This is such a great tutorial. Very clear instructions, camera angle is perfect, and the stitches are super clear. Subscribed. I am about to try this with Bernat Velvet plus, which may be difficult. Will try this swatch and see how it looks and how easy it is to work with

Hi, thank you very much for this stitch is wonderful. I would like to make me a sweater on the round I want to use this wavy stitch on the round. Can you help me with it?
Make multiples of 14 chains until you get your desired blanket width. Then plus 2. It really depends on how long you would like your blanket! And depends on the yarn used.
If i do a new color every row whats the best way to weave in all the ends? And when i chop it off the ball at the end of the row the way you have it joining i dont know how to secure that piece of yarn thats not working anymore
My suggestion is to make the sample as she does here. After you've done 3 or 4 rows, measure it's length, and use that to determine the number of chains needed. So, if you want a 5 foot wide afghan, you need 62 stitches. 😊
This stitch can be worked in the round by connecting the stitches ends of the chain at the beginning. Make the chain circle as big as you need! You might look up “wave stitch sweater crochet pattern” for more specifics!
It's a great stitch for a hat! I’m not sure about the stitch count though. It really depends on the yarn and how tight you crochet! I would crochet a panel and test on your own head or do a gauge swatch to figure it out.

Do you have a suggestion for a good border for this one since it is not straight?
Some other lady on yt suggested doing half double stitches and somehow it works
@@esterr105 can we have a link or title of the tutorial pls ...
if you're just looking to make the edge straight, two additional rows of single crochet at the end made it straight enough for me :-)
This looks amazing, can I ask what yarn were you using?
Lazy days by Lion brand!
That stitch is so beautiful!!! I’m hoping I can work it. Do you have written instructions? Thank you!

I count 16 stitches in each wave. 2sc 2hd 2dc 3 tr 2dc 2hd 3sc =16
Why is she saying 14 in each wave?
the repeating pattern is 14 stitches! [3sc, 2hdc, 2dc, 3tr, 2dc, 2hdc] counts as one wave :-)
Quero fazer gorro com esse modelo . Fica guantos ponto no total pra envolver a cabeça? de um adulto ! Sou brasileira.
