Stay Wild, Stay Free,
Ben. Ashley. Willa. Bodhi.
I´m new to this channel. As a father of three and a former Navy E-4, who had his share of storms, my first thought was:
"Are they insane? How irresponsible is he to take their toddlers on the ocean and risk their lives!" , but then I reminded myself:
" Shut up, it is none of your business and be glad that this man and his family have the freedom to do that. There is enough red-tape already in the world and that man and his wife are the only authorities for their kids, period. That is at least the way I see it.
God bless and all the best , from Germany, Tobias
What an incredible island! Thank you guys for taking us along! ❤
Your right you could have been walking through Exmore/ Dartmore and climbing a Tor, amazing scenery, I am looking forward to the next leg of your journey, safe travels from your old neighbour Devon 😜 🥰
It's so NICE to see you guys and that you all made it on the first leg of the journey safe and sound. I was starting to get a bit worried about you and the kids. You arrived at a nice location to take a few days off of the ocean and rest up awhile and enjoy being on land again. Hope to see you again next week. Be safe, and YES child trafficing is now a bigger business in the states than the drug cartel, it doesn't surprise me you were asked about the kids. Keep your eyes on them.
I'm glad you made it safe and sound into St. Helena. It looks beautiful. It reminded me of the island of Terceira in the Azores/Portugal. Maybe you could visit there someday.
With regards to immigration, child trafficking out of South Africa is a huge issue.
I plan on sailing there some day when I do my lap around the globe.
Great video guys. How lucky can you get to visit such beautiful and far-away places!
In 1973, on a 150' square rigger, we were in Tahiti.
Drove up to the top of Tahiti Iti or Tahiti Nui and found dairy farms like Wisconsin !
OK, I'm in Love with St. Helena.
You all are terrific. This old guy has vicariously sailed with you most of the way - from the Caribbean.
Island of St. Helena Where Napoleon was only 51 when he died there
Love the story, pictures and ongoing adventures!
Bizarre seems a wrong choice of word? St. Helena is incredible and so special.
Disagree, from my time studying remote geography on earth, St. Helena seems almost otherworldly in its remoteness. Arriving by personal S/V seems totally bizarre and awesome!
And of course, incredible and special. 😊
There's nothing inherently negative about the word "bizarre." It's perfectly fitting:
"bi·zarre:
very strange or unusual, especially so as to cause interest or amusement."
Pretty cool Thanks for letting me tag along loved the show glad to see you're all safe
St helena is a magical place been there twice passing thru
Saint Helena is amazing Thank you so much for bringing us along with you.
Cool. Never heard of that island…
Love you guys and the kids as always. Best from Auckland. Anthony
Good to see you all safe and secure
This looks like it was such fun! I hope your next video(s) show more of this awesome island.
Wow!thanks so much for the content....love watching u guys! Keep on keeping on.🌄
Funny enough I was listening to St Helena radio one day. And they mentioned that you were anchored. Lol. I live in Montenegro and originally from South Africa.
I don't know that I ever heard of this island. Never too old to learn new stuff
There used to be a British mint that made commemorative coins, don't know if they still do. We were there in 1985,no mooring balls then.
You are just so wonderful and such an inspiration. So thankful for your sharing. Such an inspiration, I wish you all the good and joy.
Thanks for another spectacular video!❤
Nahoa: “can we do 10AM instead of 9AM, please?”
Port Control: “let me consult my very busy schedule in this massively busy port… ah, yes, it appears that we are free all day.”
😂😂😂
Thanks Keep safe always
I've been wondering about your family. Awesome adventure!
Ohhhh your new boat looks sooo good.
Love how you have your kids in helmets and Life jackets
So glad 4 U 2 have a bit of respite! St. Helena is beautiful. Safe travels ❤️
Was temporary duty on the sister island ascension island for the US Air Force. We were there to install communication antennas for NASA. Love the locals that work on ascension island that are from st helena.
Congrats On-The-Go passage well done, great to feel and see land again I bet. You both look tired. Cheers
That looks so cool, nice place to hide out🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🇦🇺
We Love ❤️ you guy's with your fantastic voyages, 2 very lucky store aways and a Beautiful Family.
❤❤❤
What a fabulous place. Thanks ya'll for sharing your journey with us. Their own currency? Reminds me of a place in NY (Ithaca) that too had their own currency. They called it Ithaca Money but I think changed it to Ithaca hour's. I don't guess it's a thing anymore but when it was people would earn this Ithaca money by volunteering in the community rather it be repainting a building that was in need or cleaning the streets or whatever.. The Ithaca money was bankable and accepted in their local shops/stores for whatever and groceries.. I have always thought that it was a cool concept to get people in the community involved while earning Ithaca money. The more hour's you put in the more Ithaca money earned. Stay safe and stay blessed y'all. :0)
What a great place, lots of surprising sites.
Always Like your content and Love you folks.
I hope you were able to visit where Emporer Napolean spent his last days. Would love to see a video of that.
And I still haven't sailed a big cat that new boat with the forward cockpit is very interesting
W O W . . . What a place THAT was…!! 😱🫣🤔
Fantastic! Great accomplishment and video. Thankyou 👍💯
Im your subscriber from the Philippines. Always watching your videos even if you uploaded once in a while (which i understand because of the nature or your circumnavigation). I love watching you guys, the natural laugh of Ash and you Ben. Willa and Bodie are enjoying their early age in sea/ocean exploring diff. parts of the world.❤

