Can't beat the warranty...contacted them about stick drift outta the box...sent me a new one told me to "dispose" of the faulty one. Resets the warranty....will keep playing tag like this for decades.
Mine lasted me a year and 3 months 😢. Minimal stick drift a year later but my cable started to go bad. I went through 2 elite controllers in the amount of time I had the fusion 2. I have not found a better controller but let me know if you think differently.
The only thing I like about this controller is the paddle pack, but only in concept. On console, it's just paddles, just remaps, potentially macros as some other controllers do, nothing special. But on PC through proper mapping software, they'd truly be additional inputs that aren't limited to the typical 16 buttons, 2 analog planes, and 2 linear singular direction analog triggers. But not just this, in theory the pack design could be customizable, you could have levers like what it comes with, you could have push buttons similar to eXtremeRate's four button pack, you could have two buttons, four buttons, nobody's stopping you from having six buttons. All that really needs to change is putting a SOC into the pack, just like the main controller has an SOC, and just use I2C/UART/whatever I/O bus as an expander to the second chip; similar to how how Zack Freedman is using the RP2040 platform (I forget which specific board he's using) as an 'infinite' I/O expander for his MiRage keyboard project. It's sad that these kinds of controllers never get marketed to PC where functionality like this would be a blessing, although Android/iOS seemingly has a market that has controllers with atypical functionality (FlyDigi Apex 2 for example, which I still want to see you review at some point, it's an interesting controller), so maybe something like this could exist there. I'll just add this to the list of potential controller projects that may or may not ever see the light of day.
Hey man do you know if there any way to change the intensity of the vibration of this controller? Because I just got the fusion 2 pro and the vibration on the controller is a lot more intense vibration then the other controller I used to play with and i always play with vibration, but the vibration on the fusion pro 2 just feels a lot more different
So I went through a few videos and they all say negatives about controllers. So like, which controller do you recommend? I watch like 5 controller reviews and I think I only her you recommend the Razor Wolverine Ultimate, which is discontinued, for shooters.

It worked the same but not having the click messed you up. Since it.happend in the first 2 weeks he just got another. Im really careful with controllers i also set them down gently on a flat surfave where they cant get knocked over and keep them clean. Growing up poor im so frugal ill buy my friend and his son a controller but wont buy myself another until mine is bad so who knows how long ill be using it. Im a linear player with 0 deadzone so i have noticed very slight consistency issues with it but thats comparing it to a brand new elite controller. Never had an elite last this long.
@@CashCartRed they all have the same deadzone. They all use the same potentiometers the only difference is slight manufacturing variance. If a game doesnt have a deadzone slider then you are using the games programmes deadzone not the controller.
As a filthy casual. I can't justify the elite controllers price tag of $180. The fusion pro 2 is only $50- $80. At the making of this comment they are $49.99. So I could buy 3 separate controllers and map them to the games I want, just swap out controllers depending on the game and still come in under the elite. What I have done though is bought 2. One for pvp and one for pve. Less wear that way. Thx
I’ve owned both of these controllers, but I’d say the victrix gambit tops the fusion pro 2. The paddles are more reliable and the only thing you really loose is the comfortability. Definitely prefer the feel of fusion pro 2, but quality of victrix gambit is better.

