My favourite channel. No pretence picked up here. Youre actually doing it off your own back. No "Help" and you have to respect that. What a journey, Its been a privilege to watch. Thanks Nahoa x
Your lens on Madagascar was the most Epic. The respect, kindness, empathy generosity and positivity you share, keeps us tuning in. Whichever loop (s) you choose to take, we can't wait to experience all the great family adventures to come.
You all are the absolute best channel cause you live your real life. You don’t have a crew and nanny’s or babysitters bailing you out. You are real cruisers and we can’t wait to see what your fiture holds . Make sure you film it. Love you
My Dad went around the world twice.... (circumnavigated ) 2 ships shot out from under him in WW2..... You beautiful humans are the best real sailors on RUclips. My wife April and me never miss an episode Thank you for doing it right. You're like real family members, we love the four of you (hoping for 5 soon *wink)why not! Love is Love is Love is Love is Sailing Nahoa. Looking forward to your further adventures. ❤UGuys As Always- DnA
I don't know if it is something you've ever considered but cruising the great lakes for a summer season would be super cool with OG nahoa. As long as air draft is under 113 feet, I think. It isn't "Exotic" but would make for awesome content and lots of fun with your kids. St. Lawrence seaway, fresh water, festivals, museums, temperate weather.
I Love all of the adventures you have had ever since she said "Cilivation See ya" and what i would give to be able to do the same thing. I do watch other sailing familys and your 2 kids will be able to start helping when they get older, so it will only get easyer. I will continue to watch yall where ever yall go and look foward to your next adventures. Sincerely, Joel "plinko"
So incredibly happy for you guys. What an accomplishment. God bless. Looking very forward to seeing what’s next. Is it going to be 2 yes before you start round trip number 2? I have watched you grow and do this awesome life for far too long. I’m 7yrs older since the very first time I found you guys and I am still sitting here. Land-locked. I am blessed with a great family and now IS the time to do this. Thanks for inspiring me and so many more of us out here.
You two were the "1st." at a lot of things ... you could make a nice compilation of your tenacity and determination. MUCH LOVE FROM GUAM !!!👍💪❤🏝 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Allow me to join the long line of people, who want to congratulate you, first of all for your successfully completed circumnavigation, then the Award and, finally, your new boat. In regard to the latter, I am particularly happy for you that you seem to have the means to design and build the NAHOA 55 and that you obviously have the experience and good judgement to adopt design elements from Morelli & Marvin designs such as Gunboat and HH Catamarans. Looking at the plans for the NAHOA 55, there can be no doubt that she will be THE ultimate family cruiser, but also fast, easy to handle and safe.
Y'all ROCK!.... Ashley: such an example for all Moms around the world(including post baby fitness/recovery[even the French women cold learn!]) NWest Passage on the 55 => exciting!!!! Love & Respect!
The best is @sailing yacht Florence, they show how to do it with bare minimum.. then this channel.. no excessive drama just pure sailing and what comes with it..
You genuinely seem like very nice and real people. I love your channel and all your adventures from exploring or just managing the kids and doing your daily routines. Thanks so much for sharing all of this, it’s been great!
Really appreciate your input into my future plans, even of I do not end up doing it at the same scope. I am happy to have been able to watch most of your adventures and look forward to your future.
So true about the food. To eat out may be cheaper but all round it levels out, but sometimes it is more expensive, if you speak the language and dive deep into the culture you can live very cheaply especially if you have something to trade.
Congratulations on your circumnavigation guys!! Thanks for taking us along on your epic adventures. You were one of those who inspired us to embark on this incredible lifestyle. We’re excited to see where you go next!
Congratulations on completing your FIRST global circumnavigation! Despite the challenges, one of the hallmarks of your channel, has been your united and unwavering persistence and deep passion to reach this milestone. As the Summit Syndrome fades, may you recognize that this journey has empowered you both to pursue even more unique goals and innovative adventures. Enjoy some well deserved downtime with your little ones. We are looking forward to see your future adventures! Hats off to the completion of your remarkable journey!!! ⛵💯
As U touched on @ the end, I'm excited 2 see all the beautiful blue water places through the eyes of your kids! They'll B so fascinated by it all. Safe travels ❤
I'd really like to see your "reunions" of folks that met you and the kids. How they see you now and what they also have accomplished too. i.e., Thailand and your dry dock refit episodes...?
Life is a series of goals and modification of goals. Higher latitudes sounds exciting NW Passage, Antarctica. We are not sailors but travel the western US with a travel trailer with a home base in Central Oregon. Your children are so lucky. My parents had a power boat in my pre teens years. I have great memories 65 years later. Life is good and we always have to make compromises.
When I travelled around the world backpacking it changed my life for ever. But also for the better. Same with you guys I guess. Congratulations to you and your kids. Well done. Regards from Poland
@MarketingStrategies28 not now. Because my dog is still alive. But in a few years time, yes. I have the boat already and I've been living on board for the last three years in the med. But I am not planning a circumnavigation. I just want to sail to the south Pacific
If you repeat going to a location more than once or if you think we get tired of watching you drain the oil or fix a problem more than once, we don’t!!! We are traveling with you. We want to do what you do. I pretty much list my vision which brought my life to an almost halt. So, I’m traveling with you. If I had my vision I’d be crossing your your path somewhere out there. Thanks!!
