Those Eswap S or X sticks don't drift they literally start to spike at some point. Had this a few times but there is an easy fix! On the backside from these sticks are 3 little screws! Open it, remove the little top case and the stick cap. Start doing circles with the pure stick and make sure you cover the whole range of this stickzone. Every direction multiple times! @@unclediscord3654 hi, I just got the eswap S yesterday and I’m really liking it. I was thinking about getting the X but I did watch reviews and I had a feeling that I would not like the button placement for that controller. Back Buttons are good for the way I play and use them. I have medium to big hands. I don’t know if I would recommend to people with small hands for sure. My latest xbox controllers usually lasted 2month or less before insane inaccuracy and drift. Also older ones have buttons issues. I have the Thrustmaster X since early february, I'm playing a lot racing games. This thing got only 2 to 3% off in Dirt, this is just insane. The S is also more recommendable and doesn't look like it hurts on long sessions. Not gonna mention how those sticks showed excellent performances on rocketscience channel's tests. I got mine, and it is my go to controller and got the Gambit controller as a back up. This is a great improvement to the original, feels good and work to the T for me. 👍👍👍👍. Every game I play, it's dead on while playing.
My stick drift on the eSwap S Pro after just two months is crazy. It just happened suddenly, like almost 60 days on the dot. Adjusting dead zone works for now, but for how long? Replacement sticks are OOS, which makes me think I'm not the only one at the moment replacing sticks.
I really want him to review the XIM Nexus!!!! I have one these and I absolutely love it. All the settings such as button mappings, stick curves and stick or trigger deadzones. With real-time display and the ability to save configs for each and every game you play. 4 paddle buttons + another ability for enabling Gyro Aiming. Still cheaper than an Elite v2 and way more innovative.
I also need 4. I've narrowed it down to the victrix gambit and razer v2 chroma. Apparently the gambit has high deadzones out of box that you can't change. But I can't see myself getting used to the back buttons in the middle on the v2 chroma. What did you end up going with? If you got anything yet
I personally would be interested in an updated comparison between these two Thrustmaster controllers (as well as others). Based on how these controllers feel now with my recent holiday purchase it seems like a lot of the good changes they applied to the eSwapS might have also been applied to the eSwapX as well. Such as the removable D-Pad feeling click-y now, etc. If this is indeed the case then based on the different thumbsticks and the RB/LB buttons the eSwap might actually come out ahead overall. Minus the back buttons. Those unfortunately haven’t changed positions.
Great review as always! I did want to mention the warranty is actually 2 years though not 1 as stated in the video. Absolutely love this controller and got extra sticks as you recommend in the video. Thankfully 2 months in and haven’t had to replace any
Got this controller and consider myself to be a great call of duty player. The thumbsticks are top tier in terms of accuracy and feel. However, the durability is a concern for me. I got the controller as a Christmas gift (one month ago) and both sticks have started to “spike.” I guess it’s stuck drift but it seems more aggressive than normal stick drift. My aim will just spike toward the ground out of nowhere
Have you gotten any new controllers that you recommend? I’m thinking about buying one I also am pretty good been playing ranked cod with a shitty controller don’t know if a another elite is the way to go ?
Honestly I hated the back buttons on the X Pro when I initially got it. My hands are big enough that I can reach them pretty easily, and I’ve since adjusted. Best controller I’ve ever touched, hands down!

We need more honest reviewers like u, sometimes i feel like other reviewers only talk about the positives and never the negatives, to me this can make the owner of the product not change or improve anything for their products if they dont know whats wrong with it.
