Those public jeepneys for Lapaz, Jaro, Molo Districts are just in a loop to the city proper and back. You will end up where you start eventually if you don't get off. Try not to get too far from the main roads and you'll be fine. Your hotel is just in an adjacent district to Megaworld a taxi ride wont cost more than a 100php. Stay safe and enjoy your stay.

Getting a haircut in the Philippines is getting more and more expensive but ofcourse it depends on the type of community you're at. In well developed areas like BGC and other business districts youll pay thousands similar in EU and the US for a haircut whereas in more local areas like the baranggays is surprisingly way more cheaper. I prefer the local barbershop where i can only pay 2 USd for a haircut (if im on a budget) as compare to a barbershop inside the malls.

You went to LaPaz to try the authentic /original batchoy. You should have asked the locals about Netong's. If you're in the mall, you can find Deco's or Ted's easily. 😚🇯🇵

It looks like you are walking in a wrong direction or way, that is not iloilo city proper or downtown iloilo, that is barangay roads in lapaz district. if on the other side you had walked from nicks batchoy , downtown iloilo would have been near
