Hi DGN, I really learnt a lot from your demonstration video and highly appreciate your hardwork. I just have a question and hope you will clear my misunderstanding, at 14:00 when you were taking the exit from the roundabout you checked the left mirror and saw a car behind but still gave a left signal which made the car behind you to reduce his speed and let you took the exit. Is this manoeuvre acceptable in real practical test as I learnt that our actions shouldn't make other road users to change their speed or direction when pulling out or when emerging junction. @@revmachine2023 They were probably also taking that exit, otherwise they wouldn't have been directly behind him unless they just entered from the previous entrance, but yeah, on a roundabout there's a sequence that happens, the driver behind you usually knows your intentions, that's why staying in the correct lane,& using signals is so important, oh and always check left mirror before exiting, just to double check someone ISN'T following the sequence,& trying to quickly pass by on the left (which would mean they don't know what they're doing and would be completely in the wrong. To be honest, I don't know why that car would have been so close to him that he'd need to slow down , sounds like he could have been a little too close. If anything the driver behind him would be in the wrong for driving too close, you would not get marked down for that. He did it exactly as it should be done. The test isn't hard. People wind you up, (mostly we wind ourselves up worrying about every detail, and probably your driving instructor is picking on small stuff. When taking the test they're more lenient than you'd think. I DO NOT RECOMMEND MOCK TESTS. ...That is NOT how the real test is. It'll just upset you, & you could be discouraged.

For the guys who are going for test: I HAVE FAILED TWO TIMES, and I was fed up I almost gave up for test. thought I’m good driver especially when u have driving experience. But the truth it’s not about assessors or luck. JUST LEARN THE RULES FOLLOW THE RULES AND MOST IMPORTANTLY PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE, I have pumped the fuels many times and practiced well for days. and I have showed 3rd time with my car after I got too many practice. And now successfully passed. My advice to the guys who are going to do exam. 1. Never Panic or Hesitate 2. Believe that you are the best driver in the wold and you are going to teach how to drive to assessors 3. Never speed up 4. Never compare with experience driver 5. Just follow the rules 6. Don’t care about other drivers just be calm and slow and drive 7. PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE My best wishes to the guys who are going to do the exam. Remember if you fail never give up if pass never forget the mistakes that you have done . Just managemed to get a cancelation for tomorrow I haven't had any lessons in a month but doing it in my mums car which I have been learning in so hopefully I can get it done

I passed my test today with only 3 minors and I watched this video before I left along with watching your mock tests and other videos for months. The ultimate driving course helped me so much too! I was incredibly nervous and really convinced myself I wouldn’t be able to do it but as soon as I got in the car on my test my nerves really eased and I was fully focused and it went well! I just kept thinking ‘I have to just try my best.’ The biggest thing is preparing and learning as much as you can & BELIEVING IN YOURSELF. That’s key! For anyone reading this feeling anxious or scared about the test, hold on to the hope and belief that you can do anything you put your mind to!!!❤️

Passed 2 hours ago, I'm over the moon. I thought I was never gonna pass lol. The best advice I can give is just try and focus and drive perfectly for 20 minutes. And before you know it, the test will be over. It's also easier than you think. And just because you might've failed, doesn't mean you're not ready.
I'm preparing for my test which is in 7 days and I'm so scared. I have anxiety and I usually get anxious when I drive someone in the back. I'm also scared to park lol but I hope that everything will be fine. Thank you for making these videos, they help a lot! Edit: I passed💜

I watched your videos and passed with 2 minors yesterday. Thanks so much for all this important work you do for us! I'm so happy. A bit of advice, when on your test take your instructor with you if you can, have a mock test a couple of hours before real test and treat the actual exam as a driving lesson. LISTEN to the instructions given, repeat them aloud if you to and follow through what you've been asked to do. You can do it. Good luck everyone x

Passed 2 years ago with 1 minor. Totally monged up my reverse parking manoeuvre. Honestly, despite already passing my test, I still feel like a shit driver.
Passed today first time with 4 minors! I did 20 hours of lessons. I was 50/50 sure if I'm gonna make it but here I am🥳 Good luck to everyone! Don't worry even if you think you did a mistake, stay focused and keep in mind your instructor's advice because he is the one who seen your driving and knows your common mistakes

Great video. I'm currently learning to drive and find it quite difficult due to being anxious. I feel like everything is a blur at times like some sort of sensory overload. You dont need to be anxious, if u can control the car, everything it's just fine :). Maybe just a little bit stressed out on exam if u r very emotional, but driving it's not hard :). Good luck on getting ur driver license.

