-Car was purchased from Baron MINI in Kansas City
-The accents are called John Cooper Works Pro
-Stripes are Chili Red
-The car automatically blips the throttle when you downshift so you don't have to rev match
-My mother named the car "Apollo", the car is moonwalk gray.. connect the dots
It's amazing how many owners of newer minis had a mini before.
It's like the same people who were fans 10 years ago, are still big enough fans to get newer mini's
Late to the party but nice presentation. We picked up a 2015 Cooper “fully loaded” off lease with 21000 miles. Only missing head-up display. Sadly not a manual but in sport mode nice & quick off a stop. I missed my manual 06 S & found another gently used one…
That is one mad looking mini. Your mom has very good taste, and I am sure you have tons of fun with it too. These new minis are really growing on me.

The warning of cold temp is so you are aware that there are icing conditions on the roads. Most cars have had this since 2001
Sweet ride man. I feel like the way you have it equipped is about the best bang for your buck in the minis, with the exception of the Harman Kardon sound option. So many review cars come with everything nearly for almost $40k, lol. Cool style with the red and grey too. I'm between Pepper white and Brittish Racing Green myself. As for reviewing a stick shift while driving, you just need to get a suction cup mount for the window so you can just drive and talk. Cheers!
I love the British Racing Green! If we could've built this one we would've added heated seats, Harmon Kardon, and a sunroof but other than that the other options would be nice but rarely used.

Very nice car! Personally I find black + moonwalk grey a bit boring. But with the additional red it really looks amazing and very unique. Lots of nice little details. Well done!

Nice looking Mini. Except for the JCW steering wheel I personally don't really like the JCW red/carbon accessories but that's my personal opinion. Love the red stripes with the moonwalk grey color. I was either going for the moonwalk grey or the midnight black and ended up with the black one. A nice addition that is not too expensive is upgrading it with the stock JCW exhaust. Amazing sound! Have fun with the car but I'm sure that won't be a problem :-)
We actually just removed the muffler and second resonator for more sound and it really does sound nice!

Just got a 2017 all black "S". My second one but first "S". Great car, if you buy a hardtop you must buy the bigger engine. I'll have it for 3 years and still not no half of what the guy in the video knows. I still can't figure out the radio.

Nice video. Question. I bought a 2015 similar to yours and the shift schematic is not visible on the knob. My question is does the shift schematic on your car illuminate when turned on? If you see this thanks.
This car did not have an illuminated shift knob. I am not familiar with any MINI models with the illuminated shift pattern on the knob.
hello, i bought the cooper s with automatic trasmission.. do i really need the Dynamic Damper Control???? or i can have the same effect driving faster ??????
The dynamic damper control controls the stiffness of the ride electronically when you switch it in and out of sport mode

Yes you could, they'll even install for you
OK last question would the stripes look better on moonwalk grey or Thunder grey?
I think they'd look great on either. It just depends if you want to have a darker color or not.

How do you set the ambient lights to disco mode?
Just hold the toggle that you use to change the color forward until it cycles through every color and then it'll flash and be set to disco mode

Does it has reverse camera?
In this car there is no display to display the reverse camera, so it doesn't have one. But there are minis with reverse camera (usually combined with the navigation system etc)
