Really early to judge, but wow. Looks like they took the horror suspense and turned it into an action game.

Ouch. This looks really bad. The fog looks cheap, the enemys look like rubber, the new music sounds terrible and soundeffects sound like rotten fruits. To me this looks like a beta. Maybe it gets better but the current state is really alarming.
this is probably a game build from like mid 2023 when Konami wanted to have a trailer prepared. I’m pretty sure the version they are working on right now is far superior graphically and gameplay wise.

Well, that’s what remakes are. But how they made the fog like that is ok. And why the weapon sfx sounds bad is probably bc they need to make it more realistic like real life.
Eh it looks OK, kinda reminds of The Last of Us with it slow movement and weighted strikes. I'd say add an unsteadyness to James so that he's not at all agile or reactive.

Wait and see. We only saw what they want us to see through the trailer for now. May be this will be more enjoyable to play than to watch.
as long as it is not rushed we'll be ok, just keep it faithful to the original and what they do change do it carefully.
It's Leon if he had any sense to leave Raccoon City but did a horror movie move and went to Silent Hill instead.

I had high hopes for this, they had the blueprint to what could be a great game. Instead, they are giving us resident evil mechanics. I've cancelled my pre order ill wait to see what it's like on release 😢

Interesting psychological fact: most people are saying that the game is bad not because it actually is...but because they were already afraid that it would be bad because the producer is Bloober Team...in other words , as the expectation is already negative, no matter what the producer does, the majority will find it bad, as the expectation was already that it would be bad... the brain then creates arguments to corroborate this statement... not because the game or the trailer are actually bad
I was was looking forward to seeing it first before any judgment, but considering what they have shown on their gameplay trailer, it looks underwhelmingly bad.
I am judging by what my eyes have seen so far and not expectations!
Silent Hill as a franchise has always been niche .. it was never this huge main stream thing … and the combat in every single one especially 1-4 was bad .. some say the bad combat added to the tension … but anyways .. a small AA. Studio like Bloober is perfect for the SH2 remake … and I’m excited to check it out when it comes out… this game is getting overhated imo

This is pathetic remake its like playing melee dead space. Classic euro jank. If anyone want to play original SH2 just get pc version and install enhanced edition patch and be done with it. Nobody can remake sh2 that game is unreachable. This looke like SILENT HILL DOWNPOUR 2
