I´m new to this channel. As a father of three and a former Navy E-4, who had his share of storms, my first thought was: "Are they insane? How irresponsible is he to take their toddlers on the ocean and risk their lives!" , but then I reminded myself: " Shut up, it is none of your business and be glad that this man and his family have the freedom to do that. There is enough red-tape already in the world and that man and his wife are the only authorities for their kids, period. That is at least the way I see it. God bless and all the best , from Germany, Tobias
Love your channel... You are showing us out of the way places on this planet that are not tourist traps and unheard of, it is such a treat for us that are stuck on land!
Found your video ultra interesting you are a very brave family travelling the oceans, and exploring islands like St Helena . Gave me an insite in to a far distant part of the British Empire .
Your right you could have been walking through Exmore/ Dartmore and climbing a Tor, amazing scenery, I am looking forward to the next leg of your journey, safe travels from your old neighbour Devon 😜 🥰
The way you introduce the island inhabitants (07:08) with this gentle vertical travelling (added to the vhf sound) is pure cinematic storytelling ;) which am sensitive to. Nice editing !
It's so NICE to see you guys and that you all made it on the first leg of the journey safe and sound. I was starting to get a bit worried about you and the kids. You arrived at a nice location to take a few days off of the ocean and rest up awhile and enjoy being on land again. Hope to see you again next week. Be safe, and YES child trafficing is now a bigger business in the states than the drug cartel, it doesn't surprise me you were asked about the kids. Keep your eyes on them.
Ahh how I would love to just sit there and float. I don't know about being able to go through all of those rough waves and storms, but I love watching from Las Vegas!
Disagree, from my time studying remote geography on earth, St. Helena seems almost otherworldly in its remoteness. Arriving by personal S/V seems totally bizarre and awesome!
There's nothing inherently negative about the word "bizarre." It's perfectly fitting: "bi·zarre: very strange or unusual, especially so as to cause interest or amusement."
I'm glad you made it safe and sound into St. Helena. It looks beautiful. It reminded me of the island of Terceira in the Azores/Portugal. Maybe you could visit there someday.
I’m not even remotely interested in sailing, terrified of the open ocean, hopelessly seasick on even massive multi-storey ships, and yet here I am binging on your videos, and dreaming of a life on sea 🙈😂 long story short, you guys are truly inspirational!
Just discovered your channel and its so awesome! Im planning on a liveaboard lifestyle within tve year. So much research, preparation, anxiety, and worries. However, its a dream ive had for as lomg as i can remember. Seeing you guys pursuing this lifestyle with 2 small toddlers, gives me inspiration to be able to do it as well. Thank you!
Im your subscriber from the Philippines. Always watching your videos even if you uploaded once in a while (which i understand because of the nature or your circumnavigation). I love watching you guys, the natural laugh of Ash and you Ben. Willa and Bodie are enjoying their early age in sea/ocean exploring diff. parts of the world.❤
Your films (and most ARE films) are more thoughtfully and carefully assembled than a lot of what passes as UK 'tv' these days. Five stars, or one Oscar. Whatever is now suitable.... 😁
Funny enough I was listening to St Helena radio one day. And they mentioned that you were anchored. Lol. I live in Montenegro and originally from South Africa.
What a wonderful place Saint Helena! Just beautiful and people trust eachother and there is hardly any crime? Yes please! It would have been hard to leave.❤
Great content as you traverse the big wave in the middle of the ocean. I had experienced that kind of situation where a big wave was 20 feet tall above the boat. Keep safe as always!
Nahoa: “can we do 10AM instead of 9AM, please?” Port Control: “let me consult my very busy schedule in this massively busy port… ah, yes, it appears that we are free all day.” 😂😂😂
That was very very nice of you to fix the fence.
It was nice you kept those mischievous cows safe
Island of St. Helena Where Napoleon was only 51 when he died there
Saint Helena is amazing Thank you so much for bringing us along with you.
St. Helena was the island that Napoleon was put in prison and died there, his remains were sent back to France

This is probably the best episode ever. All the best to your future travels. Fair winds and following seas.
Ahh how I would love to just sit there and float. I don't know about being able to go through all of those rough waves and storms, but I love watching from Las Vegas!
From what the weather man says lol😂
You should be about knee deep in water or are about to be.

Cool. Never heard of that island…
Great video guys. How lucky can you get to visit such beautiful and far-away places!
There used to be a British mint that made commemorative coins, don't know if they still do. We were there in 1985,no mooring balls then.
Thanks for another spectacular video!❤
I never get tired of watching dolphins play in the wake, cheers
Wonderful accomplishment, congrats !!! Time to take a well deserved rest before you travel on. Cheers!!!!
Tremendous journey. It's amazing how you sail with good health during your adventure. Keep up the good work

You are just so wonderful and such an inspiration. So thankful for your sharing. Such an inspiration, I wish you all the good and joy.
Looked such a cool place.
Napoleon died there too and I think there is a museum on said fellow.
Gorgeous. Your experiences and the life you are giving your kiddos is simply priceless.
Glad to hear from you again guys ❤
Bizarre seems a wrong choice of word? St. Helena is incredible and so special.
Disagree, from my time studying remote geography on earth, St. Helena seems almost otherworldly in its remoteness. Arriving by personal S/V seems totally bizarre and awesome!
And of course, incredible and special. 😊

This looks like it was such fun! I hope your next video(s) show more of this awesome island.

Did not know such an island exists. Thanks for showing us!
Your children are so beautiful and well behaved. Cheers!
In 1973, on a 150' square rigger, we were in Tahiti.
Drove up to the top of Tahiti Iti or Tahiti Nui and found dairy farms like Wisconsin !
Glad you made it to that UK rock. What a unique place. ♥
