Bro explained the entire science behind the induction cook top.
Your knowledge of the science behind induction cooktops was spot on!
We like science!
I've rented out the Titan van built for ten days in the beginning of June. My husband and I loved it very much. It was durable, functional, and simple. Especially the bed was unbelievably comfortable. Also, the heating system worked so well and we felt comfortable in snowy Rocky Mountain National Park. There was a snow in there in June 8th and it was warm in the van.
So glad to hear, hope it was a fun trip 😀. We love RMNP 🗻
Good review! And very informative telling us the good stuff. A 10-day trip. Very functional; Extremely comfortable bed. Inside temp was unbelievably warm in snowy weather. Great review. Thanks. I really like this van, and appreciate all of the great feedback.
As always, beautiful work!
Really impressive builds. Head and shoulders above any other builders. Beautiful and we'll thought out.
I have to admire your knowledge of every detail of this fantastic van! You literally know every detail, which would inspire confidence in potential customers. Brilliant Van!
Thanks!
I agree! Such a pleasure to be educated about this van's components by such a knowledgeable man. His pride in his work was obvious, too. Would definitely consider this company for a conversion!
@@elbee1290 glad to hear! Stay tuned for more videos to come.
Well done, Matt & crew!
love how he propably rolled around in the dust befor the video to increase the (off the) street credibility :D
super cool van
Man it was really cool to hear you go into depth in everything in a very understandable way. Awesome build, you can tell you take a lot of pride in your work.
Extremely nice custom build! Now you have me rethinking on what type of unit I want. Great video and it's obvious you people take true pride in your customer builds. Thank you!
Super impressive. I have been looking at camper Van's for a bit now. This one is by far the one closest to what I am looking for.
My thoughts, too.
Did u get one ? How do u like it? It doesn’t have a fridge, will it cause any inconvenience? Thanks for sharing
@@sdla690 - No. Seems like the model I want are very popular and thus rare.
There are some really great ideas here!
Very thorough! impressive design. Liked.
That was a very smooth “basically there’s no toilet on here” haha! Client must be close to some primo toilets near by!
It's probably the only conversion with less features but professionally done. Great for a weekend types (snowboard/ski/hiking/camping... but not a home home.
But love that they can customize to your needs.
Super clean!!
Definitely the best looking van I have seen
Excellent 4x4 capable, open-space floor plan. Not a cramped DIY home-made look. Exterior design is a stealth incognito look that won't attract a lot of attention when urban boon docking. Could use a pedestal mount table in front of the couch like the Airstream Interstate has that I own. And roof mount A/C option is a must for most of us. If you do not need a shower/toilet, this could be a winner. Innovative craftsmanship.
Great presentation!
Excellent! So in love!
Fancy! Great work! 💯
I love the color scheme of the van.
Very nice, very simple. Thx.
Amazing build and great video ❤
Really well done video. Impressive.
Impressive design details. :thumbsup
Really great build 👍
Excellent video, thanks!
Bloody IMPRESSIVE!
Thanks!
Very nice build. Lot of people are building these with full size kitchen base cabinets, and giant bathrooms... it seems like a complete waste of space. This is perfect.
Great van and beautiful. Small suggestion, clean your lens.
Thanks for the input, always trying to improve though we are much better at building vans then making videos!
I love this simple, efficient and elegant. I have subscribed and will want more details and info. I’d add the option for shower outdoors at the back door like Winnebego Solis.
This build does have a rear spray down shower off the driver side rear cabinet. Typical on most of our builds.
It's cool. I'm more of a fan of an internal bathroom/shower option. Sacrifices some space but worth it if you're somewhere cold.
I'd much rather a shower/toilet space too, even if it's a wet bath!.
I want one so bad holy crap, the grind continues I will have one in the next year
Keep the dream alive, you will get there!
I'm subscribing bc you know how the induction cooktop actually works which means you know your sh*t! Very nice details!
We love induction! And Science! And Vans!
I am new at Mercedes-Benz of Daytona Beach. Thank you for making this video to help new people out!
GAIL :)
Absolutely, glad you liked it! 👍
Like it. We will be in the market soon.
Very clean. A bit too clean for me, but it‘s not mine so who cares!😄 The quality counts!
Impressive build and very professionally presented.
Thanks for watching!
9:45 when a shovel & some T.P. just won't do😂😂😂
Really nice.
I need this in my life lol 😆
Believe me, you don't! There are a lot of better designed converted sprinters on youtube. This is one of the worst use of space I've ever seen in sprinters.
@@hamidnikbakht1295 Link please, thanks!
Nice clean build.....
Thanks!