This is the main issue I wanted to tackle when I started making reviews It may just sound like senseless rambling when I talk about it on stream, but I truly feel like all tech content is homogeneous. Every tech reviewer Kisses the ass of the company they're talking about to stay in their good graces. They want to collab with them later and being critical could kill that. Also, being critical about something people enjoy is a slippery slope, you could upset some people And back on homogeneity, every tech review feels identical. Which is something I plan on making a small video about in the future. Everyone just copies that guys at the top, bland script, basic Shots of the product they're reviewing, pretty colors, only positive notes, no personality, etc. I love RUclips, and I love being a part of the tech community. But Jesus christ it is one of the most boring, dishonest places to be 😂
Great video as always, would love to see you dive into mice keyboards and other tech as well. A lot of mice reviewers out there but many are not honest and just hype big brands and hate on small brands
Watched a vid of yours a while back, glad to see you climbing bruv. Great vid btw! Love the humor aspect. Informative too. I was thinking about grabbing a battle beaver when finances allow but this controller’s definitely interesting. Do you know how the Battle Beaver 150% resistance increase compares to this controllers 33% in game?
Thank you! I appreciate the kind words Unfortunately I haven't had any recent hands on experience with battle beavers controllers, but I do have one of their sticks by itself. One thing I do know is that their increased tension thumbsticks are equal to XB360 sticks. The EXTREME increased tension sticks, however, are far harder to use. So Increased tension might help, but extreme may be too much. At least it felt that way from my perspective. In comparison to the Eswap sticks, it truly isn't comparable lol Hope this helps!
Ive had an eswap s since release and so far have had replaced 1 full controller due to rlthe triggers not working then 5 ministicks due to drift all replaced under warranty. The customer service is excellent but the reliability of the sticks and controller is not the best i ended up going back to using the elite series 2
After buying this controller and getting used to the buttons on the back i ranked up in rocket league from c1-c3. I used the analog settings in the software that Virge here on YT recommended for thrustmaster's eswap x.
@@SintaxBSD going from diamond to Champs just requires more consistency. Like most people think you need to be mechanical to progress but as long as you play smart with your positioning and you can consistently not miss shots or saves then you are good. Also rotating quickly and getting small boost pads on the way back instead of always going for the 100 boosts. Boost management is huge in this game.
I've gone through two sets of sticks for this in under a year, it would've been 3 sets if I wasn't poor. Controller feels great just those sticks get way more than just drift way too fast
Thank you for these reviews. It's exceedingly hard to find controller reviews that amount to more than an unboxing and hands on. Most reviews open it, spin it around in their hands and click buttons while sloooowly telling you about every single button that you already know it has for 10 minutes. Then they spend/waste another 10 minutes explaining that the app can remap buttons because they think nobody can comprehend what button mapping is without their help. Then they tell you if they find the controller or back button comfortable, and end the review without ever mentioning things like stick accuracy, in game performance or how it compares to alternative options or reliability...which is what I watch reviews for. I don't need some 5'2 manlet to waste my time telling me a Razer or something is junk for completely subjective reasons. Or because they just hold it like idiots who think they need a finger over every button at all times which accounts for 80+% of negative reviews I've seen for the Razers for example. Thank fuck for Cuda. Making most of the competition look not just bad, but incompetent. Now I just need to decide between the Eswap S and Wolverine chroma v2. Anybody had both and can compare the stick accuracy for me? I'm sure the eswap has an edge but I like the sensitivity clutch on Razer so is it enough of an edge to forego that and extra buttons?
I havent used the wolverine but i have used the elite series 2, eswap X and S an i gotta say the X had the best accuracy for me if the wolverine is anything like the elite in terms of stick movement i would definitely shoot for the eswap even though it gets stick drift quite often it is far better than the elite
hey, were you able to make the choice? im currently in the same boat, wolverine v2 chroma vs eswap sc, and cannot find any comparisons, let me know if you got either and how you feel about it
i bought my Eswap X october 2021 - one of the orginal sticks got sevier stickdrift after 9 months(the stick were running was mapped)(bought an replacment for 25 Bucks) , the other one has nearly no drift . .I am a hardcore Destiny 2 player with long sweety weekend seassons. I have medium sized hands so the grip at the standard xbox stick layout is a bit uncomfy - i am switching 2 fingers for 4 backbuttons. There is kinda a workaround for the grip problem : remove the 2 magnetic sidepanels so the controller becomes smaller - plus make a PS4 stick layout. All in all the Eswap x is built like a tank (better then Elite 2), has the nicest most accurate sticks(class of its own), it is overclockable( i have around 4ms latency) and the buttoms are digital and super clicky(better then Razor). The only think to make this controller better is a better back button placment(more on the sides) . I had an Elite 2 who died exactly after 12months and a few days (broken stick spring and broken back bumpers) . I had also an Nacon Revolution Pro - very good grip(Backbuttons more on the side) and accurate sticks but quality wise the controller was a fucking disapointment - exactly 3 months and the stick spring broke - thats a fucking no go for an over 100 bucks controller.
