This is simply amazing! I almost program it by hand. Thank you Wix Fix!
Super helpful, thank you very much!
Hi, thanks for the tutorial - is it possible to add animation between states such as a fade? So there isn't a hard cut.
Would it be possible to layer on more filters. So for example filter by beginner and then also by allergens or ingredients etc
Does this work with search fields i.e text inputs?
Is there a way to change order of options with code? I have exactly the problem you have described - there is unwanted alphabetical order. Or maybe its possible to add 3 checkboxes separately that filter 1 property from CMS each, and just place it in a correct way on the site?
The issue with this is that it does not allow you to use two names per field. Having a book with two authors will show two authors next to each other instead of under each other. Only with a code I was able to create this.
In addition, many users want the filter to remain active so they can keep going back and forth from listing to title and back. Without code it keeps resetting. I wish this could be done without the need of a code.
Hey, is there an easy way to filter by date?
Hi Ryan,
Working with filters is good, but the thing I want to know about is how to connect the repeater to the filter. As I connected the dropdown with the database but it won't display any option to select.
Unfortunately, without seeing your editor, it is hard to tell you what could be going on. But make sure your repeater and filter elements are connected to the correct database element, make sure you have options in the collection for the filter to pull from. If that all has already been checked, then maybe this is a beta feature? We have a video showing you how to get beta features but I am not sure it is one.
@@wixfix I used two datasets with the same collection one for the filter dropdown and the other for the product repeater. Maybe this is something that I did wrong
Can you do this for a shop
I believe you can, but I haven't tested it myself.
