If you think about it, there could’ve been no way to be “late”. It’s possible that Sheperd sent the kill order as soon as they got the DSM from Roach and Ghost because you can hear background radio chatter during their deaths about the snipers from the very beginning of the mission being “neutralized” and whatnot. So no way for Price and Soap to have saved their teammates because they were dead before they learned they were getting betrayed. :(
Man, this is the one and only Call of Duty whose story I have truly cared about. This is also the best use of quick time events I have ever seen in any game, and the soundtrack is just perfect. I remember calling this game "too futuristic" when I was young (probably because of the UI) but now after all the new CoD's coming out and after becoming a little bit older. I can say that this game is just modern
2010 - Best year in history of FPS games. No shooter will ever have the full package of game quality (especially ahead of its time), story line, amazing community, no trolling, and just plain nostalgiac fun.
2010, the year where you had full servers on Gears of War 2, GTA IV, MW2, Halo 3, World at War, and MW1. Plus, you were waiting on Halo Reach and Black Ops. Man, what a year.
This will always be one of the best Call of Duty's, if not, the best. They took everything from their past game and built upon it perfectly. The amount of effort and time is evident, unlike games today...I liked the idea of having separate profiles within the split screen offline gameplay. It just adds an extra advantage to the game's arsenal of enjoyment. One of its biggest props is that It doesn't require an online profile to actually have fun with the game. Most games today rely on the online gameplay and half ass the rest.
The MW should be made into a movie the story line is up there with some of the greatest war films that come out in theaters. When soap died I nearly cried you grow up with these characters. From soap going into selection to being captain. I didn't see that coming when it happened. Top actors portrayed these characters too. Edris Elba, William fitchner. Michael Fassbender would be the perfect casting for Captain Price. Tom Hardy as soap.

I played this game about 5-6 years ago and I still remember the amount of fun I had seeing this makes me sad that a can't play this again but happy that I had the joy if playing it thank you for unlocking one of my favourite memories
It's not just the story guys but the multiplayer also. This game has the best multiplayer hands down. And honestly, there's no greater feeling than when you get a nuke on multiplayer. *sigh* I miss those times.
