Could you have turned the dress out from the pocket or from the hem where it would be less noticeable...or is the arm hole strategic for the actual flip out?
This is sooo cool. I was going to purchase one of your patterns. I was just wondering if they are usable for the busty girls. I dont see any darts (because of the reversability). Do I have to add those to make it fit a larger bust?
And most machines now have an over lacquer stitch with a foot, but if not, yes, the zigzag will work great, I get a little afraid to work with stretch nets have to change the needle and the machine setting, but my question is if you wouldn’t mind telling me what you said you’re over locker at that would be great!?
Hi :) You could potentially put a zip down the side seam but I think you'd have to make a non-reversible version. You can get reversible zips but I've personally never used one
You would just need to use a similar pattern for woven fabrics. You’ll likely have a hard time making something as fitted. It would likely be easier to do a wrap
You had me until minute 16. I am severely lacking in spacial reasoning. 😂 So one is flipped inside out? And sandwiched? It’s not making sense to me at all and I’ve watched that part a few times.
Hi 😊 Sorry! I've still not made it live yet, i was waiting to publish this video with the pattern but didn't realise you could watch the video through the playlist ❤
@@KatieSews the playlist? On youtube? Btw im in love with the dresses you make!! And i will deff be trying soon. Im just trying to get the pattern down or printed or something.😭 Also i have another question. With the measurments you used here would it like fit all body types becuse you're using stretchy fabric?
@@rayanbalfour7791 sorry I meant I didn't realise you could watch the video through the playlist! Only half awake 😂 The pattern will have 8 different sizes, it should be available super soon, I'm just waiting for one last printing size to be sent to me and it'll be live 😊
Honestly it's best not to think about it too much 😂 It's all down to the order of how they're sewn together and how they're folded back to the right side
The fire pokemon fabric is literally the cutest.
Thank you. Great tutorial. Would also save space in the closet as well.
Eeeeeeeek! I'm so happy this is up and the pattern is available on the shop! Thank you for putting all the effort in to do this!
I use the burrito method for a reverse dress and hem the bottom with a rolled hem very thin fabric for the bottom ❤ I never tried this method
Yay!!!! I love this! Hope you continue to do more videos this was so great!
"oh no, you spilt sauce on your dress"
"No problem! I'll be back"

Hi this is amazing! Will I be able to add sleeves on this? how would I go about it?
Amazing work and beautiful Print.
Please post video of dress with sleeves Soon.

Can you add sleeves to this pattern the same way you would with the reversible tie dress?
This is so cool! So I can just use a zig zag stitch for all of this? Bc I don’t have an over locker
Yes! I've made a few with just zig zag stitch when I didn't have my overlocker with me 😊

Is the ladder stitch through all 4 layers?
I wonder if there's some way to add a closure to the pockets, like a zipper or a button? 🤔
What if you have a reversible fabric already?
I’m thinking of using bed sheet material for this so I need to put a zipper in, how can I do this? Thank you

👌👌👌
Where is the fabric from?
where did you buy your fabric from and how did you custom make it?
I had it custom printed at fashion formula :)
Can you show us how to sew it with 💯% cotton fabric, instead of stretch fabric? Please 🙏

may I ask where you got the fabric from? I love that!
I had it custom printed 😊
@@KatieSews where do you get your custom prints ??
What kind of fabric is it?
If I am just using a zig zag stitch, should the elastic go right on top of it? and does it matter what side I put it on?
Yes right over the top of it, it doesn't matter which side, as long as you aim to put it on the same side for both of your pieces 😊

Not making sense to me either
Hi hi the pattern isnt coming up at all for me its saying the shop is empty..can you help?

Why didn’t you go through the pocket to turn the dress? I would think that would be easier to hide.
You could absolutely do it like that, but the pockets have 4 layers of fabric, which would be trickier to close up than the two layers of the arm hole
I was wondering this too . That makes sense though
My brain is not braining. How do you sew all four layers together and then only two layers are sewn together and the dress works as a dress?
Honestly it's best not to think about it too much 😂 It's all down to the order of how they're sewn together and how they're folded back to the right side
