How to set up store pages & add collections to individual pages in Wix - THE EASY WAY!

- If you've been tearing your hair out trying to set up our store pages and assign collections to individual pages in wix, i feel your pain. It's very confusing. So i've set up a simple method that makes everything much more simple and you can easily follow.

You are amazing! I was so confused by that “Collection” wording! Most videos whip through “how to” and it leaves you more confused! I was trying to use Corvid and trying to set up datasets, databases etc so I can edit for colour swatches. I can now can get my website up quicker now and fiddle on other things behind the scenes. I’ve been having this problem understanding how the Wix shop is set up for about a month now. Not being sure how to explain the problem but knowing something just didn’t seem to be making sense about it.
Last night before going to sleep, I started my routine to watch some Cavalier King Charles videos (they seem to put me in a good sleeping mood) and your video came up in the random selection. I was about to move on since it wasn’t dog related, but I saw the title and thought to myself let me see what you’re talking about.
You solved my problem! The labeling in Wix is bad and I knew that the store page wasn’t what I wanted up front with everything on it. But no where in Wix does it explain how to fix it. You did in this video!
Giving this a thumbs up isn’t enough. I wish there was a way to make your video found by am sure many others who are trying to figure out this same problem.

You’re so welcome. Just as a note, they have changed it so you can’t hide the main store page, so just use that as your shop all page.

This is the most informative video on Wix that I've found, and in an Aussie voice. Wix should hire you to make instructional videos for them, just explaining all the doublespeak they use. The different words for the same thing really was killing me via confusion, but your video has extended my lifespan. Can I assume that when WIX calls a page STORE and another page SHOP, it's the same thing?? Keep up the awesome work Nicole!!!

Great, thanks. I was thinking along your lines before I found your video so it makes sense. I've started my first shop in Wix and went down the ADI path which whilst saving time is restricted and completely different to the editor so I'm hoping that the shop will work!

I decided to give it a break, since I'd been trying to find my way around the Wix way of doing things for about a month, and wasn't getting anywhere fast so I took a well deserved break.