Thanks for the great adventures, stories and insights along the way. Look forward to seeing what adventures are to come with your family and with the Nohoa 55.
Have thoroughly enjoyed watching your adventure! What an accomplishment, not only to sail around the world, but with two little munchkins along the way. Thanks for bringing us along.
Loved the face @24:56, don't care for the balut?🤣 Been there, done that! Some alcohol might have been involved as well.... Sea stories... Fair winds...
I ❤ traveling with you and Family, places I probably will never see in my life time. And Beautiful places that is. Don't need a fishing license at all. All the fish you can eat for free. But you do have your cost like you said about mantinence of the boat and other things that need attention. Great 👍 show to watch with family. Thank you for taking all of us on your journey. Till next time. 😊😊😊
I really enjoyed the video. I've tried to think of another word for circumnavigator; how bout "encirclers". Congratulations on your circumnavigation and also your cruisers award remote adventure of the year. Looking forward to more adventures.
the life that you guys have chosen offers an amazing level of growth. I love how you look at your journey and that you share the joys and challenges with us. We are one!
Globetrotters? FYI, I really loved seeing your adventures in Vanuatu, and the scenes from the Philippines. I spent about 4 months in P.I. nearly 5 decades ago. Love them, loved the beaches there, loved the friendly people there immensely. loved the food, but I'll pass on the baloots. Next pass thru Asia, stop in at Penang, Malasia. Pretty cool place on the Indian ocean.
How about your a ‘circlerr’ or a ‘rounder’ ? Also going around the other way is right way and not upwind, since the prevailing winds at higher/lower attitudes are west to east..💨⛵️
Just found you last month and now Im losing you, sob😢!! I know the subject is sailing but I would love to know a little bit of your backgrounds pre-sailing. Can't wait for your next chapter, seeing how the kids have grown, best of luck!
what about you both and the two kiddos switch the a White Water aka blue water monohull for a summit syndrome solution? Just a thought. You can also find a high latitude mono capable of the northern west passage for half the cost of the cat your thinking of. All the Very Best! Jim Rodgers
Congratulations on living life, something alot of people never achieve. If it were me, the next couple years, I'd be sailing warm, blue, calm waters and soaking up those toddler years. You won't have babies on your next trip around the sun. Youll have little crew members.
After having watched this episode, I wanted to ask Ashley - "If you could go back in time and speak to yourself... the Ashley in the promo who says, 'Civilization - see ya!!' What do you wish you could say or want to say to her?"
Naturonaut = Astronaut but on land. I was asking myself the same question last week. So I created this word for myself. (Been loving a similar life on land for the last 20 years. But now would love to do it via sea). Also we have crossed paths, you filmed one my houses in Indonesia two years ago. Anyway. That's my word😊
Congratulations! Few questions: Worst unusual food you ate along the journey? Worst injury or illness? Most fascinating thing you saw? Like, can't believe this exists kinda thing. Country with the least welcoming people? Country with the most welcoming people? Scariest thing that happened? Normal food you missed the most? What is your favorite souvenir you've collected on the journey? Lastly, since the kids weren't with you the whole time, have you thought about navigating back around to where they started so they've officially circumnavigated too? That'd be a heckuva flex to have circumnavigated before even hitting puberty. lol
Ashley, have you tried growing microgreens?! I’ve started a little microgreen garden two weeks ago I hope to bring them aboard with me soon! They provide all the vitamins and minerals as the fruiting body would! (I know y’all have your ag1 but this could be something fun to do with the kids too!)
Whoa... Nahoa 55... Northwest Passage! For those who don't know about the NW Passage, search with your browser, and look for the map. Maybe look at a brief history. Nahoa 55, from which direction are you going to make the passage? Are you going to see the Med while the design of the new boat is finished and building begins?:¬) Webhead USA
When you come to Hervey Bay anchor off the beach no need to go in in marina unless of course that’s suits you the marina has a travel lift if you need it could be expensive don’t know???
Hey Guys, will you be sailing back to Victoria in the new boat? My guess is people there might have thought it was a goofy idea when you left and now 8 years later, you're back with two kids and a new boat! Cheers from Nanaimo.
New subscriber and absolutely love this channel I'm going through harship and watching your channel brings me some peace 😢❤ God bless you and your beautiful kids
My favourite channel. No pretence picked up here. Youre actually doing it off your own back. No "Help" and you have to respect that. What a journey, Its been a privilege to watch. Thanks Nahoa x

I remember in PNG when you asked the GUIDE to the CAVE of Human Bones "When was the last time he was there"? ... His answer was FUNNY !😱😂
Wow! So privileged to be involved with you guys! Can't wait till we cut metal on the Nahoa 55.

Those two babies are so adorable. I have wondered if you regret not going to the Mediterranean and instead cutting across to Brazil.
Glückwunsch zur Weltumsegelung 🎉
Look forward to see your cold waters adventures.
Those guys you shouted at got the fright of their lives. Love sailing with you around the world. Best Wishes
