As a '17 Z06 Black Rose owner, I've been waiting for another purple. This is too blue, not loving it. Hoping it'll grow on me once I see it in person but so far it looks like I'll be holding onto the Z for awhile.
NIce color, sort of purple, crappy wheels (but those can be replaced). Would have preferred something more like Plum Crazy. Gotta love GM. They add two drops of red to blue and call it purple, and two more drops of yellow to the existing yellow and give it a new name, and us silly humans get all excited like we're actually seeing something new. But GM fools us every time.
@@c5grapeape While under warranty there is nothing to worry about, and it doesnt plug in etc, it just charges itself as you drive. Being AWD with massive torque and 655+ HP this thing absolutely cooks! Light to light almost nothing out there beats it! It still has the Stingray's 6.2 liter gas guzzling V8 and all the great sound that comes with it. Best of both worlds!
Most of us on the Corvette forum were hoping for a more vivid purple, not a blueish purple. It looks fine, but not what we wanted.
I think it’s a good color, just not for the corvette. This would look good on a McLaren

Yeah it works great. That thing beats a lot of other purples to death. Its simply killing it with that color combo.

Too damn dark. A C8 in Plum Crazy Purple (ish) would be the tits.
That color is ok, not for me personally. I like yours way better 👍
However, I do really like the comp yellow, I would buy the yellow one, still like yours better 😊

its a Hybrid though, not an EV. And its insanely fast with a 2.5 zero to sixty.

@@RenBartlett until it's out of warranty....that battery has a lifespan and it'll cost $$$ to replace it...likely WELL before the 6.2 V8 gives out
@@satishtummala5084 8 year 100k mile warranty on the battery etc. I will have sold mine long before then....