@@vCuda no problem bro it’s amazing to see the growth . Congratulations on 60k and the healthy views and growth I will be returning more consistently now I won’t leave for as long as I did trust me🤣
Had the victrix and e swap X pro The victrix is not good if u want to use 4 paddles because theyre damn near together that u will press sometimes the wrong one and it will cost u the match (happened to me in endzone warzone) The big difference though are the dead zones Victrix has built in dead zones which makes it very hard for minor adjustment The e swap on other hand has really precise sticks, which are on pair or even better than my ps5 aim controller Very good one but the X is better than the S, X fits just perfect in my Hand and it will make u a better player if u use 4 paddles instead of 2, ive played 10 years with 2 paddle design and i gave me a try and switched to 4 so i dont have ever to use abxy buttons

Patiently waiting for that Tokyo drift review 🎮 "for a while I've been discussing stick drift on this channel... NOW LET ME SHOW YOU HOW TO DRIFT W/ THIS STICK REAL QUICK" 🤣
I really wish the Eswap S had an option to get the Playstation layout rather than just Xbox. I find having thumbsticks side-by-side is much more comfortable and I love the idea of a tactile d-pad. I guess I'll have to wait until they release it or just not buy one.
Your are one of the few tech content creators that I can watch 100 % of the video. Your dark twisted humor is awesome. Don’t change. I’m a mouse and key player and despise sim assist players but here I am watch a full controller vid. Let’s go!
My only gripe is that the eswap s STILL doesnt have paddles. I need my paddles. Its not negotiable. Other than that i love the replaceable thumbsticks although just making a controller with real Hall Effect joysticks that NEVER get drift would be ideal but i also realize then they wouldnt be able to sell you new sticks.
Thanks for making these videos, truly helpful. After watching 20 different ones I'm still not sure what I should choose for FPS play on PC. I'm coming to terms with the fact these controllers need to be replaced often and that's certainly the case with my awful Scuf Prestige which was my first pro controller. With that said I know you gave the new model a decent review and despite me not wanting to give them anymore money it seems like a top choice. If you had to suggest one controller to use everyday as of now, which would you suggest? Should I wait for a companies newer iteration if there's one in the near future? Or just fully transition to MnK? Any help would be grest thanks!
It'd probably be cheaper and more fruitful long term to switch to Mouse and keyboard. Even I can't deny that But if you'd like a controller for daily use, tbh anything would be better than a scuf. Surprisingly, the Instinct Pro seems to be holding up much better than older scuf Xbox Controllers. So it isn't a terrible wireless option. But for wired controllers, the victrix gambit, Fusion pro 2, or even something like the PowerA Spectra would do you well. None are likely to last 10 years, but that applies to every Controller nowadays

Mine already has stick drift on the right stick and it’s quite dissatisfying to Be honest. I love the controller but I feel I’ll have to replace the stick modules too often...
Does the drift persist if you up the deadzone one notch every so often? No controller on the market will keep you at 0 in software and 0 in game for long

Those unfortunately haven’t changed positions.
i love this channel. idk why, but every video ive ever watched when looking up specific controllers, ive loved
Great review as always! I did want to mention the warranty is actually 2 years though not 1 as stated in the video.
Absolutely love this controller and got extra sticks as you recommend in the video. Thankfully 2 months in and haven’t had to replace any
Can we get a one year update of the controller
Been debating on buying this controller definitely will be giving it a shot thanks for the video
Did you also buy this and then regret it?
