It can't be emphasized enough what an evil person this man is. I can't imagine someone stealing my parent's life away, my whole world, and then rolling their eyes like it means nothing. I pray that these people can heal not only from what happened that day but from the trauma that his actions during this entire court process have inflicted on them

Well usually this is supposed to happen in a background story of a horror movie NOT an actual real thing someone is supposed to experience. Idk it's just a reminder of what can happen, especially in these times. Sadly We're moving past any social norms where this type of thing doesn't typically happen so we should probably expect more of these types of crimes in the future.

If anyone was deserving of the death penalty it is Darrell Brooks. It’s extremely unjust that he gets to live the rest of his life as these victims and victims families have to live out theirs with continued grief and pain in their hearts.

It speaks to his rejection of professional lawyers. He bristled at their advice that he offer compassion, remorse, or contrition for the lives he took. He decided to take a legal path that offered none of that, and he agreed to every piece of legal retribution that is coming his way.
It is too hard to watch these people's pain, especially when the creep who is responsible has no remorse!

Darrell's mother failed everyone by continually bailing him out of jail, not holding him accountable for his actions since he was little, and for letting him drive her vehicle as a weapon! our legal system, for all of its faults, allowing victim impact statements is one thing I really like about it. It really helps the victims with their healing.
I hate the fact that he is writing and not listening to this impact statement, like I said earlier pipe it into his cell 24/7, Brooks deserves no mercy.
Pretty silly at this point that he still has that phone book out that he's pretending is a Bible.
He won't get away with that behavior in prison. He broke the code.

@@bobbyseals007 you generally don't hurt children or the elderly, as they're the most vulnerable. So, he'll probably have a very bad life in prison once the inmates hear that he's the mass murderer. And the judge took his commissary too, so he's gonna have a very hard time even getting a bar of soap or a book. He's gonna go insane, and I only wish there was a livefeed to watch his every dead, sad moment in his cage.
@@bobbyseals007 ever heard the phrase, "professionals have standards"? Basically even criminals okie there's a line you shouldn't cross. Harming children is one of those lines. A lot of convicts are very family oriented, sometimes that's the reason they are there, or have kids, so they would not be too happy if their kids lives were taken
There are three levels of sewer life. 1. Humans above ground. 2. Rats and roaches in sewer. 3. Below is the sewerage and Darrell Brooks. He is not an animal, and he insults monsters by even being compared to one. I am amazed that he even believes we don't see through his poor acting, Bible as a prop, fake tears. Perhaps if he had a woman to beat he could be more comfortable and not have to roll eyes and shake and roll his head. Such a waste of air on him. I'm 85 and he's brought out the worse in me.

I’m 56 yo male very caring and loving and harmless but I GET what you’re feeling. I’d love to run him over repeatedly with an 18 wheeler until he is flat as a sheet of paper. Even that wouldn’t be harsh enough punishment

This woman is so powerful. At one point she says she doesnt know what this empty feeling is. I lost my Dad 4 years ago. He was taken from us by a greedy person. It took me along time to understand what the feeling is the woman is describing. I now describe that feeling as being an orphan. Ive never felt more alone. I hope and pray this woman, her family and all of the victims can find some peace soon.

I'm sorry u have felt the same pain. I can't imagine my mom (she died long ago) being taken from my life in this way. I don't think I could handle being around the person who did it without ending up in prison myself. For HURTING my mom or even for any fear she may have experienced.

I'm baffled by how the feds didn't pick this case up and this is just moving on in the state level.
The feds don't deal with these type of cases. They're never meant to do so. A case like this is jurisdiction for the States.

Well why didn’t he do what was right when he saw these people infront of him and hit the brakes and where were his Christian values when he saw Jane Kulich on the hood of his car injured after being struck by him and instead of stopping to help her, he hit the brakes just to throw her off and run her over a second time? His defense was not just to stall, delay, disrupt and intimidate but to play off of people’s sympathy, yet he had no sympathy for those he encountered on November 21st, 2021. He is not a man traumatized by past or with mental health issues that caused him to do what he did, he is just a man who fundamentally lacks Character, he lacked gratitude for what he did have in life like being out on bond for a ridiculously low cost as well as his children which is more than what most people have, he lacked courage to face what he did, accept responsibility and take what was coming to him, he lacked strength to ignore his anger and move on with his life to become a better person, and he lacked love not only for himself but for others. Instead of moving on with his life and letting go of things he couldn’t have he decided to take them from others by using the lowest method anybody could use, Violence. In other words it wasn’t enough he was upset and miserable he needed everyone to be miserable with him. What he did was destroy families and communities by taking 6 innocent lives from them and traumatized the rest. Darrell brooks is unfortunately living proof that evil does exist in this world and he’s got nothing positive to contribute to society!
