OMG this is the best vid literally on this topic. I am sure now that Wix doeasn't want us to know this just to get people to "hire the professional"
I find it absurd that ALL I need is more variations of products and Wix is saying I have to go this route in order to do that. I don't understand why they limit you to 15 variation images. I don't want to get this in depth nor have the time.
great tutorial playlist - and has helped me create a new product page - i did as you did and deleted and restarted the page - however, i cant find in your series how to add the 'next' & previous buttons which would be really handy.

Video was very helpful! With the custom page, can you link the custom product page to google merchat solutions instead of the standard product page? Also, is there any way to delete the stock product page?
Glad to hear! Do you mean to use the google merchant solutions as your custom product page instead of building one? What role would Wix Stores play if at all? (Please post to the forum if you would like a follow up)
Once you install Wix Stores I don't think you can delete the default product pages but worth a try.

Great question! You need to create a custom shop page using a repeater and the products dataset and set the links to the dynamic pages.
@@thewixwiz Thank you for the reply. I think I did not phrase the question right question. How can I link the new custom product page to the regular product page so that when client chooses the product from the store page the custom product page opens up rather than the regular product page.
@@ktcool4660 it is not possible to link the store to the custom product pages. That is why you have to build your own storefront. If you want to customize product pages so that they are still linked to the original store page please check out my original Custom Product Page video.
@@ktcool4660 dynamic 301 redirects might also be an option but can't confirm that at the moment.

Hi there, following along and thank you so much for this. I'm wondering if you know if/how you can add dynamic sections to the page. For example in your tutorial you're selling shoes. Let's say you're selling shoes from multiple manufacturers, manufacturer a, b, c, d etc. I'd like to be able to add a section that talks about the manufacturer of those shoes and for each pair of shoes that that manufacturer sells on your website. Similar to when looking at books on Amazon they have the "about the author" section.
Do you know if this is possible?

Yes you can! I think they would need to be on the same page and conditionally display based on the category of the product.

Hi i have a question, if i add a dynamic page i can select a list or item page... in your vide its calls Products(Slug) if i add a item page its calls Products(item) is thats the same or did wix take a change?
Hi, if I'm not mistaken what appears in the parenthesis is the field that is being used to generate the urls for the dynamic pages (when changed). Either way it is only a representation so if everything is working I wouldn't worry about it.
Hi , thanks for your video. I have a question about product page. In the page, right part is something like description, price, add to cart, and left part is image of product. So the 2 parts in the product section. My question is how to made the part of image is little thinner and another part is little wider. Thank you!
Are you talking about a custom product page? In that case you have full control over the design and the answer would depend on the editor you are using. Otherwise with the standard product page you have to work with the preset layouts and settings.

hello! i’m really struggling with figuring out how to enable a feature on the product page where you click on any of the images and it will then expand. i want someone to be able to click and have the product image expand or even be able to zoom in on the image to see greater detail. do you know if this is possible?

does making/customizing one product page automatically applies to all the products ?
If you build it as this tutorial shows, yes. It is possible to create multiple templates or individual designs if necessary.

Thanks for your support! You can set up a gallery field in your collection and link it through the dataset.