@@Sideleek03588 ended up getting the razor wolverine controller instead
Your videos are fire bro. That "mic cutout four seconds" shit had me pissing myself. Kudos, VCuda!
Dude your videos give me a 90s vibe.
How you do it I can’t tell.
Good Job!
Thank you very much! I was raised by the most authentic 90s kid on the planet, I myself unfortunately wasn't around to see such an amazing Era
Missed you broski !!!
Yo cuda, you should review the HYPR Signature X, it's a hidden gem and a really underrated controller, keep up the good content bro
I don’t even play on controller, I just love watching your videos
Got this controller and consider myself to be a great call of duty player. The thumbsticks are top tier in terms of accuracy and feel. However, the durability is a concern for me. I got the controller as a Christmas gift (one month ago) and both sticks have started to “spike.” I guess it’s stuck drift but it seems more aggressive than normal stick drift. My aim will just spike toward the ground out of nowhere
@@SparkzAlwaysWorkin had to change even tho that was the love of my life !!! ran through 2 in less than a month (2 controllers)
@@SparkzAlwaysWorkin oh wow can you give me the email you send that to ?
Have you gotten any new controllers that you recommend? I’m thinking about buying one I also am pretty good been playing ranked cod with a shitty controller don’t know if a another elite is the way to go ?
Honestly I hated the back buttons on the X Pro when I initially got it. My hands are big enough that I can reach them pretty easily, and I’ve since adjusted. Best controller I’ve ever touched, hands down!
You must be 2 meters tall like thrustmaster employees lol. I would recommend the S for comfortable longer sessions though I haven't tried it yet
Ive been waiting for a review on this controller from you brother. Thanks..
I hope you never doubt the quality of your content dude. Sincerely one of my favorite channels to listen to. Doesn’t matter how many times I’ve watched any given video either, your videos are hilarious. Hope you get through the shit and Keep your head up!
The ThrustMaster Eswap S pro the controller that removed some features just to make it slights smaller shape but is still pretty recommendable.
First off I don’t have any form of social media because of scammers like you and second I never heard of any giveaway so go somewhere else and never reply again
1st time checking out your vidz and thoroughly enjoying it 👍
Another banger from vcuda, love to see it!
Recently found your channel. You're the reason I got the KingKong 2 Pro and I love it...for Steam games. I was pretty disappointed to learn gamepass for pc is very picky about controller support, so I guess I need to also need have an xbox controller just for gamepass. Love the vids!
Microsoft is always doing stupid Microsoft shit, I can't believe they don't support other controllers!
You can use steam input for either any game, .exe file and you have keybinds for both defualt controller types and a mouse/keyboard emulator type, steam also has a desktop emulator that you can't use defualt controller types sadly. The limits are being reset by steam.
Great video bro! For some reason RUclips didn’t have you in my notifications
Nice video as always
I love your energy man! You are very underrated as a reviewer/ RUclipsr keep striving I am sure you will get seen by many others in the near future.
Yo am a new subscriber and your videos are the best keep it up
Nice review. I just found the thrustmaster eswap s crystal pro for 40 bucks on Woot. Down from 129 dollars. Figured it was too good to pass up.
Always looking forward to seeing your videos brother
the moment I've been waiting for.
Hey man! I just wanted to say u have an awesome personality, and wanted to say u have been blessed with the will to give honest reviews. Keep up the good work and God bless!
Victrix Gambit is my favorite. And I have tried all the major ones.
Mine too, but my reviews usually aren't for my personal taste. I use them to recommend people something that works for their situation, without breaking the bank
@@vCuda that is a good way to do it
@@vCuda it is far from perfect but is definitely the best bang for the buck you can get
I’ve been using the turtle beach recon controller it’s pretty good actually
I legitimately laughed at the Thrustmaster name critic
Always appreciate your videos sir keep em coming..