had a victrix gambit for a year now and its fine thumbstick got no drift yet just the bumpers keep breaking every 2 months and i gotta keep opening up the controller and repairing the bumper supports with super glue
thank you. do you have a video of ranking the controllers? and in each sections? e.g a few categories in price, durability, reliability (dead zones etc)?
It'll be interesting to see your thoughts on the elite series 2 core and the regular elite series 2 now that it's on sale for $155ish... My elite 1 is finally completely dying after 4-5 years and I there aren't many options for people who want wireless (casual players 😂).
He talked so much trash on the elite series 2 in his review because of reliability issues, but my elite series 2 still works fine after 1.5 years of cod and racing games
Had my elite 2 for two years but its time for a new one and after looking at all these different controllers and horrible paddles I think I will be fine with just spending the money on another eilte even if it won't last that long 😂
Controller is still dogshit lol Trigger stops are completely trash, doesn't even work, came with a little bit of stick drift, real flimsy back paddles. But the changeable analog stick really helped my aim in fps games but ever since I got my elite 2 it is better in every way, since you can adjust the analog stick manually and on the Xbox it literally makes your gun have no recoil at all which is crazy.
I'm very tempted for $52 right now to buy one for the paddles and rubber grips. I have a regular powerA controller I have had for over two years and it works very well besides a very slight stick drift, so I'm willing to upgrade within the brand
I am very disheartened by controllers...Any gamepad I buy gets stick or trigger drift within 1-3 months....I am very careful with my things and those fuckers still get shitty after like 5 weeks of medium 3 hours a day use....
I don’t know if I am lucky but I have had the original fusion pro for nearly 3 years now and I haven’t had an issue yet - as I said, I must have been lucky and I forgot to mention I only have a small amount of stick drift that leans left, but I honestly love it
I’ve had 3 now keep having to exchange them because eventually the sound in headset bugs out and gets stuck in the loudest blaring god awful distorted sound. Reset controller still does it. So yea unless u want to keep returning it I would avoid. Would love to know if anyone has found a fix. On series S. It took one week for my headphones to sound like a broken guitar amp
Definitely right about Power A controllers being hit or miss. My Spectra Infinity’s trigger stops wouldn’t register inputs for like 2 months on FPS games and now, oddly, it does.
I opened my Power A controller that I got about a month ago and it turns out they use the same shitty conductive pads the joysticks use FOR THE TRIGGERS. The reason I found this out is because my trigger was registering input without me pressing it. So if you get a Power A controller you can get “stick drift” on your TRIGGER 💀
I had one that worked for about 8 months, one paddle broke 3 months in and the RT snapped in half from the trigger stop making it un usable 8 months in. No stick drift issues or anything else but I can't complain that I got that much use out of it.
My problem with the power a controllers is the mushy ass feel. I have an aim controller now and it’s a lot more clicky, including 1mm triggers. Way more satisfying to use
my first elite style controller is the razor v2 one i enjoyed for 9 months it lasted i dont play fortnite on it or much of halo for single player games and rmp and games simular too devily may cry it works .
Just sharing feedback. I have barely used the paddles on the back. The whole module has lived in the case most of the time I've had it. Imagine my frustrations when I went to use the paddles during the cod beta, and the two bottoms paddles don't work. I can't remap them. Literally two useless broken buttons on the back. I guess it's nice that they are completely removable. But yea completely broken, With less the two hours of playtime on the paddles probably less then 1000 clicks.. kinda unacceptable
The victrix gambit has an issue where pushing forward on left stick makes the right stick have input when u aren't touching it. Only had it a month or so and it's not normal drift. Love it other than that
Hey vCuda I have been watching your videos and love them because it shows how good and bad different pro controllers are. I have watched your videos because I want to buy a controller but all of the controllers I have used have been great but warranty has not been the best thing with the controllers because of stick drift and paddles. I have been interested with all of your videos with the power a fusion 2 and I see how you talking about the paddles being too lose and fall out. This video that I will show you will show a fix to the plastic tabs on the paddle mount on a PowerA Fusion Pro and Pro 2 Xbox One controller. Please I want your feedback on what it does. @vCuda is this really you or a scam? don't know why you would have a separate account with no videos/followers....just checking, I am no fool when it comes to online promotions...
had a victrix gambit for a year now and its fine thumbstick got no drift yet
just the bumpers keep breaking every 2 months and i gotta keep opening up the controller and repairing the bumper supports with super glue
I bougth my fusion pro 2 about a half a year ago and ive used it in dailybasis, and been loving it. Not any problems
thank you. do you have a video of ranking the controllers? and in each sections? e.g a few categories in price, durability, reliability (dead zones etc)?
It'll be interesting to see your thoughts on the elite series 2 core and the regular elite series 2 now that it's on sale for $155ish... My elite 1 is finally completely dying after 4-5 years and I there aren't many options for people who want wireless (casual players 😂).
He talked so much trash on the elite series 2 in his review because of reliability issues, but my elite series 2 still works fine after 1.5 years of cod and racing games
Im getting rid of mine because of stick drift and i broke the paddles
Had my elite 2 for two years but its time for a new one and after looking at all these different controllers and horrible paddles I think I will be fine with just spending the money on another eilte even if it won't last that long 😂
Controller is still dogshit lol
Trigger stops are completely trash, doesn't even work, came with a little bit of stick drift, real flimsy back paddles.
My version 1 trigger shit the bed and they sent me a version 2. Pretty stoked
I am very disheartened by controllers...Any gamepad I buy gets stick or trigger drift within 1-3 months....I am very careful with my things and those fuckers still get shitty after like 5 weeks of medium 3 hours a day use....
I bought a PowerA once. Never bought it again. I thought I had saved money (40$ new roller in about a month or 2).
Bumpers go out. If you play darksouls games they will go out
The mic issues is so annoying everytime out of nowhere
Bro you trashed this controller so hard the first time around!
Definitely right about Power A controllers being hit or miss. My Spectra Infinity’s trigger stops wouldn’t register inputs for like 2 months on FPS games and now, oddly, it does.
Had a similar problem with the regular stock controller for me a screw I lost a while back was stuck on the magnet was why for me
The triggers break in 2 days
Fusion Pro 1 on top.

Can you please review the Xbox one elite series 2 core controller I’m considering buying it and using paddles
Check out Gamer Heaven for a review between the base and the core controller
I opened my Power A controller that I got about a month ago and it turns out they use the same shitty conductive pads the joysticks use FOR THE TRIGGERS. The reason I found this out is because my trigger was registering input without me pressing it. So if you get a Power A controller you can get “stick drift” on your TRIGGER 💀
Stopped using that controller because the paddles kept breaking, and if it wasn't the paddles it was the stick drift
I had one that worked for about 8 months, one paddle broke 3 months in and the RT snapped in half from the trigger stop making it un usable 8 months in. No stick drift issues or anything else but I can't complain that I got that much use out of it.
Still rocking my power a fusion pro v1. The wolverine TE seems to be out of stock.
Fusion pro 2 is now like 50-60 bucks
Just sharing feedback. I have barely used the paddles on the back. The whole module has lived in the case most of the time I've had it. Imagine my frustrations when I went to use the paddles during the cod beta, and the two bottoms paddles don't work. I can't remap them. Literally two useless broken buttons on the back. I guess it's nice that they are completely removable. But yea completely broken, With less the two hours of playtime on the paddles probably less then 1000 clicks.. kinda unacceptable
in all honesty i have the fusion pro 1 and it’s amazing 0 stick drift and 0 issues the best controller i have ever had
Can you do a review on the Razer Wolverine ultimate v2 it’s very good just my right thumb broke from dropping it
Do reviews on stuff like mnk adapters for consoles, bro trust
Feels like dude is having a hardship, his voice even became kinda broke hope he recovers
The victrix gambit has an issue where pushing forward on left stick makes the right stick have input when u aren't touching it. Only had it a month or so and it's not normal drift. Love it other than that
I don't like this controller, It has massive stick drift out of the box
Is there a way to fix the audio issues with the fusion pro 2?
Hopefully the fusion 3 is better…whenever it comes out
Hey vCuda I have been watching your videos and love them because it shows how good and bad different pro controllers are.
