I like how your Laser Pen sight concept is spreading to other weapons, hope to see it more in future projects. Still wish the Attachment pack had more of it.
In my run of Fallout 4, it's pretty much replaced both the glock and Institute covert pistol *completely* due to space constraints, and it was WORTH it. It's kinda like a weapon S&S munitions would make, but with some 80's flair to it. It's also like an Uzi with a much smaller file size, so that's another plus to add to the long list of positives.
Hey Dak! Big fan of all the mods you’ve been making lately! Do you think you could eventually try to make your own light machine gun modeled after something like a belt-fed BAR/HCAR, or an M60?
I rather like the Ruger PC Carbine in 10 MM, it hits hard and 10 MM is semi plentiful and is one of the top 3 Close Quarter Cartridges. Custom PC Carbines in .357 and .22 TCM are Tack Driving Performers, benefits of .357, 1 of the most common Cartridges, great all around Performer because it being in a Carbine Configuration the Recoil is highly lessened, able to use .38 Special and .38 Super. All of that makes a Carbine like the PC Carbine Chambered in .357 a great Truck, Ranch, Survival, and a SHTF Gun. PC Carbine in .22 TCM is a great General Purpose Varmint Cartridge and even up to Self Defense. Plus .22 TCM makes really HUUUUGGGEE fireballs out of the Muzzle, 💥💥😁👏👏💥💥.

Love this, especially since I love carbine conversions for pistols. One of my absolute favorites is probably the Px4/Cx4/Mx4 Storm series , and I'd love to see something along those lines (chambered in 10mm/.40 cal) in the game. This is a great start towards all that though. Definitely adding this and the Raider SMG to my next go of things.
Fun fact: due to the Russian language having genders, the translators had to rename every rifle to a carbine, so having an actual intended carbine is kind of weird
I think I prefer it in the semi-auto pistol form better than the SMG, you can spam the shots pretty quick with a fast trigger finger and each shot does more damage, around high 70's I think? I got plenty of 10mm ammo so I stuck with that version too, it's hella fun.
Custom animations are always a nice addition, but many of us use Tactical Reload, thanks to GunTubers, who made sure that we know way too much about weapons. 🙂 So, a patch will be needed, unless it's compatible out of the box. Beautiful gun, btw. Edit: I see now that someone made a patch right away, nice!

Magazine Fed Lever Action Guns that utilize the AR Chassis are really fun and interesting Firearms as well. Dak and Crew should look into making one of those. Nobody's made a Mod Weapon of 1 of those as of yet. I Got a few in Real Life, 1 in 6mm straight, 1 in 270, 1 in 280, 1 in 300 Win Mag, and 1 in a Custom 9.3 MM Cartridge. I have to either buy the Cartridges Custom made, or make them Myself as they're 1 off Cartridges and far as I know I'm the only 1 that has them, so it can be a slight pain.
Dak and Crew at it again. Actually, in the Real World "The Linda" can be given and has gotten "The Glock Switch" treatment. Linda is a nice little Carbine, but I prefer the Kel Tec, Hi Point, and especially the Ruger PC Carbine.
Very cool weapon! I have one question though, while i dont use munitions i still like the idea of having this weapon chambered in 9 mm. I use deadpool2099's 9mm pistol mod that comes with its own ammo. Would it be possible to add a compatibility patch for that mod? Keep up the good work! Edit: I just realized i could download FO4edit and work from there, but i still would like to know if you plan on adding the patch. In any case thanks again for the awesome mod!

Hmmm... You mentioned Forgotten Weapons... I think you just came up with an idea for your next ten million mods just from that one channel. I love all the variations on this one, and some of the details on each of the uniques, like the Nuka can supressor on the raider, the fighter art asthetic on the commonwealth unique, and the rack number on the stock for the riot unique. I don't think I've seen a mod from you yet that I didn't like. Again, I definitely think you are the modder to bring more Forgotten Weapons in to the commonwealth... Maybe even try to get a hole of Ian and ask him if he would have a problem with you making a mod series specifically to bring some of the more obscure weapons he's covered into the game, perhaps?
Would be nice to see the Sherry and Diane (also very real) to compliment the Linda and Terry. Who doesn't like guns named after one's children and spouse?
In a rare occurrence I find myself actually wishing Fallout 4 was a little more like Starfield - the Civil Unrest variant would be perfect for the stun mechanics in that game.
I like the weapon but to be honest I'm not fond of the animation. It is good but has style choices that I don't like. At the end of reload and weapon equip it "bounces" the weapon and I find it silly. I managed to remove it in the Tactical Reload and reload, but in the reload, at the end the character skids a lot and I don't know how to fix it. But your mesh and texture making improved along the years, specially the textures.
I think a newer gun that looks retro that would fit fallout 4 is the Henry homesteader. You can make a pistol carbine in that design and take some chambering from the Marlin Camp gun for basically all pistol rounds.

Well, Fallout 4 has a very 50s aesthetic. It's either that or ugly, oddly-colored polymer, I reckon. I, for one, welcome the wood furniture. He did make an "Infiltrator" SMG a while back that had no wood in it, though. Based on a Chinese design, I believe.
I'd love to see the police skin variant added as an optional file to equip the Common Wealth Police Department from Sim Settlements 2 with it. Great work as always, instant download.
Nice to see a new lore-friendly MP/SMG type weapon mod. Most of the mods for this type of weapon seem to be modern-day (often MW ports). Add to that the versatility of being able to convert to a carbine and have it benefit from different perks and this makes for one of the best weapon mods I’ve seen in awhile

Yes because its more logical to for a bunch of different mods to require one big overhaul instead of every 9mm requring a different gun mod and every .357 requiring a different a different gun mod and every 20 gauge requiring a different gun mod, ect ect. There's a patch for the 9mm pistol to use munitions version.
He also said there's a vanilla version to just use 10mm. And yeah munitions kinda sucks if you're on xbox but pc there's patches for literally everything
9 MM is just .38 in Europe. See the .38 isn't really .38 in. across. In the U.S. calibres are more likely to be trademarked brands than actually measured bullets. That's how you get revolvers that fire .410 shotgun shells and .45 Colt. .380 ACP is 9mm x17. 9mm parabellum is almost the same as .38 special except of course for one having a rimless base to fit in magazine and the rimmed base to fit in a revolver. Also a carbine is just a shortened version of a rifle so there are already carbines in Fallout 4. I'm not sure they're any good but they exist.

I would much prefer that it would use .38 instead. Nothing uses that caliber but everything goes for 10mm or .45.

I love this weapon, honestly every riot weapon should be canon to the story because riot gear was so prevalent in New Vegas.

Fallout exists in a universe where oil is super rare, and plastics are made from oil, therefore plastics are also rare.