Good tip: when you say 'only a fool breaks the 2 second rule' it takes about 2 seconds to say it so when a car infront passes a lampost or sign say it to yourself. helped me judge the 2 second gap
Another trick is counting onethousandandone (1001), onethousandandtwo(1002), and up to 1004-5 if weather is bad, when passing a mark to help keep a safe distance to the car infront.
Got my 4th test this Thursday I just can’t pass! My examiner was so nice last time he said he’s gutted to have to fail me but I’m letting my nerves get the better of me, so annoying I’ve got a car already and sick of driving with people now. I hate anxiety 😭 not to mention the money I’ve spent.
You will pass next time, I was same about to give up, I was failing for silly mistakes and was so angry, but finally on the 4th attempt I passed. I think it’s all about how you feel on the day, maybe one thing which can be helpful try to book your test early in the morning and do not drive on the day when you have your test. Good luck.
Mohammed Altaf he was so nice too I’ve had him twice now, this time at the end of my test he actually spoken to me for around 10 minutes giving me nothing but advice and a confidence boost. He said he can tell I drove my own car a lot and I am a good driver but he felt like I was overthinking any little mistake I thought I’d made. Going to use all his advice this Thursday! They aren’t all scary, I just hate the awkward silence when you don’t know someone 😂😂

Watch and listen when he's saying: "Center mirror, left mirror, indicate left or right mirror, indicate right. That is really important to follow. Examiner will constantly check your eyes. I reckon that if I’d had you as a driving instructor, I would have passed first time, but sadly I live in London and I was learning automatic. Been driving a few years now but there’s always something to learn. Especially that to anticipate what the other road users might do and be prepared in case they don’t indicate or pull off when it’s not their turn etc. I really enjoy your videos, very informative. I like your patience and explanations of the lessons.

I failed my driving test in December due to not checking blind spot as the car swung out in a parallel park. Thanks for your videos and detailed explanations. I passed my driving test today with 1 minor in my 2nd attempt. Your videos really helped me with overall positioning, roundabout lane selection, observations. I would say sometime even if your a good driver its difficult to pass if you are nervous and too much tensed. During my 1st attempt I was given a major fault for hesitation to pull in into the traffic from the kerbside parking. I was continuously looking into the rear mirror as I could clearly see the car coming from behind, instead I should have done rear mirror and blindspot. Also like Pin says in the video, be prepared.
For me, videos like this of actual situations are easier to get to grips with rather than a load of books you have to read and look at stills or cartoon images

Got my driving test tomorrow morning, it's my first attempt ever. Hopefully I pass and that be a good end of 2022. Edit: Happy New Year! I passed my test with only 1 minor on 31st Dec 2022. This channel was a massive help and taught me a lot of different techniques outside of my actual lessons. Let's say my instructor noticed what I picked up and asked if I was driving with someone else as I massively improved since a previous lesson which obviously helped me pass my test in the end. My advice is to study as much as possible, watch videos from different creators and my biggest one would be after a lesson (eg: you performed parallel parking for the first time) look for videos on that and get some extremely helpful tips and continue doing that. Always keep on top of it all might be a bore but it's definitely worth it in the end! Good luck mate!

A good thing to remember is that you aren’t trying to show that you’re a great driver, you’re trying to show that you’re a safe driver, that’s all the examiner is looking for

Passed 2 hours ago, I'm over the moon. I thought I was never gonna pass lol. The best advice I can give is just try and focus and drive perfectly for 20 minutes. And before you know it, the test will be over. It's also easier than you think. And just because you might've failed, doesn't mean you're not ready.