Liked the lay out. I have a question. Does that storage deck fold up to the width of one? Can the sections be stacked? I like the small sofa aspect, but may need more room at times.
this gives me some ideas for what I want. Basically a place to sleep. I do not want any toilet sink or stove. I use a Coleman stove. This is actually a pretty nice set up.
Glad you got some ideas, that's what these vids are all about!
Nice van...seems like the interior is missing something. I like the Outside Vans designs and recently have been very interested in the Storyteller Mode 4.
It’s missing a shower
Looks like high quality workmanship. Very interesting ideas here! Have you ever found a need to put a heating pad near the lithium batteries?
Yes we have heater pads on our batteries that are linked to a temperature controlled relay.
Great build. Can you let me know what heat pads you are using in the build? Both on water tanks and battery, please. With technical details if possible. Wondering about wattage and how long they operate on the batteries’ capacity...
Nice
Good stuff
Glad you enjoyed it.
Great video, any chance you could tell me the colour of the van as we are about to order a new van and want grey.
Great looking and sleek van design but it seems there was a lot of wasted space. No bathroom/toliet and not a lot of cabinet space otherwise it looks pretty versatile.
Can't wait for Asking The Cash Price. Thank You.
I love the van! it's clear a LOT of thought went into the choices for lighting and cooking. That has to be the smallest microwave that I have ever seen. I need something that small for my boat. Would you please share with me the make and model? I would greatly appreciate it. Alan
It's a "designer" microwave. Made by William Sonoma.
I would move top bed bunk over cab seats manually pull down when need extra bed my opinion
We gotta get this man a camera 😂 great content deserves a nice little rig 👍🏼
whoah thats a pretty nice van!! i just would rather have my 1st gen ram and i love it alot
What are the bed dimensions on this? Are the 170 beds usually longer than the 144 beds?
Nice Build!! What is the name of the shower unit? Thanks
Anyone know the ride quaility of the 4x4 Merc Vans on the highway? are they rough riding because of the offroad suspension? I have never driven one but want one. I was just wondering for long road trips are they pretty comfy on the highway? Nice van!
They aren’t bad. Not quite as smooth as the 2 wheel drive but still smooth and worth it to have 4X4.
WOWWWW! awesome build I like everything about it. However, I didn't see any type of ventilation for the microwave.
Haven't found a need to vent the microwave. You generally only need a vent for a convection oven or something similar.
@@TitanVans Still an awesome build. :)
@@CCaudits glad you like it!
nice car
👍👍👍👍
I've owned the sprinter and the transit....I like the transit much better!
Thank you. You kindly explain that with shorepower the inverter auto charges the L-ion batteries. Sprinter motor will also auto charge the L-ion batteries, correct? Is the standard alternator used for this Build or is the MB upgraged alternator or second alternator added?
Yes the engine also charges. We typically just use the stock MB alternator but can and have added secondary alternators to increase the charge capacity.
Nice 2 person van. Each gets a bed and a couch.
Yes
nice van! what about the toilet?
No love for the smartemp 2.0? No, you can't use it to set high altitude but it would compliment the 360 panel and the BMV for its tech. Not sure why the redundant light switches when the other set are literally an arms length away?
What type of wall liner are you using?
can you discuss how did you insulated the hull before installing the framing or walls?
Sound deadening mat and thinsulate.
Why are there always these sharp angles in a van have you ever lived in one
Yeah l wouldn't want to catch my head on the corner of that over sink unit as l know l would.
Same in the boat business I've had boats they built I got sharp Corners WTF
For the devices that are powered off of the 12 VDC system (or really the inverter since that gets power from the batteries, too), do you have separate 12V batteries from the main engine-start battery? Or do you just have a very large Amp-Hour capacity battery that starts the engine and powers all the 12V devices (and the inverter)? If it's the latter, is there a cutoff or warning system then lets you know to stop pulling amps from the battery so that you can ensure you still have enough stored energy to start the engine? Does it have auto-engine-start capabilities?
Also, what's the typical battery life like for an overnight situation? As in, running the heater or AC overnight while sleeping and charging phones...can the batteries last for 8 hours until you wake up and fire up the engine again?
Two separate systems. When the engine is running it will automatically connect and charge the rear batteries. There is an auto cut off and alarm system for the rear batteries as well.
We design anywhere between a 200Ah and 1000Ah battery bank systems and to calculate run time for a system you multiply the items current draw by the amount of hrs you will run it for.
Love that build. Especially the beds Simple. Functional. And oh so purdy. What size wheels and tires on it? (Everyone seems to skip that part of their van tour).
These are 275/70r17
Titan Vans thank you. I am debating tire size. Most say the 275 are fine but some say it causes problems with adaptive cruise control. Any problems with the 275 you are aware of?
