This broke my heart into a million pieces. I can't imagine losing your lifelong partner this way. I would probably die of a broken heart too. This is all just too sad.

This is one of the most painful realities I've had to contend with. I pray for comfort and strength for all the grieving families, the nation, and the world.
This father is amazing. Not only did he show strength but to hear him say that he will now live to be the best for his angel and honor her with his life is a love like no other. My friend your little angel is smiling down on you and will be with you all the days of your life til you meet again in Our Father’s Kingdom! May God bring you peace and comfort for all the days ahead. I hope the family of Irma and Joe Garcia will find the strength to pull on in their memory. Many talk about the kids who lost their lifes too young (and it is still not enough people talking or maybe it is too much), but the two teachers were part of this tragedy as well and the loss for the families is equal.

Evidentially, it's more important that police officers go home safely to their families instead of saving the children. The parents could've done a better job saving kids compared to the coward cops afraid to go inside and do their job. Sad excuse for a profession that claims to "protect and serve."
They may claim to protect but the Supreme Court has told them very clearly that its not their duty to protect or serve...

Blame the feds who know about the guy did nothing, then the cops for only saving their own , not taking out the murder after they located him, then turning around to focus on preventing the parents from going in by arresting them if they tried.

The most heartbreaking thing I saw was that many victims were unrecognizable and had to be identified by alternative means than visually. Thats what the kind of assault riffle the perpetrator had can do to people.
Im so tired of being heartbroken by yet another tragedy and yet another controversial event happening in my country every day. Im so tired. This feels like the last straw for me and so many others Ive talked to. Its time to do SOMETHING. Anything besides just relying for our bought and paid for with lobbyist money politicians to care about us.

But it’s just I’m just saying sometimes not everyone who does that is able to control their actions. They know they’re doing it but can’t stop themselves.
Sometimes it’s in the brains eh, something it’s blocking that part of the brain so it can not send signals through for that person to think straight.
So yeah and that can happen for 3 years before you know they have done something they’d never do normally.
I can never excuse anyone to respond to killing people in anyway, but sometimes it’s understandable

When I was a teenager I wanted my sister dead too she was rude and ignorant at times, but I never took a knife and attempted to stab her to death, you know or a gun

Just one little problem with this story,....according to their own facebook page,...the Uvalde P.D. took part in activesh00ter training at the local high school just two months ago in preparation FOR THE DRILL THIS WEEK AT THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL...They were actually waiting for word from local DHS to begin the drill, which took over an hour.....it's busted...nobody died.
