UPDATE: 2M responded after posting this video and they were kind enough to give me a small refund to replace the VBand Clamp even though clamps are not part of the lifetime warranty. Service was great, I got the exhaust a week after my order and the fitment, quality and sound has exceeded my expectations. Thank you 2M , this exhaust is a work of art.
Im like you man, I can't understand why C8 exhausts are so expensive! Some of them are 5 to 6 thousand dollars! WTF! You are right, its just the corvette tax.
I installed an eventuri intake and a solar performance ported throttle body and the solar performance controller. It turned the C8 into a different animal. It is unreal the difference in throttle response. That is a mod that works!
Nice! I'm thinking of installing the Solar throttle body but the Eventuri is out of my budget right now but it looks and performs great. I bought a blue attack filter anf that's good enough for me for now.
17:15 wow that's a great idea
Dude congrats man, sounds unreal! 🤙
Coming from a Camaro 2SS owner😁👍
Great installation and product review video. One of the best I have watched. thank you so much.
Really quality looking exhaust at an unbelievable very low low price! I was excited about looking into buying one UNTIL you mentioned their customer service sucks. Which means if I have a problem I would be SOL. Customer service and responsiveness is more important than price.
Check out their reviews....its either 5 star or 1 but they were good with me, after the video they responded and gave me a small refund to cover cost of new clamp. They provide lifetime warranty and it's. Quality piece at an affordable price which is hard to find.
Awesome
Great video. We needed a good 2M video of just the exhaust. I asked 2M for some sound clips and never got an answer. Some fly bys would be great. What wing do you have on your Vette? It looks like the older C7 Z06 wing,
Wing is from Competition Carbon.
Great video. Best I’ve seen. Can you provide the link to the clamp you used? I might get a couple delivered just to have for install. Also, did you drive yet? Looks really close to the bottom deflector I’m wondering if there is going to be an issue with heat and potential damage. Would love a reply, hard to see from the video but great job regardless. I have the MBRP on order but I’m tired of waiting for it to become available. Might cancel and go with this one
The clamp make is Evil Energy which is I found on Amazon, it's a bit more heavy duty. No heat issues, the deflector feels warm to touch but not hot, I have no concerns of heat damage to the bumper. This exhaust sounds amazing and for price cant be beat. Thank you for watching. Will make more videos on this exhaust
@@SerhansGarageone last question. Literally just got done installing mine. Love it, did you have any squeaking from the flex pipes when it got hot? Hoping it quits after a few heat cycles but I do love the exhaust, it sounds great. I had better luck with the V clamps, 0 complaints other than the squeaking and creaking. Might just be the newness
Great video! Have you noticed any issues with heat, so far? I am leery of it having no heat shields.
I haven't driven it yet but I will be taking it out of storage in couple days and I will post more videos soon
I like that , you did an awesome job and great video. Did you have any drone? Let me know i hate drone, i would love to do mine !
Thanks. I haven't driven it yet so I cant speak for any drone - the car has been in storage in my garage over the winter but I will be taking her out of storage in about a week
@@SerhansGarage Thanks for the info. Can't wait to see a video when you get it out! That exhaust looks really good!
Saw and considered 2M Fabrication for my C8. Then noticed a vendor on eBay selling an EXACT copy of this for $950 with 4 different tip options and free shipping. Some tips had the carbon fiber overlays. Only reason I didn't buy was because I would have to buy my own AFM/NPP simulators elsewhere, and the cost about $100/2 or $200/4. Had the same stainless steel T304 build and looks like the same welds. Had the same resonators built in. eBay charges taxes nationwide now 😞, so the all up costs came out to be about the same as 2M, but had better exhaust tip options. I ultimately chose another brand, MBRP because they take the exhaust downpipes and connect to the top side of the X pipe, and that give super wide clearance compared to the 2M with runs finger width close to the frame cross member and that lower under tray panel. Some people had vibration issues when they accidentally overlooked that tight closeness and their installation touched these pieces. I didn't want any chance of that. Obviously, with close attention you can avoid this. This is a tempting option for sure. The reported lack of customer care also caused me pause. Their website kinda offends you even in their FAQ page, where they say something kinda smarta$$ about being busy manufacturing rather than being on the phone, as I recall? Anyways, I posted on Corvette Forum some weeks ago that this has to be the manufacturer of the Paragon Touring Exhaust in my opinion. 👍🏽
I can confirm that there is no drone...even in 4 cylinder mode when driving on highway in Touring mode. Sounds amazing. Will post videos soon
The old saying is "as long as we pay the price will stay. I do agree that some are much better quality and more expensive.
Great exhaust! Are you running wheels spacers?
Im loving the exhaust and no I am not running spacers, they are aftermarket with offsets that make tires flush with fenders.
@@SerhansGarage can you please spec the offset you have
Sounds good. What spoiler is that?
Thanks. Spoiler is made by Carbon Competition
Hi. I had corsa before.Does it have a throaty sound like a motorcycle, around 2500 to 3500 rpms?
Not really, it has more of a high pitch screech at around 3000 rpm
dude that is 100% the same exhaust as Paragon. i have the paragon track exhaust and that is identical in so many ways
Yup, same as Paragon Touring exhaust as these have the resonators at the end.
@@SerhansGarage But did Paragon come first, then 2M copied their design? I, too, am hesitant about their customer service.
Whats the horsepower increase, and is CARB complient?
LMR dynod their exhaust which is identical to this exhaust and they found gains of 20 HP. In my jurisdiction there are no strict CARB requirements.
We need a review video
For sure, I will make more videos soon when she's out of storage in the next couple of days. I can't wait
Shops charging me 600 to install…. I’m debating doing it myself.. what difficult
Level would you rate it
4/10 for difficulty. It took me 8 hours total but that's with me working alone and working with the camera for footage. If I were to do it all over again I would still do it myself. It's not complicated at all and there are alot of instructional videos to follow. Save your money, do it yourself and put that money towards other mods!
you got it. hardest part is holding the bumper yourself.
@Howdy762 is true, and the foam chair I used worked perfectly for resting the bumper. Hardest part of install for me was loosening the nuts on the bottom , next time I would get a 2 foot extension and loosen them from the rear instead of from underneath the car.
Did you get any check engine lights? BYW great video😎🙌🏻
No check engine light. No heat issues and no drone
Tick tick tickty tik
Can't get a simple question from them, I"ll pass... could have better customer service... AWE it is!!!
What was your question?
You need to invest in power tools😂
I have lots of air tools and electric impacts guns but sometimes I just prefer hand tools for noise and delicate work but you can never have enough power tools.
Absolutely worst customer service. Made a change to my order by adding more. They kept an extra 20% for making the change. This company will not last long.
