Thank you for this video! You made it so easy to understand. Oh and thank you for not going over the brand/color of yarn and knitting needles. That is so annoying when people do this.
Thanks, Rena! I sometimes provide brief info on type of yarn used and needles in some videos as I know it helps some viewers but must have not for this one. Will consider adding a timestamp to start of pattern in the future, so you can skip right to that 😊 Thanks for watching and best wishes!
Thankyou, its very easy to undestand and clear explanation.please do more similar stitch ,aka simple looking stitch that has holes but not to holey.hehe
Thanks! Alrhough I had planned too, have not had a chance to design something using this pattern yet. The 2 (or multiple) color version will look great. I will try that out and hope to share a video on that (or on a project). Thanks again for watching and your comments! Best wishes😊
Hi Hema, check out my regular/basic bind off (casting off) video at ruclips.net/video/gjGRAN6dutk/видео.html. The same cast off technique can be used for this honeycomb brioche stitch. Thanks for watching and best wishes 😃
Hi Rachel, I don't recall the gauge for this swatch. But I just made up a swatch with medium weight (4) yarn and it gave me the following gauge: 12 sts x 2 pattern repeats on US size 9 (5.5 mm) needles gives a swatch that's 3 inches wide and 1 inch in height. Hope that helps. If you wish to use this pattern for a project, would suggest making a similar pattern swatch with the yarn and needles you want to use (for medium weight yarn, suggest using US 7 to 9 size needles). That way you will get your gauge and can calculate the number of stitches to cast on (as long as they are an even number, pattern will work). Thanks for watching and best wishes. Happy New Year!
@@rachaelleverette6599 Sure, my pleasure. A blanket sounds like an excellent project with this stitch. I have not yet used this in a project but was thinking perhaps a sweater vest might be fun to knit (will be super warm one with this stitch). Enjoy the project and thanks for supporting my channel (:
@@samidharane1574 Hi Samidha, please check out my video on how to do this in 2 colors (simpler version) at ruclips.net/video/FHvO9OA4Cws/видео.html. This uses similar K1b-type stitches as the 1-color honeycomb brioche pattern. A more advanced 2-color version is the one with which I knitted pink scarf (ruclips.net/video/QIQI8xYxEu0/видео.html), but this uses the brioche stitch and not the K1b stitch. Hope you like and enjoy knitting the simpler version and let me know if you have questions. Thanks and happy knitting 😊
Hi Tessa, so sorry but not sure why that's happening. It played fine when I tested it just now. Perhaps it's the browser you are using (I think it should play on most any browser like Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge). Hoping it resolves and you can see it. You can also try to play the 2-color honeycomb brioche video (link: ruclips.net/video/QIQI8xYxEu0/видео.html). Hope that works. Thanks and best wishes!
I have looked at all the tutorials on RUclips, your tutorial is by far very clear to follow. Simple to understand. Thank you.
Thanks so much! Glad you found it useful. Best wishes!🤗
Thank you for the very clear explanation. As a beginner, it’s very easy to understand. I will try .☺️
My pleasure! Happy it was helpful. Thanks for watching and best wishes!😊

I'd love to see how to increase and decrease in this stitch
Beautiful! I am excited to see a project in this stitch pattern and also wonder how it would look with 2 or more colors.

Thankyou can't wait for your project in this pattern 😎
well explained, thank you! :)
Thanks (:
Can you show how to bind off?

What is the row 5??? Is it row 1 too???
Yes, Row 5 would se same as Row 1. Essentially, after Row 4, just keep repeating Rows 1-4. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and best wishes 🤗
Would you be able to tell me what your gauge ended up being?

@@KnittycatsKnits They you so much. I really appreciate the response, and it helps so much! I'm hoping to do a smaller blanket with the stitch.

So odd. I can't see the video, it's just a black screen, but I can hear you.
