULD BE! Lol
Thank you so much for a “Cricut for Dummies” explanation. I’ve tried watching others and they talk way over my head and I could never follow being a newbie. This was so easy to follow and understand. Can’t want to try this and make the sign I’ve been wanting to and was too afraid to tackle.
A great tip I learned is to always keep your Cricut material setting to 'custom' so that it forces you to select the correct material. I also have wasted paper, etc from having the wrong setting!
I have never worked with any kind of Cricut - have been totally confused........I finally got it!!!! Thank you for the availability of your explanations and how to!1
I have watched so many videos and your by far has been the best. I love that you explained step by step and didn't rush. Thank you so much for being patient explaining for the newbies.
Out of months of searching you’re the only one who has a video for what I needed. Bless you. I couldn’t figure out how people created the design in cricut create, what buttons did they use or push, etc. I didn’t even know about the font and I grouping them! You’re everything! I have subscribed to your channel. Thank you again. Please make more videos like this using different examples. Also, maybe for onesies and milestone disc if you can. It’ll really be helpful.
Thank you so much! I spent an hour trying to figure out why my letters had spaces. Gave up when my toddler woke up. Found you video and there it is! Thank you so much from this newbie!
I have been avoiding my machine for nearly TWO YEARS and have tons of tutorials saved but got started and then forgot about it. I am at zero hour on a project and this video made it WAY less overwhelming and intimidating!
I’ve just got a cricket for the first time. (About 6 months ago.) I got the maker. I’ve not really done much with it. It’s been set up in the craft room in its own little area all nice and neat. I don’t know why... but honestly I’ve been scared of doing it wrong. Sounds crazy I know. But it’s true. Anyways you explain everything so precise and slow and to the point where I can understand everything. You don’t have a lot of chitter chatter that we have to listen to. That is really aggravating when they talk about everything else for 20 minutes and then throw in some about the project and then talk some more. I’ll go look at the rest of your videos and hopefully you stay the same in all of them. I am subscribing to your channel and can’t wait to learn more about the Cricut from you! Thanks so much!
Great video. I've never used the slice function for stencils, I usually just put a border box around and cut, but it's good to find new ways. I also like to help push my mat into the machine, as it's better for the rollers to grip onto the mat fully - from the top. I've made the mistake of it not being pushed in and it didn't cut accurately on the mat and started cutting the base of my Cricut (it didn't damage or scratch it thankfully) x
Great video! When you slid the slices off to the side, that was the part I had been missing. My one request is to show how you applied the stencil to the wood. Did you have to use transfer tape? How did you get the centers of the letters (like the "o" or the "e") to transfer with the rest of the stencil? I had watched a video where they turned a normal font into a stencil font but it wasn't a great tutorial. I subscribed! Thank you for the help!
Thanks, this is the first video I've seen that I actually understood!!! I've watched 30 other clips and got lost and frustrated 😞 thank you for explaining things
You are so genuine! I love your voice, your style and pizzazz! I work in a small space too. You have made me feel like it's actually comfortable. Thanks for everything.
I been looking for you all day. I been trying to a Stencil Letter all day today and every video I watched made seem so difficult to, you made it so easy that I can do this with my eyes closed
If you leave you dial set to custom you’ll be able to change the material settings on the screen every time … this way you’ll get your cut setting right 🥰hope this helps
TFS, first project with my new Cricut Maker is to stencil letters on blocks for my g'granddaughters so they can spell their names. Your video is clear and concise.
Thank you so much for this. I am new to Cricut Design Space and am trying to learn. I've had a Cricut for years, but always used cartridges. Then I bought an Explore and love it, but Design Space is definitely a learning curve. So appreciated, because this can get soooooooo frustrating.
Thank you so much ❤️ you save my live I just recently got myself the cricut machine and honestly I thought I was not going to be able to have this don't anytime soon this video was very very helpful to me and very well explained thanks again , blessings to you 🙏
This is the best video to watch to learn how to make stencils. I’m very new to cricut and my first project is to make stencils for a pallet that I will use for my DIL baby shower but now I have a porch sign to make. Do I use the same steps to make a much larger sign say 10” wide x 36-48” long?
I'm just starting out on my cricut and this was very helpful and informative. It showed me exactly what I needed to do for my purposes. Thank you for sharing.
OMG, Lauren, thank you so much. I have a Cricut Explore Air 2, and have been watching endless videos about how best to use it for a complete, " newbie ". I found them both helpful and confusing. Please keep the videos coming I have so much to learn about t-shirts, wine glasses and decals for my husbands truck lol. ( I promised him a Dodge Ram head, but can't find the image and the ones I have found I don't know how to convert them to SVG files. Thanks again, Sylvia
Thank you for your wonderful step by step on how to do this! I did find you have to weld the words together to get the slice button to be available.I had tried attach and grouping them and it wasn’t allowing the slice action to be available.
Now the fact that I was looking for a design space tut and happened to find this one. The slogan "Gather Together", actually made me laugh as that is the opposite to what we are doing right now with the social distancing. Almost looks like rebellion. I had to check the video upload date. lol.
Thank you!!! I love how you go at just the right pace when talking so I don't feel overwhelmed to press pause or re-listen to a section. SO helpful!!
I spent about an hour looking at various videos and stumbled across yours. By far, the easiest tutorial I've seen and it took me a matter of minutes to create a stencil
Yay!
This lady knows how to teach. Master class
Omg love you
You skipped the most important part. Transfer of the stencil on to something. I wanted to see how you transfer the inside of the g,a, e, o etc…
Best stencil video I've watched - simple, step by step! TY
Yay!
THANK YOU! I’ve had my Cricut for a year and a half. I have been so intimidated by it. You have helped me learn so much. You are an amazing teacher and if you aren’t a teacher by profession YOU SHOULD BE! Lol
Great tutorial for a beginner. So easy to follow you.

