@@arthurvasey Well yeah, Cushing too in some fashion. Didn't include him as I was only referring to the first televised incarnation who was initially portrayed by Hartnell in the Doctor Who BBC TV series.
"Success, Paramount success. It is impossible to distinguish from the original" - The Doctor Who production team on the various occasions they've recast the 1st Doctor.
Why the hell they didn’t just stick William hartnell in the machine is beyond me.They use him at the infiltrate and kill bit at the end and if they’d of just used him in the other scenes it would of been “impossible to distinguish”.
To save time probably. They cut straight from a scene in the TARDIS to this one. So to have Hartnell in both they would've had to stop recording and move him. But this way they can use Warwick to give Hartnell a chance to get in position for the close-up shot at the end (which looks like it was filmed in a different set).
lol poor vicki ditched by the doctor, had to hitch a lift with the daleks. Fortunately they were derpy daleks so they probably thought she was another robot replica
I was only joking. If you like the Chase better than the first 2 dalek stories then that's fine. I also like the Chase but not as much as the first 2 dalek stories. It's a guilty pleasure for me.
Why not just use Hartnell for the whole of this scene rather than just the end? I understand using a double for when they're both on screen at once but here it was completely unnecessary
You know I never understood why they would have Hartnell's double mime the speaking part. Why not just have him do it himself? But now understanding all the problems he had remembering his lines, it makes sense to have him just sit off camera and read the lines, while his poor double tried to mime them.
I have only started watching McCoy and am going on to Delta and The Bannerman (the song "Here To The Future", from it is amazing kinda like a Pink Floyd song I can't remember), if all his episodes are as good as Paradise Towers, he's going to be my favourite doctor! Also, I love your name XD
Liam Cahill they’re all great to be honest, the only one I can’t get into is Delta and the Bannermen, I just find the story so weird. Apart from that I love all McCoys era! Even Time and the Rani which I give a 7/10. Also thanks XD. Everyone seems to love my channel name XD. It only states the truth about the new series ;P.
DWLivestreamsAndReviews AlsoTheNewSeriesIsShit Oh... OH! HAHAHAAHAAAA great burn there mate! Also I've noticed that Bill's Stunt double is having to mime out Bill's dialogue and it doesn't match up at all...
I think it was a darned shame that in Blake's Seven that Blake never had an android copy of him produced on the orders of arch-enemy Servalan it would have been good in billions of ways to have had an android Blake in Blake's Seven.
I love the comic relief Dalek "erm-ing", so funny XD
Also, the Dalek voice at 0:39 is AMAZING. Old Daleks were the best.
The four faces of the First Doctor:-
William Hartnell
Edmund Warwick (Robot Duplicate)
Richard Hurndall
David Bradley
Five - Peter Cushing in two films!

The Outcast XD
Love how that one Dalek stutters lmao
Dalek Director: Come on! Remember the line or I'll exterminate you if you ruin the scene!
"Err, do not mock your mas-ters, err the Da-leks, or you will be err, ex-ter-minat-ed!" 😂😂😂
It is impossible to distinguish from the original as long as you are legally blind...
This is pure comedy cold. I genuinely believe they got a duplicate unlike Hartnell on purpose just as another joke. I love it.
That actor was actually his stunt double and also his double for shots not of the face when hartnell was away
Dalek: let us make a duplicate of the Doctor that looks nothing like the Doctor
Another Dalek: wise plan wise plan
0:14 this is one derp dalek ever hear XD

He was on holiday
0:14 that dalek has a very bad cold
And love how the robot chamber door starts opening prematurely at 0:30; gotta love low-budget one-take wonders!
0:13-0:19 very interesting, never heard a Dalek stutter before. Must be nerves lol
It's so weird seeing the Daleks being figured out in real time. These days you'd never encounter a Dalek that ums and ahs.
The stuttering Dalek is probably on work experience
'It is impossible to distinguish it from the original and someone get that mud Jenny Linden shoved in my eyestick off please'
lol poor vicki ditched by the doctor, had to hitch a lift with the daleks. Fortunately they were derpy daleks so they probably thought she was another robot replica
Unpopular opinion: I prefer the Chase to The Daleks and The Dalek Invasion of Earth.
English Giraffe so do I. The chase is better written in my opinion. But power and master plan out rule them all.
BLASPHEMY!!!!
MrBlobby786 lol XD.
Well sorry it’s called an opinion my chap :P.

Yes
And William Hartnell u se.... 1:03 wait who the hell is this guy
Uhhh um in earth time uhh four minutes 😂
This story wasthe 1st time the Dr was replicated in the DrWho history
Why not just use Hartnell for the whole of this scene rather than just the end? I understand using a double for when they're both on screen at once but here it was completely unnecessary
Why did they get a double to play the robot doctor? Just get Hartnell to do it.
The title of the next episode is a precursor to Doctor Who 2011 onwards.

Erm ten minutes erm okay eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Could you upload more clips from Paradise Towers?
Paradise Towers is severely underrated!
Liam Cahill agreed it truly is. My favourite season 24 story and in my top 5 McCoys. The cleaners are brilliant!

It was the first Doctor Who episode I saw

I love this episode of classic Dr who and the daleks having a robot clone of the first doctor does really do anything in this doctor who story
Literally could have used any other guy and it would looked better
Lord Strax still better than David Bradley though..
YOU SPEAK THE TRUTH
He was Hartnell's stunt double, and he does sort of look the part
DWLivestreamsAndReviews AlsoTheNewSeriesIsShit
Oh... OH! HAHAHAAHAAAA great burn there mate!

Lord Strax lol thanks.
That's the droid doctor ?
Says next episode the death of Doctor Who. The doctors name.....
Or just maybe a sly dig at the possible end of the entire programme...?
The robot Dr is superb.

Terry nation already recycled enough I think
Actuall there was a clone!
@tomdumb6937 but he did good. Two clones to be precise. So travis did kill 'blake'
Worse than this ..
The doctors plan to pose as the robot and go back with the daleks to skaro to save his friends.. lol.
Cutti guy sti gr