Thanks for the video, they're always full of good info ✌️
I have the eswopX and nest controller I've owned so far and I've owned a few,I find this has been my favourite so far and I'd 100 percent recommend it over any controller I've had so far 🤣
My favorite RUclipsr has returned! Welcome home, buddy. TBH, I watch your videos more for the comedy gold than the actual information. You never fail to make me laugh. Thanks, my guy.
Thanks for the support man! Its nice to be working consistently again
Best believe more laughs are on the way! Nowadays I truly feel myself on camera, and its amazing
You have a good one man!
@@vCuda make a video about rig nacon revolution x it would be great.
Kinda wish I still had the original now. Those new sticks look like the star of the show.
We need more honest reviewers like u, sometimes i feel like other reviewers only talk about the positives and never the negatives, to me this can make the owner of the product not change or improve anything for their products if they dont know whats wrong with it.
This is the main issue I wanted to tackle when I started making reviews
It may just sound like senseless rambling when I talk about it on stream, but I truly feel like all tech content is homogeneous. Every tech reviewer Kisses the ass of the company they're talking about to stay in their good graces. They want to collab with them later and being critical could kill that. Also, being critical about something people enjoy is a slippery slope, you could upset some people
And back on homogeneity, every tech review feels identical. Which is something I plan on making a small video about in the future. Everyone just copies that guys at the top, bland script, basic Shots of the product they're reviewing, pretty colors, only positive notes, no personality, etc.
I love RUclips, and I love being a part of the tech community. But Jesus christ it is one of the most boring, dishonest places to be 😂
very good review and the humor was top notch
Great video as always, would love to see you dive into mice keyboards and other tech as well. A lot of mice reviewers out there but many are not honest and just hype big brands and hate on small brands
awesome video man !
Been waiting for this review from you daddy Cuda 😩😩😩
That date is one of the first things I spotted 🤣. Forget the product, what the hell man.
Thank you! I appreciate the kind words
Unfortunately I haven't had any recent hands on experience with battle beavers controllers, but I do have one of their sticks by itself. One thing I do know is that their increased tension thumbsticks are equal to XB360 sticks. The EXTREME increased tension sticks, however, are far harder to use. So Increased tension might help, but extreme may be too much. At least it felt that way from my perspective. In comparison to the Eswap sticks, it truly isn't comparable lol
Hope this helps!
I used the analog settings in the software that Virge here on YT recommended for thrustmaster's eswap x.
what exactly did you change with the controller settings to improve your gameplay? i'm a D1 and trying to get up there myself with the champs :D
@@SintaxBSD but if you want his specific settings he made a video for them
You have the s or x?
I've gone through two sets of sticks for this in under a year, it would've been 3 sets if I wasn't poor. Controller feels great just those sticks get way more than just drift way too fast
I been waiting for this one
I havent used the wolverine but i have used the elite series 2, eswap X and S an i gotta say the X had the best accuracy for me if the wolverine is anything like the elite in terms of stick movement i would definitely shoot for the eswap even though it gets stick drift quite often it is far better than the elite
hey, were you able to make the choice? im currently in the same boat, wolverine v2 chroma vs eswap sc, and cannot find any comparisons, let me know if you got either and how you feel about it
@2:27... Lol.. that caught me off guard. 😆😆
ITS THE BOY FROM THE GAME AWARDS 😱😱😱😱 the bill clinton guy
i bought my Eswap X october 2021 - one of the orginal sticks got sevier stickdrift after 9 months(the stick were running was mapped)(bought an replacment for 25 Bucks) , the other one has nearly no drift . .I am a hardcore Destiny 2 player with long sweety weekend seassons. I had also an Nacon Revolution Pro - very good grip(Backbuttons more on the side) and accurate sticks but quality wise the controller was a fucking disapointment - exactly 3 months and the stick spring broke - thats a fucking no go for an over 100 bucks controller.
good review without bs. Nice m8
No way you have 60k now . Do you remember me I’ve been here sicne 2k when you were doing fortnite

I like you man. You make a great videos.. And a lot of information that I really need.. ✌️ peace
I would love to see a comparison between the Eswap S Pro and the Victrix Gambit.
