- This song by the British band "Sniff 'n' the Tears" was on their debut album, "Fickle Heart".. The band is considered a one-hit wonder as "Driver's Seat" was their only hit.. This song only got to number 42 in the UK singles chart in 1979, which is such a shame as i think it's a really great song.. While i am here i would like to take this opportunity in wishing all my friends and subscribers a Merry Christmas, and let's hope the coming New Year will be a much happier and safer one for us all.. Great video, I've loved this song since it was released. It always mystifies me that alot of people don't know this song, even people my age. It's been on my list of favorites for decades.
