What I really need is a way to have repeater and item pages that are stacked inside each other. So: Genre page repeater leads to specific genre page, which has all series filtered to that genre. Then click which series and it'll take you to a series page that are all filtered for that genre. Then click the books in that series to go to the books in that genre and series. And possibly also have an option to search by author.
I haven't been able to figure out how to have a dynamic item page inside a dynamic item page (with all the items filtered from that first page as you click through).
Wow! I think I will have to keep returning to this one and absorb as much as possible. Q. how can I make my input data (search box) navigate to a new page where it will display all searches by location.
It should be mentioned, I guess, that this code is valid only for unfiltered repeaters, right? What if I will like to filter an already filtered repeater? What will I need to add to make this work?
Great teacher! I'm not a developer and this was my first go at any kid of development and could get this working! Now interested in getting into development. Thank you
Can I get the filtering to work if it's a form that the user can pick from tag inputs or a checklist? I imagine a step-by-step build-a-kit kind of shop page using repeaters.
GREAT video. Thank you! I'm struggling with trying to add a drop down element to filter my repeater items based on a numeric value in the collection. Trying to allow the visitor to select a range (i.e. 1-50, 51-100, etc) and evaluate the numeric field value in the db and return only those that have a number within the range. Cannot find this solution anywhere so hoping you or someone here can point me in the right direction. Thank you so much!!!
This video was perfect! So easy to follow and you explained everything very accurately and in an easy-to-understand manner. Thanks so much. You just improved my site's capability by a lot. God bless your brother :)
The .value part of lines 12, 13, and 29 give a error in January 2023. The error is Property 'value' does not exist on type 'Section'. I can't find a solution to this issue. Any help is appreciated.
Are you sure that your input box is an actual 'input text' element? On Wix click the + sign, then click 'input', then make sure you select 'text input'. That should be used for your searchbar
Very Helpful tutorial 😉
this was my first time EVER with code and it worked out perfectly. thank you SO much
Amazingly helpful. Thank you so much !
I've been trying to implement this for weeks and you helped me achieve it so simply. Thank you so much!!!!

Really clear overview :) Can the same approach be applied for searching a Wix Pro Gallery instead of a repeater? Many thanks.
Great video. Thanks! All is working as required except the filter which is set in the dataset. How can I write the filter into the code? Thanks!

Is Velo a prerequisite for this to work?
The code throws an error:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 429 (Too Many Requests)

It's only working in Preview for me. Not published
