This is an ingenious pattern. I love it. So cute. I’m not too sure how it would look on this old body of mine but I’m so tempted to try. Besides, I love your darling self and your awesome videos are super entertaining not to mention very educational. I sewed all my clothes back in the day and think I should start doing so again!

I love changing disguises with ease, so will have to try this pattern in the future.

I am size 12 bust and waist but a size 14 hips. What size would you recommend I get?

Use both, just connect a line from the waist of the 12 to the hip of the 14 on all pieces. Or sew a 14 and take in the waist once you sew it up. and try it on :)

would it be hard to adjust the neckline of the dress? I love the rest of the pattern, but don't think the crew neck would suit me...

I don't think so, the easiest would be to sew it up without the neck facing, try it on and mark where you want it cut, then you can apply the same technique that I used to finish the neckline. Make sure you remember to include seam allowance in your adjustment so that its not lower than you desire.

yes, usually though you can neatly tear away without anything left in the stitch unless its a zigzag.

Would you consider this easy for beginners?

Because you are working with jersey its slightly more challenging for a beginner, it may be good if you have sewn something simpler in jersey like a t-shirt before tackling this project, so I would say it depends on your confidence.
