- Little Devil Inside, there you are! I was both shocked and excited to see this game again after such a long wait. It's been a jaw dropping 2 years and 4 months since the last trailer, but finally, we have something new to see.
So, how's it looking? I thought I'd go over the latest gameplay video and Neostream's recent Kickstarter statement. I hope you enjoy!
I anticipate it being quite a polarising subject, so please do let me know your opinion so we can have a healthy discussion.

This game went from one of the games I was really hyped for to just completely taking it off my radar. At this point it’s ready when it’s ready.
Yeah I'm feeling the same way. Will be happy when it's out, no doubt about that. I'm just not eagerly anticipating it as much as I was before.

It does! I've always been drawn in by the beauty and mystery of it all and how weird the world looks. I'm really hoping they're able to deliver!
I think a decent parallel example game is _Biomutant,_ great trailer, lots of hype, time passes, dev pops up to say things aren't going well, time passes, new trailer comes out, things look slightly off, game comes out and is fine, playable, but ultimately disappointing because it went through development hell and can't/doesn't live up to the initial hype it generated. (and it was only a 5 year delay)
It'd be great if LDI turns out to both materialize and be every bit as charming and polished as we were led to believe it would be, but the likely reality is that a game will eventually come out when it's in a playable enough state (which it obviously isn't) and it'll be a 6/10 game. I hope I'm wrong, but there's every indication I won't be.
I mean honestly I get it I myself am an aspiring game developer and it’s really really really hard there’s so much that goes into it and losing people you thought would be with you until the end of development hurts well… development I made like 2 videos on my channel and basically fell off the face of the earth I’m still working on my game but I’m now doing everything completely alone and had to learn a lot of stuff on my own I’m excited for this game it’s clearly a game of passion so when it does come out I’ll buy it and play it I want to support the dream these 2 brothers have and I hope the game is great

Definitely does seem the way. I'm really hoping the cycle has been broken now, though!
I know, this game is a TRUE MASTERPIECE and NEEDS to have a reliable release window soon. But the art style is so refreshing, especialy in compare to the non creative, repetitive and dull looking games that are now releasing till date. Creating good and pro artwork needs time; I still wait patiently.

I have emailed them multiple times through the years haha. Think we all have their backing. Only wish they would tell us why the long silence and going forward release mini updates each month.

Why does a game that doesn't look photorealistic even need to be built in Unreal Engine 5? I guess that means it's no longer coming out for the Switch?

Do you mean the PS5 announcement? If so, yes, but the game was actually announced way back in 2015. It has a super long and interesting history!
i absolutely adore this game, but lets look it in a less than favorable light.
What they showed, as far as February 2024, doesn't show much, we dont know the gameplay loop, we don't know what the quest look like, we saw the research bits in the latest trailer but that doesn't tell much, they show concepts but nothing in depth

Wow, it's interesting that you say that because I'm the exact same way. I'm just as excited about this as I am RDR2, and I love RDR2. I'll definitely be buying this at launch, whenever that may be.

its obvious what they are doing, they want to beat duke nukem forever and have the longest development hell for a game along with beyond good and evil 2.

I think its a scam or an overambitious project that never went beyond the state of a big vertical slice ... But I hardly doubt that there will ever be something like a game . I mean 10 years and all you got is clunky gameplay and bad performance , and yet no release date ...lol . Reminds me so much of the day before...