Had the victrix and e swap X pro
The victrix is not good if u want to use 4 paddles because theyre damn near together that u will press sometimes the wrong one and it will cost u the match (happened to me in endzone warzone)
The big difference though are the dead zones
Victrix has built in dead zones which makes it very hard for minor adjustment
The e swap on other hand has really precise sticks, which are on pair or even better than my ps5 aim controller
Very good one but the X is better than the S, X fits just perfect in my Hand and it will make u a better player if u use 4 paddles instead of 2, ive played 10 years with 2 paddle design and i gave me a try and switched to 4 so i dont have ever to use abxy buttons
Mr Cudo is one of the nicest and positive RUclipsrs out there, in the comments down below he gives an amazing response to a fellow RUclipsr and basically encourages and talks highly of his videos! Awesome young man, keep doing what your doing your 😎
Yoo! Is that the back to the future jacket?!!
Patiently waiting for that Tokyo drift review 🎮
"for a while I've been discussing stick drift on this channel... NOW LET ME SHOW YOU HOW TO DRIFT W/ THIS STICK REAL QUICK" 🤣
Enjoy ur vids 🔥
Awesome video. Could you please make a video comparing the best wired controllers with the best wireless controllers?
love the random superhero lego’s lol
Welcome back!
I really wish the Eswap S had an option to get the Playstation layout rather than just Xbox. I find having thumbsticks side-by-side is much more comfortable and I love the idea of a tactile d-pad. I guess I'll have to wait until they release it or just not buy one.
Same. I really want the eswap s with the PlayStation option.
Amazing edit
Your are one of the few tech content creators that I can watch 100 % of the video. Your dark twisted humor is awesome. Don’t change. I’m a mouse and key player and despise sim assist players but here I am watch a full controller vid. Let’s go!
My only gripe is that the eswap s STILL doesnt have paddles. I need my paddles. Its not negotiable. Other than that i love the replaceable thumbsticks although just making a controller with real Hall Effect joysticks that NEVER get drift would be ideal but i also realize then they wouldnt be able to sell you new sticks.
I got an eswap s back in November I've swapped the sticks with each other and can just pop them out and back in when they get a little drifty
Even I can't deny that
But if you'd like a controller for daily use, tbh anything would be better than a scuf.
Overclocking is a must lol I can’t go back to the default 8ms latency feels horrible
I SPOTTED THAT KNIGHT RIDER CAR AS WELL!!!
Just got the Razer Wolverine Chroma V2 - feels okay till now. only downside is the Thumbsticks get pressed very ez. I was really doubting in getting this trustmaster. It was really between the two of them. If I had seen this review earlier, I probaly would have go for this one. Thnx mate for your review
They should make a hall-effect sensor version of the thumbstick module.
I always watch your reviews before I choose a controller they are brutally honest and you don't try to pitch gimmicks lol , but really thank you you have saved me more than once from some bad purchase decisions. So far I'm really sold on Razer though ,your fault entirely lol
Hey vcuda, if money isn't a factor, how do you rate this against the Wolverine V2 Chroma?
Also what is your favourite pro controller?
Great work on your videos man, absolutely love your channel.
Awesome review, does this controller have gyro support?
keep up the good work 👍😊
You can make a video about the Thrustmaster T16000m throttle mods, it makes day and night difference.
Can you do a review on the new Victrix BFG pro Hall effect modules?
Mine already has stick drift on the right stick and it’s quite dissatisfying to
Be honest. I love the controller but I feel I’ll have to replace the stick modules too often...
Does the drift persist if you up the deadzone one notch every so often? No controller on the market will keep you at 0 in software and 0 in game for long
@@Beemerbmr the thing was this was advertised for millions of clicks and was module so we wouldn’t face drift. Unlike the analog. It did but I got a new part for 19.99 and shipping. Let’s try this one now and hopefully it lasts longer
@@SWAT.GAMING got it. I ordered one on Amazon so hopefully my sticks last long. What’s awesome is right now Amazon has product returns until January 31 2023 so I can always send it back if I’m not content