This is the best tutorial on this concept I have seen. Thanks so much for this!
I have never worked with any kind of Cricut - have been totally confused........I finally got it!!!! Thank you for the availability of your explanations and how to!1
I love how this was straight to the point! Thanks!!😊

Mam you are a straight up G for making this tutorial. like for real!

Thankyou, was struggling with this, but followed your video and I have successfully done my first project.
Thank you for moving the ER over just a little bit more before you welded it!! Great video!

Best instructional video I’ve found. Thank you so much 🥰🥳👏👏👏
This is my 'go to' video to help remind me how to slice text for stencils as I often forget how to do this 🤦♀️🤣. Thank you x

OMG ! THANK YOU SO MUCH YOURE THE BEST ♥️ not once did you rush or anything explaining the steps wow! YOUR A LIFESAVER
Good job Lauren!
thank you for this .. very easy to follow I was able to make it immediately after watching your tutorial

I know its only but thank you for creating this video. You helped me so much. I was stuck wondering how to create a stencil

Thank you Miss Lauren. I'm a new cricut maker lover and need all the video help I can get.
This helped me so much. Loved how you explained things because I know nothing about this lol
I did everything step by step but I don't get the slice option. What am I doing wrong?
If you leave you dial set to custom you’ll be able to change the material settings on the screen every time … this way you’ll get your cut setting right 🥰hope this helps

Sharon H Plamondon Oh! What a great idea!
Thank you so much for this. I am new to Cricut Design Space and am trying to learn. I've had a Cricut for years, but always used cartridges. Then I bought an Explore and love it, but Design Space is definitely a learning curve. So appreciated, because this can get soooooooo frustrating.

Yay!!! So glad to hear that Dolores
Where was this video 2 hours ago 😂.
I love it, thank you for sharing !!!
Very helpful. Before I do this when you paint it does vinyl bleed and also can you reuse. Your instructions are great. Thank You
These aren’t reusable unfortunately. And yes it can bleed so I recommend you doing very light coats of paint :)
Thank you for a great tutorial! I fully understood every single step and can't wait to try it out.
Thank you so much ❤️ you save my live I just recently got myself the cricut machine and honestly I thought I was not going to be able to have this don't anytime soon this video was very very helpful to me and very well explained thanks again , blessings to you 🙏

that does not look too wide do you know how wide it is? MY expression seems a lot wider
This was so beautifully explained! Thank you so much
Thank you! This is exactly what I got my Cricut for and you make it easy to understand.
THANK YOU for the easiest one that I've ever seen. NOW, I understood how it works.
Great tutorial 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I am new to cricut and this helped so much. Thank you so much
Ungrouping or welding is called kerning in printing, removing space between letters.
You can leave your dial on custom and then you will have to select it on your computer and you won't forget. I had the same problem :)
Thank you for your wonderful step by step on how to do this! I did find you have to weld the words together to get the slice button to be available.I had tried attach and grouping them and it wasn’t allowing the slice action to be available.
The best I've seen. Great tutorial
This is a great video. Glad I found it.
THANK YOU for this video! I made my first sign last night and I would have been lost without you! :)
yayyy congrats!
Thank you thank you very much!!! I was looking for this kind of video for soo long 😭 best explanation ever!!
Love, love, love this tutorial !!! So much more convenient.... Thank you ☺️
So helpful thank you easily taught
So what do you do about the insides of the letters like h and e that will just be left on the sticker back when you peel it off to put on the wood?
Hoping to follow these steps to make a sign for my parents' wedding anniversary present!
I have to have the most patience waiting for the part I need to hear lol
Now the fact that I was looking for a design space tut and happened to find this one. The slogan "Gather Together", actually made me laugh as that is the opposite to what we are doing right now with the social distancing. Almost looks like rebellion. I had to check the video upload date. lol.
Thank you for a clear explanation. I love your video!
This is exactly what I'm looking to do. Do you mind if I ask which cricut you have? I don't want more than I need.
Thank you!
Thank you! Exactly the help I was looking for