Just a little concerned with your left hand constantly leave the steering wheel the wheel while making this video even though very helpful but early on The video you’re on coming towards the park car and you scraped past while the van passes you you could’ve eased off letting that van pass instead of squeezing past I’m showing this to my daughter for tips how to pass and I’m sorry to say I’m not best impressed but that’s me and my opinion sorry bud

I watched your videos and passed with 2 minors yesterday. Thanks so much for all this important work you do for us! I'm so happy. A bit of advice, when on your test take your instructor with you if you can, have a mock test a couple of hours before real test and treat the actual exam as a driving lesson. LISTEN to the instructions given, repeat them aloud if you to and follow through what you've been asked to do. You can do it. Good luck everyone x
Success to all those preparing for their driving test, just passed mine once with 3 minors on 27th sept... Super relieved from test tension, though not perfect driver yet but safe driver.
Passed 2 years ago with 1 minor. Totally monged up my reverse parking manoeuvre. Honestly, despite already passing my test, I still feel like a shit driver.

Passed today first time with 4 minors! I did 20 hours of lessons. I was 50/50 sure if I'm gonna make it but here I am🥳
Good luck to everyone! Don't worry even if you think you did a mistake, stay focused and keep in mind your instructor's advice because he is the one who seen your driving and knows your common mistakes

You dont need to be anxious, if u can control the car, everything it's just fine :). Maybe just a little bit stressed out on exam if u r very emotional, but driving it's not hard :). Good luck on getting ur driver license.

Good tip: when you say 'only a fool breaks the 2 second rule' it takes about 2 seconds to say it so when a car infront passes a lampost or sign say it to yourself. helped me judge the 2 second gap
Another trick is counting onethousandandone (1001), onethousandandtwo(1002), and up to 1004-5 if weather is bad, when passing a mark to help keep a safe distance to the car infront.
Another good trick is to just count to two.
Got my 4th test this Thursday I just can’t pass! My examiner was so nice last time he said he’s gutted to have to fail me but I’m letting my nerves get the better of me, so annoying I’ve got a car already and sick of driving with people now. I hate anxiety 😭 not to mention the money I’ve spent.
You will pass next time, I was same about to give up, I was failing for silly mistakes and was so angry, but finally on the 4th attempt I passed.
I think it’s all about how you feel on the day, maybe one thing which can be helpful try to book your test early in the morning and do not drive on the day when you have your test.

Mohammed Altaf he was so nice too I’ve had him twice now, this time at the end of my test he actually spoken to me for around 10 minutes giving me nothing but advice and a confidence boost. He said he can tell I drove my own car a lot and I am a good driver but he felt like I was overthinking any little mistake I thought I’d made. Going to use all his advice this Thursday! They aren’t all scary, I just hate the awkward silence when you don’t know someone 😂😂

I reckon that if I’d had you as a driving instructor, I would have passed first time, but sadly I live in London and I was learning automatic. Been driving a few years now but there’s always something to learn. Especially that to anticipate what the other road users might do and be prepared in case they don’t indicate or pull off when it’s not their turn etc. I really enjoy your videos, very informative. I like your patience and explanations of the lessons.

Thanks for your videos and detailed explanations. I passed my driving test today with 1 minor in my 2nd attempt. Your videos really helped me with overall positioning, roundabout lane selection, observations. I would say sometime even if your a good driver its difficult to pass if you are nervous and too much tensed. During my 1st attempt I was given a major fault for hesitation to pull in into the traffic from the kerbside parking. I was continuously looking into the rear mirror as I could clearly see the car coming from behind, instead I should have done rear mirror and blindspot. Also like Pin says in the video, be prepared.
For me, videos like this of actual situations are easier to get to grips with rather than a load of books you have to read and look at stills or cartoon images

Edit: Happy New Year! I passed my test with only 1 minor on 31st Dec 2022. This channel was a massive help and taught me a lot of different techniques outside of my actual lessons.
Let's say my instructor noticed what I picked up and asked if I was driving with someone else as I massively improved since a previous lesson which obviously helped me pass my test in the end.

My advice is to study as much as possible, watch videos from different creators and my biggest one would be after a lesson (eg: you performed parallel parking for the first time) look for videos on that and get some extremely helpful tips and continue doing that.
Always keep on top of it all might be a bore but it's definitely worth it in the end! Good luck mate!

I passed mine last week, my examiner was the soundest bloke ever, the 40 minutes felt like 5 minutes.
I took my first test and failed it because I wasn’t being cautious enough. My driving skills were good but I have to be more cautious.
