Great video! I have a 9 month old northern inuit puppy and you summed up her personality perfectly! They are great snuggle monsters and very clever. My girl is very responsive to training because she loves food. If it moves, she will chase it! She even watches things flying overhead. One day she stalked a passenger jet as it flew overhead 😂😂😂

Hello. They feel safe with her because they can feel her energy. I am just going to use myself as an example. I am empathetic and I have been around animals all my life. I seem to have a way with them. They would be either unknown or considered difficult around others because they may act aggressively, nervous, or etc. However, around me, they act calm and I give them healing because I give them that calming presence. (As I am a healer.) We also attract animals according to our frequency. For example, I can attract crows, ravens, hummingbirds, owls, etc etc. So, any animals she attracts will be from the frequency that she gives off. I hope that helps.
@@emytann7838 aww man I'm sorry for your loss too. I can't sit in my lounge as he passed away in my arms at home through home euthanasia as he had final stages of cancer. I have his Ashes on his bed with his collar, lead, feeding bowl, his favourite ball, two pictures of us plus the new testament. I miss him alot he was my shadow. I still have his baby tooth from when he was a puppy. I have to believe he's in a better place so that I can find peace.

I have what I'm pretty sure is a Northern Inuit Husky. Looks IDENTICAL to these dogs and I'm always having people tell me we have dog that looks like a wolf! Got him from someone trying to rehome him when he was 2. Definitely the most challenging dog I've ever had, but he's the most loyal dog I've ever had too! We also have a cat and all he has ever tried to do is chase her a bit and try and play with her. He also knows she doesn't want to play with him so he tries to respect that. Tries, being the key word here! Lol Got 3 kids he can play with instead. 🥰 The fam loves you Apollo!

Thank you for all the videos you do. I aim to own a wold dog breed in the near future and your videos have helped me so much. I’ve realized there are way more breeds than huskies and malamutes. Which I’ve learned that neither of these dogs are what I’m looking for. I think the Tamaskan and the northern Inuit seem like a perfect fit for my personality. Keep up the great work!

I just got a Northern Inuit pup after years of waiting she is rhe most friendly adorable pup and my labrador and her adore each other. They do have epic separation anxiety though and follows me everywhere. They are such beautiful good natured dogs
Lots of these dogs end up in rescues due to people getting them after watching Game Of Thrones and then learning they are not as easy as they expected.
We had one of the very first bred "prototype" Northern Inuits when I was a teen. She was white and a little too much German Shepherd. She was one of the first litters of Julie Kellum who is a popular NI breeder. Tara was a fantastic family dog, she did have the sensitive nature of a white GSD though. I miss her everyday and would love to own this breed again in the future 🤍

My SIL told me Leo’s don’t shed much but blow their coats twice a year...I think she hated me😂cuz I got a Leo and she shed **all the time** AND blew her coat twice a year🤦🏼♀️ I honestly can’t complain about burnt out vacuums or fur-tumbleweeds bc dogs are just 💗💗💗🥰 These guys can fuzz-up my house anytime🥰😂
Loved our dog Tank. He was massive. He was German Shepard and timber wolf. He was fast to get predators. He could jump a regular cyclone fence without touching it. We had to get high fence area for him. People were scared of him until we introduced him slowly to people. He passed last year. Would love to have another dog like him. You could see the dog, but in prey mode the wolf came out in him in appearance.
I know this comment was posted a year ago, but I was hoping to ask someone who had experience with a gsd wolf mix if the protectiveness of a gsd was apparent in a mix's temperament. I see you said that he chased predators, do you feel that Tank would've protected you if you were in danger from a human threat?
@@cedarsofthecoast2746 I think he would have barked and got between me and another dog or someone about to swing something to hit me. I had him on command most of the time to point kill a predator or he would see one running across the yard kill it in two seconds after reaching it. He was friendly to kids and people that I allowed in his circle. I find it best when teaching a dog to guard don't let everyone pet him. The reason is familiar people can still trespass or break into your home. The dog doesn't react because they think they are ok to be there. So I tell my friends please don't pick my pups up or pet them. My dogs will know to bark at them when coming in my driveway or porch.

Beautiful compromise for those who want to own a wolf in a dog looking so much like a wolf 👏 In France, wolf dogs breeding is only allowed after 2 or 3 generations (blue shepherds, saarloos, tchekoslovakian wolfdog etc) for sure the mix of various nordic wolfy breeds is an answer provided they can have the life corresponding to their basic needs.
we had a mehalek northern Inuit dog . it was the most loving dog we ever owned . but beware , buy off a reputable breeder . we made that mistake . he had to be put down at the age of 2 . epilepsy, through cross breeding . he was an amazing dog , great with kids , but when he had a fit we had to barricade him in the room as he became lethal . when he recovered after a few minutes he was fine .

Wow definitely one really beautiful one in there. Couldn’t agree more though on the type of owner. You need to have someone home at all times and a BIG yard for these dogs. If you’re looking for something closer to nature you’ll always end up with something energetic. And you should also LIVE closer to nature where there’s bigger yards and lots of walking area.