I like this van! Where do you shower in the kitchen? I saw the cassette toilet, but he did not talk about or show us the shower. 🤔 Very nice van; It's good for two people's.
Many of our clients do not want an interior shower, a handful of reasons, space, use frequency, cost. All of our vans have a rear wash station that can be used but is certainly a fair weather option.
I have just picked up a 2016 170" wheel base 4x4 high top and am looking to build it out. Couple questions that was a clean and simple build out could you share with me cost of that and how long to complete. I have no windows a cargo van a blank canvas.
All pricing is available online at Titanvans.com, typical build out takes 4 weeks.
"hot water heater" hehehe
Does it have a custom ejection seat?
It seems like there might be room for a shallow upper cabinet above the lower cabinet across from the sink. It seems like it would be useful to have just a cubby cabinet w storage openings for a lot of little things as a catch all near the side door.
Certainly could add one. This obviously was a custom build with a client specifies layout. We typically like to keep overhead cabinets all on one side of the van to still allow for ample head room and keep the space feeling large. If you put overhead cabinets on both sides of a van we have found it can feel claustrophobic.
@@TitanVans - I'm not sure about the back story...you were doing more custom vans and now you are trying to do a standard product line-up? Do you still do custom work?
@@floyd48383 In short yes. We were offering full custom builds from the ground up for the last 4 years. After doing hundreds of unique builds we now have now come out with 8 unique builds. Each has tons of upgrade options and ability to customize around the base package. You can see more at Titanvans.com
I have a question, this van is built for sleeping 4, but you can only seating 2 when you driving, does it missing something? However, I like most of everything except the toilet, it would be nice if built with a full shower bathroom.
Yes, this was a custom build. Client is a mountain guide and didnt need to carry 4 but have the option to host 4.
Any chance you can share which shower mixing valve and sprayer you use? Thanks
These will be available on TitanDIYkits.com soon!
Which cook top is that? Rare to see a nice single inductive built in model.
Furrion.
your vans are amazing and you are soooooooo cuuute omg!!!
there is an extra bed, so it can sleep more than 2 yet it cannot transport more than two, which is puzzling. Is there a way to add seats so 3 or 4 people can properly travel in this design? Perhaps getting rid of the bench on the side? Thanks.
The client does a lot of traveling all over the country as a ski guide. She almost never travels with people but wanted the ability once she got to her location to have her friends be able to crash at ski resorts or back country locations. Customs designs vans are just that, custom. Sounds like your needs are different than this particular clients and the bench seat could certainly be changed out with a DOT captains chair, 2 person bench, or 3 person bench.
@@TitanVans Thank you! That makes perfect sense. I like the design, and with the option to add DOT seats, it has everything I need :)
Just Wanted To know the price for this Layout? Thanks
If they told you the price, you would never finish the video. :)
@@decoff 🤣🤣🤣
Hey it’s a bomber !! Good season!! How this year?
Microwaves on the top looks like it can be dangerous for short people to use. An awesome makes a top heavy. Can y'all put that microwave down low at office space height or lower?
Beautiful layout, but I’m confused ? I can see how 4 people sleep but 2 extra people can not ride in this van. Could the front bench seat be converted to Dot approved passenger seats. Looking for a solution to have 4 passengers ride safety in our new van.
Yup, can definitely swap out front couch for seating with seat belts.
Why would build a sleeps 4 but can only carry 2 down the road? Nice and knowledgable build

Good video. Need to clean the lens next time.
Very very cool ...but we've got to be close of over $100K!! Not chump change!
No table for dining or working?
Snaps = Press studs? Nice van build 👍
Can I ask what type/ brand of hpv you used on the outside of the cabinets?
This is made by Wilson Art, 5th Ave Elm.
How much did this built out cost ?
On the website it says 80k plus the cost of the van
No refrigerator/freezer?
Guy sounds like Sam Kinison. Was waiting for hims to start screaming.
Let's cook outside people!. Give me some outdoor cooking options!. Check out the Aussies!
Beautifully designed. Very knowledgeable presenter. Where do you store the extra mattress and all the bed furnishings? And clothes, etc. Sooooo little storage in this van. Owner must be a weekend warrior.
Van was designed for a Ski guide who generally travels solo but wanted the ability to have people crash if needed. The lower bed platform was intended to be used with camping pads so they could be deflated and stored without taking up much space. More storage is easy to add but can definitely make vans feel claustrophobic, hard balance to strike, and each customer is as unique as the vans!
What is the make/model of those push button latches?
They are called rim latches. Available in different styles and finish.
4:33 - "Hot water heater..." If the water is already hot, why do you need to heat it?
Does the van come with cushions for lower bed and seat?
Certainly can, thus client preferred camping pads to keep things minimal.
