Spider-giraffe? I believe you mean giraffnids, mammalian subspecies of the arachnid classification, characterized by lack of venom glands and inability to spin web. I don't remember these bozos in the spiderverse now that I think about it.

This feels like a combination of a fever dream and an adult swim episode, I wouldn't be surprised if it was.

This game reminds me of one Sci fi horror movie that took place in Antarctica, where few scientists discovered an Alien creature frozen in ice for thousand of years and awaken and mutated most of the scientists into deadlier organisim in the universe.
That is the prequel/remake of The Thing. Search The Thing 2011.

I just want to know why are they killing people to feed the animals
my theory is it's a post apocalypse parasite hellscape and the zoo is being used as a sort of noahs ark of few remaining uninfected animals. so since the other wild animals are all dead or horribly mutated from parasites, there's no farm animals to use as a source of meat to feed the animals. so they just pick some prisoner humans and sentence them to death by meat grinder to help with maintaining the zoo. Like if there are enough people to maintain all this infrastructure, build the technology used in game, and create tv shows and stuff, then it could mean a cure of sorts was made for humans, allowing them to survive the parasite plague.
But naturally, that could also mean that humans were THE ONLY large mammals to gain immunity to survive the plague. So there might literally be no pigs or cows left for meat. or at least none that could be spared from their own carefully managed anti-parasite sanctuaries being maintained like the zoo is to await cures.
Could also help explain why Australia is exploding with spiders. Bugs could be some of the only wild animals left that are immune to the parasites. And without the birds and mammals and stuff to eat them, the population of bugs are exploding worldwide. And if the goal is to make cures for each different species of animal, then that could mean a larger goal of repopulating the earth in the future with parasite immune animals. Especially if the zoo has a stockpile of frozen genetic material for stuff like IVF treatments on the remaining animals to prevent inbreeding.

Considering these animals are infected with something, and human beings are also animals...would we see a infected human? It would be pretty cool, like if we got to hire new people and observe them to see if they are healing or infecting the animals, if you are not careful you would also get infected and get a bad ending or sum

this game looks really fun ngl
interesting, its almost as if this is more of a quarantine/hospital center for these infested animals, the caretaker seems to be awfully chill about these monsters as if he knows there's a potential for them to mutate and go berserk? not to mention the fact that hes casually grinding up humans and turning them into food for these animals. plus using a tranquilizer instead of idk a makeshift flamethrower like any sane person would use in this situation. wonder if there's like a CURE THEM ALL ENDING.
This seems like the game would almost be as stressful as actually working for a zoo 🤣
