Little Devil Inside is a truly engaging 3D action adventure RPG game where you are thrown into a surreal but somewhat familiar setting with humans, creatures and monsters to interact with, learn and hunt - journey, survive and discover the world that exists beyond.
This game is not just about killing arch-demons and saving the world. Take in the atmosphere and live a realistic life in an unrealistic world. This is a game that tells stories about people with 'unusual' jobs such as hunting monsters and what happens in their everyday life doing so.
Little Devil Inside is fundamentally an exploration focused survival action RPG game. Although it sounds elaborate, it all makes perfect sense to us.
Compared to some other games of this genre in the past, the game focuses more on ordinary everyday life. As in real life, where a hard week's work is rewarded by a relaxing or refreshing weekend, we wanted to create a world and provide elements within it where you can return back to town (or your home) after an adventurous mission to regather and reequip - a definite environmental contrast. Unlike some other survival games, there will be a home town or city to return to and rest and prepare for your next mission. The town itself will have its own set of events and elements to interact with.
The game will not be about entering dungeons, killing at a monster as quickly as you can and returning to town to obtain rewards.
The pace of the game will be like a long journey.
You will need to prepare for any unexpected encounters with the weather, have the necessary intel about the region, equip your gear as you see fit, get on a vehicle and react to unexpected events that arise during your journey. Depending on how you prepare for the mission and how you react and respond to events will determine how easily or hard you can achieve the missions.
There will be public transportation as well as vehicles you can control, maintain and upgrade yourself.
Using transportation doesn't necessarily mean taking a short cut to your missions. However, it'll be faster than legging it! Even on public transportation (such as a train) you will be within a scene (such as sitting and looking out the window) during the time to your destination and unexpected events may arise.
Events may be good or bad - you may run into another character that side spins off to a mini mission or offer help with your current mission, the train may come under attack and you may have to get out and fight etc.

NOTE: The first 6 minutes of this video is NEW gameplay, the rest is old footage that dates back all the way from 2021-2015. The game still has no release date as of yet so here is every piece of gameplay footage released so far combined into one video.
The devs also released an update post on their Kickstarter on why the game is taking so long to release. Here it is:

Began with a dream of two brothers. You supported. We became a team, then grew into a company and tried many hands to make light work.
Along the way in all efforts to making a great game, many great people have come and gone. People with respectable but different purposes and pursuits.
In sharing these differences and thoughts, we were sometimes touched and moved and sometimes in conflict. We are responsible for not being able to embrace the differences.
And of course, sincere apologies to you all.
So now, we’re back to a smaller, bonded team with a single, common purpose - just to make a great game.
And all our core founding and starting members still here with the duty and conscience to fulfill what we set out to do.

Was scared this game got lost in development hell, I love everything about the art style and tone.
I like the art style, game play, voice narrator, and storytelling.
Scammed everyone in kickstarted and ten years later we get another proof of development 😂

the more i see of this game the more i am confused on what it is really doing but i am intrigued by it.
It is like a single player more story focused "Monster hunter" game, combined with the overworld map design of the old final fantasys

31:08 so what semingly happend here was either you were betrayed or ambushed or attacked and you were thrown down a well where you woude wake up to see that everthing you had your weapons,gear,resorcus,tools exstra were stolen by raiders or your partner who betrayed you and you were left with nothing but your steed im also willing to bet that your were ambushed or whatever by the ruin with the camp fire
I REALLY like the visual style, but WOW does he seem to move at a snails pace when he walks. Bump that up 2x. He's not 85 years old with a bad hip. That would bug the hell out of me after a few hours.
Just release it already looks more than finished if someone can make 40min of gameplay clips game is done. The combat in the early stages looks better so the devs are already overthinking trying over prefect
Is it just me or does the creature at 4:35 have it's animations ripped straight from Monster Hunter's Yian Kut-Ku?
Yeah they were a little too “inspired”.
Most of the early UI is also ripped straight from the game Below. I want this game to be good, but in every clip I've seen it feels pretty directionless outside of 'nice art.'
예전엔 그렇게 생각한 적이 있었다. 어떤 게임이든 충분한 개발과 역량을 집어넣어 완벽하게 발매 해야 한다고.
하지만 이제는 그렇게 생각하지 않는다. 게임은 타이밍이라고 그렇게 생각한다.
어떤 게임이든 최종 결과물이 좋을 순 있겠지만 영화나 각종 미디어 매체 들에서 나오는 것들을 보면
게임도 마찬가지로 판매 이익을 얻을 수 있는 초기가 중요한데 그 시점을 점점 놓쳐 가는 것 같다
한국 국산 게임이라 기대도 많이 했지만 지금까지 아직 안 나왔으면 발매를 할 것인지 의 의문도 든다
다행스럽게도 계약한 걸로 알고 있는데, 그렇다면 일정 퀄리티 이상은 보장 될 것이라 생각이 들기도 한다

The camera in the current build looks soooooo zoomed out in large open spaces … and I’m not even talking about that overworked thing they have , you can’t even tell what’s happening in combat at times for the reason it’s so far back and at an angle

That’s not gameplay. It’s just another the day before. They already got investments even from SONY. They are just scamming!
crazy how this game scammed so many people on kickstarter, promising a WiiU copy of the game and now after 10 years they will have nothing....a trade for this game...the new one "the day before". these are the only things they've accomplished in 10 years, maybe.

Doubt they intentionally scammed people. That’s always the risk with Kickstarter. Sometimes things don’t work out. Game and product Development are very difficult.