Did not know such an island exists. Thanks for showing us!
Very cool place.
There's a part of me who would love to live in a place like this,
and then another part of me who understands I can't be away from family.

Dang, Ben, Six Days and Seven Nights is your favorite movie? I bet you were pissed when it didn't get nominated for an Oscar. LOL Great video guys. I love your channel so much :)
There's a problem if they can't tell by looking at Willa and Bohdi that they're yours. I guess it doesn't hurt to be safe by asking. Thanks for sharing.
Love your work and appreciate your effort, yes living vicariously but not viable for my kids to support your being as much as i would like to. DO LOVE AND APPRECIATE YOUR WORK> THANKYOU.
Thanks for watching and following. We really appreciate it!

Well done finding a mooring ball at night ... question for you don’t you have deck lights to flood the area with light to see what’s around ... just wondering, keep up the great content!
They use different pounds in Scotland & N Ireland !!!!

I have been waiting for a video from you guy’s. It’s beautiful scenery. Can’t wait to see what is in store for next week. Be safe my friends.❤️
Are you guys sailing in real time. This is hurricane season. I live in the Caribbean and most hurricanes come in from Africa? I hope you have crossed and are safely tucked in somewhere🙏🏼🏝⛵️
In Australia we call that type of gate a c.o.d. (Carry of drag gate) 😂
How awesome ❤🙌🏼
Just happy you found a safe place to hole up a while.
Inspiring! Hope you can make it to Tristan Da Cunha. My dream is to make it there
Great vid!
Tell us more about your new boat
Loved this episode
Ting Tong Canucks....love it,
That is a really cool little place
Locals would tell stories of boulders in the hills breakin loose and everyone would run outside to make sure it didnt crush someones home.
They have wire nets over most of them steep slopes on the sides of town now.
Starlink will eventually close that video store
11:55....Wait A Minute...Why Are You carrying Your Children's Life Jackets? 👀
Do you take the epi pen with you at all time? Like on this hike?
cool spot!!!
Ben do ya have a thing for Defenders Mate ?
Do the kids ever have trouble walking on land after a voyage? 11:40 was that a toot ???😅
Wow
wow, Saint Helena is quite remarkable. A place i wouldn't mind living in.. On your new boat, will you be having a special line to taking down and up your balloon sail, forgot the name of it. too make it easier to deploy and retrieve?
I was eagerly awaiting the stories of Napoleon’s last days on St Helena - I loved the video / as an aside I don’t know why history gives Napoleon a pass, 3 to 6 million people died as a consequence of his ambitions.
Was going to include him in a voice over but then thought I have nothing positive to say about a guy that sent his people into many battles for what exactly?
@@SailingNahoa I respect that - I just figured in the background in the town would be full of references to him, I’m glad it wasn’t. :)
Love watching! Does anyone know the brand and style of Ashley’s sunglasses? 😎 🕶️
❤❤
Love the video thank you . I'm from Cornwall (live in QLD Australia) but when did Saint Helena become a part of Cornwall ?
Deja vu. Watched much of this before?
good stuff
Hope you have a good experience in Brazil! We would love to give you guys a nice welcome dinner, but we live so far away from the beach 😢 Anyways, hope Willa gets better till then ❤
